'Where is he?' Jieun tapped her right foot impatiently. Myungsoo was supposed to meet her after school today, he promised her.

She reached for her phone that was in her bag and dialed his number. "The person you are trying to call is unavailable, please try again later" Jieun harshly ended the call and blew her bangs. 

She leaned against the school gate, watching the students leave one by one but Myungsoo was still not in sight. 'Something must have happened' Jieun thought while biting her lips.

It wasn't like him to break promises. After he made sure she was okay yesterday after meeting her dad, he said he would be the one to buy her food and Jieun couldn't stop smiling. 

Myungsoo did not return to their class after they had their lunch and Jaekyung said it was probably because he was bored in class and knowing Myungsoo, that could be the reason.

"Did he forget?" She asked herself, weakly. With a sigh, she sat down on the cold hard ground and waited.

One hour passed,

Two hours passed.

Myungsoo wasn't coming and she was sure of that. She dialed his number again, hoping he would answer but when there was no respond, she stood up and started walking back home.

Yes she was disappointed but maybe something came up that he could not avoid, maybe today just wasn't her day to confess.
