The following day

Minho got up earlier than the rest and found Sulli sitting crouched with her head on her hands. He soothed her back to get her attention. She slowly turned to face Minho, making sure it is him.

“Headache?” Minho asked and sat up

“Not really…” she muttered with eyes half open

“Really? You’re tough!” he said smirking

“Hmm… let’s just say that I have high tolerance to pain” she grinned

“If you say so…” he shrugged. He sat there watching her massage her temples with closed eyes. When he remember something he wanted to ask her

“Uhmm… Sulli… about last night” he started. Slightly looking down thinking of how to ask the question

“What about last night?” she asked still massaging her temples eyes closed

“… the game… the one you described?” he asked carefully. He wasn’t sure if he really wanted to hear it straight from her, but he couldn’t just resist any longer. He just had to make sure.

“mmm… what about it?” she slightly opened her eyes in shock but pretended it was not that of a big deal.

“do I… know him?” he looked at her with brows creased up.

“huh… what makes you interested?” she chuckled. “What the hell? He heard me last night?!” she was screaming in her head

“uhmm.. coz.. I don’t want you to hurt again… I don’t wanna see you low over a guy again… like what L…” he was about to say how that L guy got her so hurt she can’t forget when she cut him off

“it’s not L…and I’m probably done with him and all that bull” she said facing him

“so… that’s what changed your mind, that you decided to drink?” it suddenly reminded him that she said ‘it’s all gonna change’ when she decided to try a drink

“well… partly yes… but the bigger part was I really wanted to try” she smiled softly, a little embarrassed that he caught her.

“ok… so who’s the guy?” he still didn’t let go of the question “It’s now or never” Minho thought

Sulli just fell silent and lay down again “eh… just someone..” she said staring at the ceiling

Minho stared at her, he was scanning her face for any hints, but she’s just so good of an actress “is he that special to you?”

“mmm… kinda” she shrugged

“do you think he knows?”

“Ha! I wish…” she said sarcastically

Minho lay down and copied her position, staring at the ceiling

“Is he a friend?” he asked placing a hand behind his head

“Yup… wait… why are you asking?” she turned her head to him

“Because I'm trying to guess who’s the guy” he too turned his head to face her. She turned back to her previous position

Up to his game, she wanted to play a little “fine… I won’t give you hints anymore… I’ll give you two guesses and if you guessed it wrong twice, you will never find out” she said smirking but she was soo nervous inside.

“two huh? Hmm.. let’s see…” he turned to face the ceiling thinking of an answer. He too was nervous “should I just directly confess to her? But what if it isn’t me? What if it isn’t me…again?! This is harder than i thought…” his mind was debating whether to confess or just continue being like this with her.

“Heechul?” he asked, worried she might say yes.

“Nope… last guess” she smirked

Minho sighed… silently saying a prayer that this would end in a positive note. With all courage and guts he could muster, he’s giving it a shot. He turned to face Sulli, the latter just looked at him. Both eyes talking to each other conveying hints of hope.

“I think I know now” he smiled. She just raised her brows, asking him to continue.

"Me" he said carefully. Sulli just stared at him, not knowing how to react. Minho's heart beat erratically when Sulli did not respond. He suddenly feared he made a wrong guess.

"Is it me?" Minho got up and rolled over as he pinned the now shocked Sulli on the floor.

"Ssul ... look at me ... please. Is it me?" Minho's gaze with all hopes ... that melted Sulli's being under him. She looked at him not knowing how to react ... she felt her heart beat like a dozen stallion stampede... was it only hers? or could she also feel Minho's? She didn't care, but their position, with Minho on top, was of no help to calm her heart, mind, and body.

"I... I.. *gulp* w-what if... it's.. y-you..?" stuttering, Sulli finally found her tongue. She wasn't sure if she would tell him the truth or deny it for the time being.

"Because ... there's no one else in the group who fit that description ... is it really me?" said Minho, now whispering and their faces just inches away from each other.

"Minho... please... I.. can't breathe well" she whispered

"I won't let go unless you tell me" he was persistent, there's no other way than this, and he's afraid that if he let go he won't get another chance to learn the truth from her. He can feel her warm breath against his lips, it was oh so inviting..
