“I’m fine.”
“Are you ting me?”
“I you not.”
“You’ve got to be ing—“
“No, I’m not ing with you.”
“You would if you could. But if you hadn’t noticed, all your bones are broken,”
“…no they’re not.”
A low, rumbling groan erupted from the boy’s throat as he promptly stood up, exiting the room in all his frustration. Shiyeon quirked a brow, denying the sinking feeling she got when the door slammed.
Only a few moments later, Kai returned with a piece of paper in his hands and shoved it in her face.
“I hope you can read English. If not, the diagnosis there says broken arms, right shoulder dislocated, left foot fractured, right leg broken, deep brain stem intrusion. I swear to god, if you still think you’re going to be fine if you go to school like that, I will personally murder you.”
The brunette grinned uncharacteristically, “You wouldn’t,”
Kai glared at her, albeit weakly, “Who says?”
“Your heart, hon,”
“You would know. You have it,” the male smiled greasily, winking at her. Shiyeon pretended to cringe, raising her blanket to avoid looking at his face. Though she had been discharged after two weeks, she was sentenced to stay home until her bones had healed enough for her to exert physical strength; of which, was basically impossible in her state with a cast around every possible limb of her body, including her neck.
Shiyeon grumbled, pouting slightly, “Being bedridden though…”
“What do you mean? You + me + bed = loads of fun.”
“Get your mind out of the gutter!”
