Now that Baro oppa was back, I didn’t have to feel as awkward. He was able to calm me down from being with Jonghyun oppa and the awkwardness between us. Jonghyun oppa had put a protective arm around my shoulders as Baro oppa had an arm around my waist. They were sitting really close with me, so that I was squished in between them. Since I was still really tired, I leaned my head onto Jonghyun oppa’s shoulder. After fifteen minutes of talking, the bell finally rang. I groaned,

“Mmmmm… I don’t wanna go to class~”

“Come on, Erin-ah. I’ll bring you to class.” Baro oppa told me.

I sat up straight and I got onto his back as he piggybacked me to my first class, with Seven by our side. The classroom was already filled with other students. I sleepily gazed around at everyone who glared at us. I was about to get off, but he held me in place. Seven oppa went to his seat as Baro oppa asked,

*Where do you sit?*

*Oh, I can just get there myself.*

*Nah, I want to bring you to your seat. You’re still really tired.*

*You don’t have to.*

*I want to.*

*Well, I sit in the back next to the windows, two seats away from Seven oppa.*

He strolled over to my desk and set me down in the seat. It seemed a little awkward because everyone shut up and watched us the entire time. After I was seated, he turned around to me and lightly smiled. He hugged me and kissed my forehead. A small blush rose to my cheeks. He quietly said,

“Saranghae, Erin-ah.” And looked at all of the girls, giving them a big warning glare, before walking out.

I put my head down on the desk and rested. For the first time, I actually didn’t feel the hateful glares on me. I was also quite surprised that nobody attacked me or bullied me today.

*CNU hyung has them all on slight mind control. He really wants you to relax. He doesn’t like using his mind control, but he said that he knows that you’re tired and don’t want to deal with any fangirls today.*

*Ah… Tell CNU oppa that I said thanks.*

A few seconds passed and he replied,

*CNU hyung said that it’s not a problem.*

The class passed quickly as Baro oppa and I talked through our minds. I stopped every once in a while to take the lecture’s notes. The day quickly ended and Baro oppa and I went out on our second date. We were aware that Seven oppa followed us in the shadows, but he told us to ignore him. Baro oppa took me out to a café for an after school snack. We cuddled up together on the same side of the booth.

“What would you like to have for drinks?” the young waitress asked Baro oppa.

JustBaro oppa.

He replied,

“I dunno… I’ll have whatever my girlfriend will have… Erin-ah?”

He turned his gaze to me as the waitress looked disappointed.

“I would like a chocolate milkshake, please.”

“So, two milkshakes?” she asked Baro oppa, again.

“No. Make it one, with two straws.”

Her eye twitched in annoyance as she fake smiled,

“Neh. I’ll be back shortly.”

She turned around and stalked away from us. Baro oppa and I snickered at her behavior. Two minutes later, she came back with the chocolate milkshake. She bent down and set it in front of Baro oppa, trying to show him her chest. Baro oppa did nothing but gaze into my eyes.

“Thank you.” He didn’t even look at the waitress and pecked me on the lips.

I saw her facial expression twist in annoyance as she nodded and left. We started eating as we shared a conversation through our thoughts. I had to use lots of aegyo to feed him. Usually I’d just allow him to feed me, but I refused to let him unless he used aegyo too. He pouted,

“B-But I don’t want to use aegyo more than I am right now~”

“Too bad! It’s either that you will or we’ll just eat on our own!”

He thought about it for a few seconds before picking up the sandwich and held it up to my mouth. He pouted,

“Erin-ah~ please open your mouth~ I know you’re hungry~” he lightly poked my cheek repeatedly.

I opened my mouth and bit into the sandwich. We took turns feeding each other and sipping the milkshake together. Baro oppa paid for the bill and then he took me out to a movie. It wasn’t a bad movie, and we exited the theater as it finished.

“Did you want some ice cream?”

“Hmmm…. Sure!”

He smiled at me, held my hand and brought me to an ice cream parlor just a few blocks away. We got our ice cream and took a stroll through the park across the street. We spent an hour eating our ice cream and talking as we sat on a bench. When we finished, Baro oppa piggybacked me and in two seconds, we were home.

He put me down and opened the door to find Jinyoung oppa cooking and everyone else watching tv. Roo came from Baro oppas room and lazily greeted me. I smiled and pet him before moving to the kitchen to feed him. After Roo was given his food, I greeted Jinyoung oppa and went to the living room to greet everyone else. All of them smiled at me as I said to CNU oppa,

“Thank you for controlling the fangirls today.”

“It’s no problem, Erin-ah. You really needed a break from those girls.” He smiled.

I sat on Baro oppa’s lap as the six of us talked until Jinyoung oppa announced that dinner was ready. All of us got up and went to the table and ate. After we finished, Baro oppa and I went on a nightly walk and of course, Seven oppa came along but hid in the shadows. We decided to bring Roo with us, since he hadn’t been out on a walk for a while. He got really excited as I put the leash on him and we were off. Baro oppa and I linked arms together just like any other couple would, as Roo cheerfully walked a foot in front of us. We walked past a few alleyways seeing some hobos. I clutched onto Baro oppa tighter, noticing that a couple were eyeing us. As we continued to walk, I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I thought to myself,

*Is it another one of those crazed vampires?*

*Another? What do you mean another?*

*Oops… Well, last year when you were still in a coma, everyone went hunting after school and Seven oppa was walking home with me. We passed an alleyway and a crazed vampire tried attacking me, but Seven oppa took care of him.*

*Aish… Why didn’t you ever tell me about that?!*

*Sorry! It just never crossed my mind!*

We continued to walk further and Roo stopped in his tracks. He got spooked and turned around, jumping into my arms. A dark shadow appeared at lightning speed in front of us and lunged for my neck. Baro oppa got in front of me and suddenly blood splattered over the both of us. Seven oppa was standing less than a foot in front of Baro oppa. It seemed that he got in the vampire’s way and he bit into Seven oppa’s shoulder. The vampire quickly pulled away, leaping a few feet away.

*Ewww…. Now Seven oppa’s blood is on my face and on my clothes!*

“Y-YOU!!! You got in my way! I want the human!!! I-I need h-human b-blood! Her scent, it’s d-driving me crazy!”

“Too bad then. If you were any quicker, you’d still have interference. You should know this. Even though her scent may smell mouthwatering, you should avoid attacking her since there’s two vampires already hanging around her.”

I suddenly felt someone’s hot breath on my neck. My body stiffened in fear, knowing that it was another crazed vampire. Seven oppa and Baro oppa suddenly turned around quickly, and hissed.

Baro oppa turned around, and grabbed the vampire’s arm. I felt something pierce my back beside my shoulder blade, and it hurt like no tomorrow. I tried to scream, but nothing came out. I tightened my grip on Baro oppa from the pain. He was just a little too late. I dropped Roo to the ground, and thankfully he safely landed on his paws. I stared at Baro oppa as his eyes flashed red in anger, along with Seven oppa’s. I felt the vampires fingers slowly pull out from my back, causing me more pain. I fell to my knees and sat on one of my legs as Roo whimpered in fear and confusion next to me. I panted and lightly pat his head, trying to calm him down. I looked at the vampire behind me and he looked just as crazed as the first one. He stared at me thirstily as he brought his hand to his mouth and the blood off.

“D-Delicious… I-I’ve been craving t-this for a v-very l-long time… I’ve almost f-forgotten what h-human blood t-tastes like…”

Baro oppa scowled and side kicked the vampire as Seven oppa started fighting the other. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see anything. I blocked out every sound that I heard and held onto Roo. I focused on trying to block out the pain in my back, feeling the blood drip down and quickly staining my favorite clothes. The vampire seemed to get past Baro oppa and dove for me. I flinched and covered my face. I felt his long nails rip through my shirt, creating deep scratch marks across my stomach, before Baro oppa yanked him away from me. I groaned at the sudden pain and held the five fresh wounds.

Four minutes later, a hand was laid on my shoulder. I flinched, thinking that it was another crazed vampire.

“Relax Erin-ah, it’s just us.” Seven oppa calmly said.

I finally relaxed as he helped me up.

“We really need to avoid alleyways, don’t we?” I asked.

Seven oppa chuckled,

“Yeah, so far it’s only given us bad luck.”

“Let’s go back home, before any other vampires decide that they're thirsty too.” Baro oppa stated.
