The day ended horribly as usual. It has been near six months and not a single thing was changed. Forced marriage big time. And the fact that she was forced into one made her feel way more miserable. Having to think of it, she thought maybe she could learn to love him but she was way out of his league. He was the son of the CEO of the biggest company, there was no way he's going to pay attention to a girl who doesn't have much. Minji is a normal girl that stays in a apartment somewhere in Seoul with her parents until one day they came up with a unpleasant surprise about her getting married to some rich guy which she did met went they were young but since then, he had never been the centre attention for her. Because her parents were close friends with his parents, they had planned years ago on getting them together and planned a sudden wedding for them. That 'guy' was Kim Jongin. He wasn't the typical work hard guy that listens to whatever the dad asks him to do. He plans his own schedule and plays around. Going on nightclubs and getting drunk but then coming back to go for meetings which he clearly was never interested in. But then he got the news of him getting married and obviously raged on that idea. Bursting out his anger on everyone around him, he went out to drink and even slept with girls to get his mind out of the things going on but eventually, he agreed on the marriage. Not even liking one bit of the girl, he had never treated her like a woman what more will he treat her like a wife. He makes sure they slept on separate rooms. He makes the rules and tells her not to go out to work and has to stay to clean and do the housework while he's out.

"Welcome home," she greeted her husband hesitantly as he loosened his tie.

"I made dinner, it's all se-" "I don't want any of your disgusting food, they all taste like and im not hungry." Jongin cut her off as he made his way to his room.

This was it, everyday. Him spitting out venom harsh words to her which hurt her alot but she could do nothing but just listen. She knew that if she reacted in anyway, things would have gone far worse and would create a conflict she never wanted. It hurt like hell when he yells at her and says mean words but there really was nothing she could do. A week after the incident, she planned on going out to shop and then go for a walk since she felt like she really needed a time to get her mind off things. She and Jongin hadn't talked nor looked at each other for quite a few days and it got her thinking why has he not left the house since he really hated living with her. Minji wondered what made him stay.

It was already near midnight and Minji was just unlocking the door to her house. Entering quietly so that she wont catch Jongin's attention in some way or disturb him when he's asleep. The living room was dark as she removed her boots and started walking towards the staircase but stopped when someone called out her name. Minji jumped at the sight of her husband hovering her as he stared intensely.

"Where were you?" He asked, dangerously low.

"I went to shop and then went for a walk.." Minji attempted to step back but Jongin had already trapped her between himself and the wall behind her.

"Oh really honey? Not sleeping around with guys like the little you are?" He was obviously drunk. "Since when have u been wearing tank tops hm?" he continued.

It was true but she had a cardigan over to cover herself up and it was cold, it wouldn't make sense for her to go out only in a tank top. Her everything was raging, she was so pissed off with how Jongin was acting. Drunk or not drunk, he was still a demon. Minji pushed him off gently and walked away but he trapped her once more.

"You're not going anywhere." He whispered.

"You're drunk Jongin, go get some rest. Now let me go, I want to rest." Minji replied through clenched teeth.

"You're a woman. You don't come back this late. I don't care if you go out to sleep with other man because you are indeed a but don't your dare ruin my reputation and let people find out about the things you're doing behind my back." It was too much to handle.

For six months she did nothing but agreed on whatever critic he gave her, no matter how much it hurts but he went overboard. She had enough of being called a cheap at home by her own parents and she cant take no more from her own husband. Minji's left hand raised as she slapped him across his cheek. His face was stinging and it slowly turn red as he glared at her. She knew by then she was in big trouble and there really was no escape. What happen next was something she has not expected, Jongin had hit her. He hit a woman, his own wife.

Minji fell to the floor as she held her right arm that was stinging in pain and she was sure it was going to leave a bruise for quite a few days. Jongin scooted down and held her face, making her face him.

"One more ing time you dare to do that, im throwing you out of the house and your life is going to be a nightmare." with that he head up to his room, slamming the door behind making Minji flinched. Tears rolled down her rose cheeks as she stood up slowly and used the wall to balance herself. The impact of falling hurt her thigh a little as she slowly walked up to her room. Nothing hurts more than her own husband hitting her. Words were enough to shatter her heart into pieces and he dared hurting her physically now. Minji layed across her white sheets and curled herself into a ball soon after and cried herself to sleep.

She really seemed hopeless.

Jongin woke up the next morning feeling a little dizzy. He had drank too much the day before as he stood up shakily. His mind immediately pictured what happened the night before as he cringed at the fact that he just hit Minji. He had intend to stay up all night to wait for her and lecture her but he went way too overboard and unintentionally hit her. He walked out of his room and head towards his wifes' room to check on her. It dawned him at that fact that he actually bothered to check on her. Normally he would brush it off and ego would cover his whole being. But just not today, not after he hit her. He walked into her room, eyes wandering around her the place until he saw her. Curled up into a ball shape as she shivered. She looked fragile and pale. Her eyes seemed puffy and it was obvious she was crying the whole night. Jongin felt guilt rushing through his entire being looking at her being so helpless. He moved her slowly to a normal position and immediately spotted the bruise she had on her right arm. 'There.. I hit her there..' Jongin thought to himself. Jongins fingers unconditionally moved to touch the bruise as he felt like he could tear right then and there. But ego stopped him, making him think why does he even care. It was getting on his nerves. Why did he stayed up for her? Why is he here in her room to check on her?

"Jongin?" He heard a sweet voiced echoed through his ears as he faced Minji. She groaned as she sat up slowly and looked at him weirdly.

"W-what are you doing here?" He watched her pull up the comforter to cover herself as she backed away. It was obvious she was scared, there was a glint of fear in her eyes which he didn't fail to notice. Without answering her question, he stood up and walked out of the room. He couldn't bear the sight of her like that, for six months he had been hurting and now then he realised. He felt pathetic but then again, why did he care? Why does he bother? Why does he even feel this way?

It all just doesn't make sense to him.
