"Mom? Dad? I'm home" Jieun yelled and took off her school shoes. She closed the door and walked to the living room. 'I guess they aren't here' She thought. Jieun went upstairs and was about to go in the room when she heard noises coming from her parents room.

She heard whimpers, was someone hurt? Thinking it was her mom, she ran to the room and twisted the doorknob only to find her dad and a very young looking woman on the bed together. 

"Jieun!" The dad said startled and quickly wore his jeans. Jieun covered , tears were already falling. The dad she had always look up to, her hero, the person who promised to be there for her is cheating on his wife. He lied to her and her mom.

The woman on the bed was now making her way out of the room, well not before smirking at the heartbroken Jieun. "I hate you!" She yelled on top of her lungs and started sobbing louder. "Baby girl, I can explain" Her dad whispered and slowly walked towards her.

"Explain? I don't need your explanation. All those time I thought you always came home late because you had work, but I was wrong right?" Her face showed pain, she felt betrayed. "Right?" She yelled and fell to the floor, her knees feeling weak. 

"Mom would always stay up late to wait for you, only to have you push her away" She smiled bitterly. Her dad ruffled his hair, frustrated. "Please Jieun, it was a mistake. I promise you, please don't tell your mom" He looked desperate. 

What ever happened to the dad that was strong, always positive? What happened? Jieun stood up and shook her head. "I believed you when you said our family will always be happy. What happened, dad?" Her dad was about to say something but she cut him off by running out of the room.

She ran down the stairs, her vision was blurry due to the tears. She heard a loud cry and froze when she saw who was in front of her. Her mom.

"Mom" Jieun ran to her mom and hugged her. "Jieun, let's leave this place quick okay?" Her mother looked like a mess, her eyes were red and puffy. "But mom, how did you--" "I saw the woman running out of the house"

Jieun hugged her mom tighter and cried silently. Her mom doesn't deserve this. She loves him, so much. "Jiyeon.." Her mom stiffened and Jieun stopped crying. She broke the hug and glared at her father who was standing behind them.

"Don't you dare call her name after treating her like that" She spat. Her mom stayed silent. "Come on, mom" Jieun said, her eyes still on her dad's. "We have to leave the house as soon as we can" Her dad frowned
