“Where are we?” Sulli asked as the car came to halt.

“My place” Minho answered with a smile

“Your place? What are we doing here? Aren’t we joining the group for dinner at Onew’s?” she asked. She was a bit surprised that they were not driving the direction on the way to the Pizza Place nor the Café where they used to date, but to an unfamiliar route which lead to a high rise condominium.

“Onew knows we’ll have our own couple dinner, so no need to worry” he smiled and then got out of the car to open her door.

Sulli got out of the car and viewed the building, it was as luxurious looking like his car is and his parents’ mansion. He’s rich alright.

“Why did you get a place when you can live on your parents’ mansion?” she wrapped her arm around his still looking at the building.

“I want to live independently, taking care of my own stuff… you know… like you?” he smiled and led her to the entrance.

“Yeah, but I have a reason to get my own place here since my hometown was far and my parents are always abroad. But you…” Sulli’s reasoning was stopped by Minho

“Like I said Love, I wanted to be independent, I want to learn how to do things on my own. Besides, whenever I plan to get married and have a family, at least I can proudly say that I wasn’t brought up with helpers doing things for me all the time.” He said

“*sigh* fine… you do plan ahead for the future huh” she smiled at him, not forgetting what he mentioned bout having a family.

“One step at a time Love” he smiled as if answering her thoughts in mind

The guard and front desk officer greeted them as they went in.

“Mia, please include her to the list” Minho said to the front desk officer as Sulli entered her name on the log, Mia nodded.

Hand in hand they reached his unit at the 46th floor … the penthouse.

“For a while I thought we were going to the rooftop” Sulli said and silently giggled. Since they were at his place, Sulli was quite expecting that maybe Minho did plan something for their first Valentines together.

“Hmmm…. Looks like someone’s been expecting” Minho wiggled his eyebrows teasing her

“Tsss… As if you’re not full of surprises” Sulli stick out her tongue at him which Minho chuckled to

“Let’s get in” Minho opened the door and led her inside.

As Minho opened the door and the lights, Sulli’s eyes were caught by the beautiful scenic view from his big windows.

“Wow… you really must love this kind of view…” Sulli uttered in awe while slowly approaching the glass.

“Who doesn’t? You do too right?” He slowly hugged her from behind while both of them stared out the glass.

“yes…” was only her answer as she rested her head on his shoulder and started playing with his fingers (out of habit)

“I miss you” he cuddled her more inhaling her sweet scent “you have no idea how much I wanted to keep you always this close everyday”

Sulli turned to face him grinning wrapping her arms around his neck “hmm… who’s being cheesy now” she gave him a quick peck on his lips that startled Minho

“Tsk, that’s not how you do it” Minho acting disappointed

“Huh? Do what?” Sulli’s brows furrowed not quite getting what he meant

“This…” he held her chin up and gave her a long sweet kiss… with their eyes closed savoring the moment. Both smiled as they broke the kiss yet still in each other’s arms

“How bout helping me prepare dinner? Is that alright with you?” Minho asked her sweetly

“Of course, Love… I’m kinda getting hungry now” she giggled

“Hungry for me?” Minho said slowly teasing her

“Hmm… with that kiss earlier?... I think you’re the one who’s hungry for me” she gave him a meaningful smile and inched closer nearly kissing him. Minho immediately closed his eyes preparing for another sweet longing kiss… when he realized he wasn’t waiting for anything. He opened his eyes he saw Sulli covering suppressing a laugh

“Yah! That’s not fair!” Minho said and tickled Sulli that made her squirm away and had them chase around his living room. As she was trying to stall him, she ran towards a corner and to her surprise it was the kitchen. She suddenly stopped running as she entered that part of the unit, Minho caught her from behind and spun her around.

“Gotcha!” he exclaimed both still laughing at their little chase.

“Let’s cook dinner now… I can’t wait to use your kitchen!” she said happily.

Being good at cooking, both of them started preparing a simple dinner. Minho smiled at the thought that he just gone grocery shopping the other day not knowing that it was for this unexpected special occasion.

Minho started chopping the vegetables while Sulli went through his cupboards looking for other ingredients and finally started making their dessert.

Both were chatting at the same time while cooking, with a little ‘taste-test’ in between. After the placing the dishes on the table, both shared their simple yet memorable Valentines dinner.

“Thank you for making this dinner unforgettable, Minho” Sulli said leaning towards him smiling

“Well, it wouldn’t be that special if you didn’t help me prepare” he answered smiling back at her.

“I guess that’s what made it specially unforgettable… our first couple-made dinner” she smiled sweetly
