YoungDo regretted to have dragged ChaeWon out and skipped school. He should have been more careful, at least until he found a way to get through ChaeWon’s father. But once again, he screwed up. ChaeWon would not return to JeGuk High and he might not be able to see her again. He had no one to blame but himself.

A man riding on a bicycle came out from the sidewalk suddenly. YoungDo was in his deep thoughts that he didn’t notice that. By the time he realized it and braked his bike, the bicycle was already very close.

YoungDo steered right to avoid running into the bicycle and skidded to a stop. The bike tipped over and YoungDo fell on the ground. He twisted his right wrist when he fell to the ground.

A pedestrian walked over and asked, “Son, are you alright?”

YoungDo looked up and nodded.

“Do you need any help?”

YoungDo smiled and said, “I’m alright. Thanks!”

YoungDo sat on the ground and massaged his right wrist. His phone rang. He dug out his phone from his pocket immediately. He thought it was ChaeWon; yet it wasn’t.

“What?”

MyungSoo, “Where are you?”

YoungDo let out a long sigh and said, “I just crashed my bike. Come and pick me up.”

MyungSoo was already in his car and not far away from where YoungDo was; hence, he arrived in less than 15 minutes.

MyungSoo got off his car and said, “What happened to you? Did you get hurt?”

YoungDo stood up and said, “Twisted my wrist.”

MyungSoo pushed YoungDo into the car and said, “I’ll take you to the hospital.”

“But my bike..."

“Don’t worry. People from the garage will be here soon. Just get in!” MyungSoo pushed him again.

X-ray was done. No bones were broken. It was just a minor injury.

YoungDo and MyungSoo waited for the prescription outside the hospital dispensary.
