As they entered the living room, they were greeted by different faces. Minho’s mom was the one who introduced Sulli to them as she walked beside the two. It seems like it wasn’t a small party after all. There was also an acoustic band playing.

“These are all your relatives?” she asked her voice lowered as only the two of them can hear

“Mmm… yes… “he nodded and smiled as her eyes widened in surprise

“My dad has a big family, and I forgot to mention, most of them are here for the holidays. I only knew about all this, just this morning, when mom called” he said

“Oh, that explains it…” she sighed “wait… is that Vic?” she asked as she saw a familiar face among the crowd together with of course her fiancé Nickhun

“Oh yes, I forgot to tell you they came.”  He said and waved at Nickhun who was looking their way. Vic and Nickhun approached them and gave each other a hug

“Woah! What happened Ssul? We were just together last night”  Vic asked as she noticed Sulli’s tight hug on her like they haven’t seen for a long time

“Nothing… I’m just glad that you both are here too” she said as she let go, truth is, she was dead nervous seeing a lot of people and not to mention, all of them were Minho’s relatives. She thought she would only be meeting the parents and his brother, but seems like it was a family reunion rather than a birthday celebration

“aren’t you going to introduce me to Sulli, bro?” Minho’s brother appeared from behind the couple

“Oh there you are! Sulli this is my brother, Minseok and my soon to be sis in law, Seohyun” Minho introduced them and Sulli gave a little bow to them both

“Nice to finally meet you Sulli! I didn’t thought this day would come when my li’l bro would finally introduce someone special to us” his brother said with a smile, Sulli just smiled back

“So you too are in theater huh?” Seohyun asked Sulli

“Yes, we’re in one theater group” Sulli answered as she gestured the four of them, giving her warm smile

“Oh, why don’t you sing for us later?” Minseok said

“Yes that would be great Sulli! Sing for us” Seohyun agreed

“Oh, uhmm… I’ll see what I can do about that” Sulli just answered still smiling

“Ok then… we’ll leave you for a while, we seem to have not greeted all of the relatives. See you later” Minseok said and both him and Seohyun left to meet the other relatives

“Minhooooo…..” Sulli pulled his arm “what will I do?” she asked worryingly but trying to still look composed

“What? Don’t tell me you have stage fright” Minho chuckled

“Minho, I didn’t know it’s a big party, I could’ve prepared something you know” Sulli said whispering still worried

“Relax sweety… just sing whatever song, anyway the band can accompany for you” Minho said and caressed her hand holding his arm

“You are very tricky Choi Minho. You know very well that I won’t say ‘no’ when anyone will request, right?” her eyes narrowed which again Minho found amusing

“Don’t be mad Ssul… I know you can do this, I mean you’ve been doing this for years, how could this be any different?” Minho said calming her

“It’s your family Minho and not just random guests or audience who came to see me perform. I don’t know what you told them about me so I might not reach to their expectation” she said

“There’s nothing more to expect Sulli, you’re great just the way you are” Minho said giving her his sweet smile

“Pssh… trying to be cheesy huh” she sniggered

“C’mon Ssul…” he faced her “please…” he begged… cutely

“If it wasn’t your birthday and I’m not already pressured to do this I won’t do it” she smiled and slapped his arm facing Vic and Nickhun

The party went well and as the time passed, Sulli grew more comfortable with the crowd. She found herself already mingling with his cousins and the aunts were beginning to be fond of her.

“Minho is a lucky man! I’m glad he met someone like you!” one of his uncle said

“Oh, sir, don’t mention that when he’s here… he’s already too proud of it” she acted like she was whispering so Minho wouldn’t hear then she grinned. His uncle just laughed

“But he should be! There’s no reason for him not to be proud of you Sulli… and don’t call me sir anymore, from now on, call me uncle” he smiled and winked at Sulli.

“ok sir… I mean, ok uncle” she nodded and smiled back

Dinner was served on the buffet table, and as they were used to, Minho and Sulli served each other by putting dishes to each other’s plate. Relatives who saw them could help but admire at their sweet actions. It was their first time to witness Minho ‘in love’

“My son’s all grown up now” Minho’s mom said, welling up at the sight of him and Sulli on the other table

“Jung-eun dear, calm yourself” Minho’s dad said handing her a tissue to wipe her tears

“Honey, they’re so sweet to each other… I can’t wait to have grandkids with them” she said still looking at the couple

“Woah! Slow down dear, they’re not even officially a couple yet” his dad exclaimed

“Oh I know! But I’m sure they will be very soon” she smiled at the thought

“So what do you plan to sing later?” Vic suddenly asked

“Huh? Oh… it’s a secret” she said wiping with a napkin

“Why would it be a secret?” Nickhun asked

“Just… because it’s a secret” Sulli
