The party just ended and the ladies went back to the dressing room to change. Out of habit,  they are used to change into their casual clothes after such events, since they usually spend the rest of the night hanging out.

While waiting for the others, Yuri decided to talk to Minho about the earlier incident.

“Minho… can we talk?” Yuri asked in a serious tone

“Sure, what’s up? You sound serious” Minho said

“So what’s the score between you and Sulli? You two seem to be closer now”

“Well… we are… and uhmm… I’m courting her, so to say” Minho said smiling

“I knew it!” Yuri smiled widely “the way you two look at each other… that says it all… but you’re not official yet? I could feel that she’s in to you” she said with sincerity in her words

“She’s not ready yet… but she did say that she likes me back and I’m holding on to that. I’ll wait until she’s ready” he said

“Wow… so I guess I don’t have anything to worry then” she said

“Worry about what?” he wondered

“About you and her and… well actually there’s one thing to worry about” her expression changed

“It’s Jiwon isn’t it” Minho replied, sensing that it might have something to do with what happened at the mini bar

“Yeah… I don’t know when and why she suddenly got interested in you… but by the looks of it, she’s serious when she said she’ll get what she wants” Yuri’s face showed concern

“I know… her moves really surprised me. She knows that I won’t challenge her nor put her down from her actions. Then Sulli saw and heard everything” Minho said trying to recall the incident

“Sulli heard everything? Oh no…” Yuri cupped and shook her head

“She did but… what shocked me most was when she said she wasn’t mad. She knew Jiwon too well that she’s not that really bothered with her actions” Minho explained

“Oh wow… I didn’t know there are women like her still existing. It’s rare to find women who keeps an open mind these days when it involves someone they like or love” Yuri said amused. Minho didn’t say anything but smile at her statement.

“Just to warn you, Jiwon is up to something. You have to be careful when dealing with her, and please, you can’t be a gentleman all your life. You being too kind to the ladies has its limits. I’m telling you this coz I’m sure Sulli will be fighting for what you mean to her, so you better show her she has all the reason to.” Yuri placed a hand on his arm

“I trust you when it comes to your feelings but, please please please… don’t ever fall into that temptress’ trap.” Yuri squeezed his arm pleading

“I won’t… it’s a promise” Minho smiled assuringly and hugged Yuri “Thank you, for telling me this” he said and the latter just patted his back.

They broke the hug instantly when the rest of the members came out from the hallway. Though they both were now just friends, Sulli suddenly halted upon the sight of them together. She didn’t feel anything when Jiwon was trying to make her moves to Minho, yet the mere sight of the two friends just talking made that gripping feeling in her chest made it all seem wrong.

“Ssul…” Amber tapped her shoulder when she noticed that she stopped walking. She too saw Minho and Yuri talking and had already known what’s happening in Sulli’s mind

“They’re just friends now. She’s already engaged, remember?” Amber said trying to console her friend

Sulli deeply sighed and looked down, she wasn’t expecting that she would still react that way knowing that Minho already confessed to her and the fact that Yuri’s already getting married soon.

“I don’t know why I still feel bad when I see them that close. I know I shouldn’t be bothered anymore nor should I be selfish when it comes to his friends, but… *sigh* … why is it so hard to get used to it?” she sighed in frustration, more to herself that is

“Because you’re still into the notion that she is his first love… while obviously, you’re now his present love” she hugged Sulli’s shoulders while she said the last part

“You think so? I mean, I trust him when he said that, but, do you really think so?” she turned her head towards Amber looking at her with worried eyes

“I trust and know him long enough to say that, yes, he really, trully, loves you Ssul. He’s not one to play with one’s feelings” Amber assured her and showed her a sincere smile. Sulli can’t help but smile back, for some reason she felt comfort and reassurance from what Amber said.

“Thanks” was all she said and both continued walking out of the hallway

“Where are you going?” Amber suddenly asked when Sulli went the opposite direction leading to the basement parking

“I’m just gonna get my car, I’ll meet you guys at the front” she called out

“Oh sure. Take care.” Amber waved and followed the rest

“Amber!” Minho called and went near her

“Yup?!” Amber looked up and saw it was Minho

“Where’s Ssul? I didn’t see her come out with the others” he asked slightly anxious

“Oh, she just went to get her car at the basement. She said she’ll just meet us up front” she said

“Oh. Let’s go then” without waiting for her reply, he grabbed Amber’s arm and slightly dragged her towards the exit hurriedly

“Relax bro! She’ll wait for us anyway.” Amber chuckled at his actions while going through the main door.
