She was pacing nervously around his living room for the past thirty minutes.  She was really tired from the full day photo shoot and just wanted to go bed and rest her eyes into a deep slumber.  For just a slight second, she wanted to give in and retreat to his room to get her beauty sleep.  But she can’t do that so easily, one she’s a girl staying the night at a man’s place and two it’s Lee Min Ho’s place, enough said she has to be on high alert like terrorists are coming and can attack any second now. 

How do I break the ice and make this not seem awkward? How do I ask to go to sleep but not to share a bed with him and not seem rude? Shin Hye ah breathe slowly think this through.  Step 1, I need to ask for clothes to change in.  Step 2, I’ll tell him I need the room to myself because I roll around and sometimes attack people in my sleep.  Step 3, I’ll push him out of the room and lock the door.  Yes that sounds good…it’s a plan!  Now Shin Hye all you need to do is execute it, you can do it, Shin Hye fighting!

He was sitting leisurely on the couch arms stretch out wide admiring the giddy girl nervously pacing back and forth in is living room.  He pursed his lips together and stifled a giggle.  He was mentally giving himself a pat on the back for taking her hostage for the next two days, this is going to fun.

What have you done to me, Miss Park Shin Hye? I’m a 26 year old grown man and you somehow have this power to turn my into a child like fool laughing silently at himself.  Now how do I get you to calm down and share the same room, better yet bed, is the million dollar question.  I don’t want to come off too strong and give the wrong impression, but I also don’t want to sleep alone on the couch.  Think Min Ho, think.  Step 1, I’ll ask if she needs anything maybe a toothbrush and clothes to change into.  Step 2, Maybe we can play some time of game and winner sets the rules.  Ha, I like this one I’m good at games and I always win, this will be for sure in the bag.  Ha, I didn’t even need three steps, another pat on the back Min Ho, fighting!

‘Shin…’

‘Oppa..’

They both broke the silence at once softly gazing at each other, Min Ho still sitting at the couch and Shin Hye standing at the other side of the room.

‘Shin Hye ah you go first’ he blurted to ease the tension between them and to pass ball to her and buy himself some time to think of how to properly phrase his next words.

‘Oppa…uhh…umm…yea…you see I didn’t expect to be taken hostage here for the night…uhh…and….I…uhh…don’t have any clothes to change into’ her brain was desperately searching for words to piece her oh so eloquent sentence together.

‘I have some clothes you can borrow’ he nonchalantly got up from his seat and walked into his room.  Within seconds he reappeared with a tiny stack of clothes and some facial products.

‘Uhh…here you go.  I wasn’t sure what you like to wear to sleep so I got a bit of everything, you can choose’ he handed the stack of clothes to her while avoiding her gaze to prevent her from catching his uneasiness.

Slick one Min Ho, yeah right.

‘Gwamo’ she bowed and rushed to the bathroom like a monster was chasing after her and didn’t dare catch a second glance at him.   

Good job Shin Hye, not.

After a couple of minutes a loud click echoed throughout the silent apartment.

Min Ho, keep calm, all will be ok.  Just act cool and everything will sort itself out.

He jumped from his seat smoothing down his hair and clearing his throat anticipating what she would look like in his clothes.  She emerged from the restroom and immediately happily giggled at the image in front of him. The navy blue v neck cotton shirt was obviously three sizes too big for her petite frame, she looked like she was swimming in it, but the v neck was cut just right so that she can see her silky white collarbone.  The shirt was so long that it hit her upper thigh and covered the shorts she was wearing underneath teasing him as if she was only wearing the shirt.

‘Uhh…how do I look?’ she cutely smiled at him and did a turn to let him admire her in the awkwar
