When Hyemi stepped foot inside Hyunjong's school, she peeked at every room, to see if Hyunjong was there. She walked towards the end of the hallway and to her right, there was a door that says 'Head Master's Office'. The call from Amber made Hyemi feel uneasy. Hyunjong never really got into trouble at school and he's not usually the type to start a fight first, Hyemi had taught him that much. Violence was never the answer. After a gulp of nervousness, Hyemi knocked on the door before opening it slowly. 

The door revealed Hyunjong first then Amber, then the Head Master then a mother and her son. "Ah," the Head Master said. "You must be Hyunjong's sister."

Hyemi bowed. "Yes, I am... Did anything happen?" Of course she knew something happened. The kid had a bruise on his face, probably because of Hyunjong. She walked towards her brother and Amber before kissing Hyunjong on the head lightly.

"As you could already tell, your brother Miss. Lee, had punched Hyungdo on the face. I'm pretty sure there's a reason but he wouldn't tell," the Head Master explained.

Kneeling on the floor at Hyunjong's height, Hyemi looked at her brother. She knew there was a reason. By the look of his face, Hyunjong didn't seem to feel guilty giving the kid a bruise. "Hyunjong-ah," Hyemi said softly. "Why did you do it huh? I know you're not the type of person to fight... So why?" Hyunjong stared at Hyemi with his big eyes that was on the verge of tears. When Hyemi kissed him again softly on the forehead and said, "You don't have to tell okay? I just want to know why because I know you're not that type of person."

With a sudden burst ot tears, Hyunjong wrapped his arm around Hyemi's neck and started weeping uncontrollably. "I'm sorry umma!" Hyunjong cried. "I didn't mean to punch him, I just got very angry..." He hiccuped whilst tightening his arm around Hyemi. "He said I didn't have any parents! Don't I have you?! You're my umma!"

A droplet of tear escaped Hyemi's eye as he gently pulled Hyunjong off of her. "Of course I am Hyunjong... I feed you don't I? I put you to sleep, I kiss you, I take care of you when you're ill and I love you. Doesn't that make me you're umma?" Hyemi wiped Hyunjong's tears with her thumb and she tried very hard to smile.

"Then where's appa?" Hyunjong asked.

Hyemi became silent. She bit her lip and looked at Amber who's only just holding on her tears too. Hyemi then looked back at her brother and held him at his shoulders. "He's... busy..."

After Hyunjong had calmed down, the Head Master understood the situation with a sincere heart but still scolded at Hyunjong lightly as violence was never the answer to anything. Hyunjong apologised to the other kid with bruises on his face. The kid's mother apologised too as it was understandable for Hyunjong to get angry and punch her child like that. In the end, it was all settled and Hyemi and her brother came home. Hyemi thanked Amber for being there with Hyunjong.

"I bet you're not so angry now that I missed school huh?" Amber said smugly.

Hyemi softly smiled while shaking her head. "Whatever, just... thanks again Amber."

Amber patted Hyemi's shoulder before messing up her hair. "Don't worry about it okay? There will come a time when Hyunjong will know everything, and hopefully he will understand why you did that."

"I just hope so..." Hyemi whispered.

"All right then. I'm going home now kay? Kiss Hyunjong goodnight for me!" Amber jogged off away from the apartment as she waved goodbye.
