Leah P.O.V.
I was holding onto something when I awoke. There was something obstructing my view, something right in front of my face.
Then I realized it was a neck.
I readjusted my arms a bit. They were wrapped around something. Someone’s back, my hands resting on their shoulder blades. My legs, entwined with someone else’s…My chest against someone else’s.
I tilted back my chin to find Yoseob’s sleeping face. My head rested on his arm, like a pillow. His other arm lay carelessly thrown over me.
Oh.
My.
God.
!!!
I felt my whole body stiffen and then flare up with heat. My thoughts came at a million miles per second. How did this happen? When did this happen? What is he doing here? Did I fall asleep like this? Do I not remember something important? Why are we all wrapped in each other?
I don’t think I had ever been this close to a boy. I had certainly never gotten into bed with one, which excluded wrapping myself around him like a Christmas bow. Hugging was different standing up. My heart was starting to beat furiously, I thought it might burst. Even though all of this turmoil was going on inside me, I found that I was unable to move. I felt Yoseob shift and then groan, and then yawn. I froze, as if he wouldn’t notice me if I stayed still. Suddenly, he stopped stretching.
He tilted his gaze down towards mine. Our eyes met.
“…Hey.” He said.
“…Hey.” I said in return. “…What’s up?”
“Nothing much.” He said, eyes still wide. “You?”
“Not really.”
“Oh. Cool.”
“Umm…what are we doing here?” I spoke what we had both been wondering.
“Well, you see…”
“Yoseob.” We heard a voice from outside. The doorknob began to turn. It was so frightening I saw it in slow motion.
“Holy crap!” Yoseob whisper-yelled, pushing me down under the covers.
I heard the door open and someone entered.
Yoseob P.O.V.
I stretched my arms innocently as if I was just waking up. “Hmm? Oh, hey Junhyung. You’re up early.”
“More like you’re up late.”
“AHAHAHA! OH JUNHYUNG! YOU’RE SO FUNNY!” I burst into laughter. I slipped my arms back down under the covers. I held Leah close to me so he wouldn’t notice the bump in my bed. She responded by encasing me in her arms again, pressing her cheek to my chest. I could feel her chest heaving on my stomach.
“Where’s Leah? I thought we were gonna go today.” He glanced around, almost as if he expected to find her in my room.
“She must’ve gone out shopping pretty early. She probably still has jetlag.” I suggested. God I was smart.
“Okay, well, we’ll all get ready while we wait for her. Just letting you know that the shower is open.” He his heel to leave.
“Thanks.” I smiled. He looked back at me suspiciously, to which I responded with an even bigger grin. When the door closed, I threw the covers off my and Leah burst up as if she was coming up from underwater.
“Paah!!” She inhaled deeply.
“Ahhh Leah! I’m so sorry! I-I panicked!”
“No, it’s okay. It was the right thing to do.” She looked at me. “Why do really awkward things happen when I’m with you?” She arched a brow.
I laughed heartily. “I really don’t know.”
