"What? No, of course not!"
"Because, it seems like you've been acting a little weird around me."
"Weird? Who's weird? I'm not weird." I said hastily.
"See what I mean?" He winked. A serious look settled on his face. "But really, Leah, did I do or say something. Is it because of...All the accidents that happen when we're together?" He asked hesitantly.
That made me smile. "No." I said softly.
"Then what?" He hedged.
"Nothing it's just..." I removed my legs from his lap and sat up, as far away as I could from him. "Dujun...said something to me."
"What did he say? If it was bad I'll--"
"No, no, nothing like that. He just had noticed....that we've been spending a lot of time together." I looked at my feet, unable to look in his eyes.
"We have. What's wrong with that?" He said matter-of-factly.
"Nothing, it's just....He sort of made me start thinking..."
"Think what?"
I inhaled deeply. Don't say it, don't say it, don't-- "He had just been wondering if I...If I l-liked you."
"Well you do, don't you?" Goddangit why was he so innocent and adorable?
"I mean like--"
"Oh. You mean like that." He finally seemed to understand.
"Y...Yeah."
"Well..." He scooted closer to me. "Do you?"
"I...I...I don't know." I sputtered. "I..." I tried to search for something to say, but there wasn't anything.
"Well...I think I like you."
That made me look straight at him, eyes wide. "You do?"
"I think." He chuckled. "You make me think Leah. You make me want to be better."
"I...How could I--?" I stopped speaking when he rested his hand on mine, but I couldn't tear myself away from his eyes.
"You're amazing Leah. You make me happy."
I stared into his eyes and he into mine...It felt like we were flying, maybe we were.
And I knew we were when he kissed me.
At first, I was in shock, his lips against mine, so gentle, so soft. Finally, I closed my eyes and let myself go. He made the kiss deeper, and deeper, until--
"AAHHHH!" We heard a scream and instantly broke away from each other. It was Dongwoon, whos scream was soon muffled by Dujun's hand.
"Sorry, sorry. Didn't mean to interrupt." Dujun said as he dragged Dongwoon away.
Yoseob P.O.V.
I can't believe I just kissed her. Was that too bold, too fast? She looked away from me, and obvious blush crawling up her cheeks. I felt my cheeks heat up as well. My first kiss...
"Was...Was that your first kiss?"
"It was, actually." She murmured. Wow, so we were each other's firsts. It made my heart balloon. "Well...now what?" She asked.
"Hmm...We could do it again." I smiled mischeviously. I leaned in closer to her. Her head whipped towards me and she was staring at me intently.
"Okay!" She suddenly smiled and then pecked my lips very quickly. "Hey Yoseob, what does this mean?"
"Huh?"
"Does this mean we're going out, or dating, or..." Here she gulped. "Boyfriend and girlfriend?"
Those words made coming from her made my ears red. "I don't know. I never really asked you out."
She stared at me again.
"What?" I asked.
"I don't know." She shrugged. "I guess I just thought, since you..."
"Oh." I smiled. "Leah, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Hmm, let me think about it." She took a few moments. "Okay!" She sprang on me and wrapped her arms around me. "I can't believe it!"
"What can't you believe?" I was genuinely curious.
"Me? A girl like me? With a guy like YOU? It's too good to be true!" She squealed. "I'm so lucky!" She punched her hand in the air.
While she was being extremely cute, which I liked, I couldn't help but be slightly annoyed. Didn't she realize how wonderful I thought she was? "Leah, stop." I demanded.
"Stop what?" She smiled at me, oblivious.
"Putting yourself down."
This made her smle dissappear. "I...I can't help it...It's just part of who I am. I'm not...I'm not, special in any way, and--"
"You stop it right now, or I'm breaking up with you." I wagged a finger at her.
"What? No!" She grabbed onto my arm. She seemed to seriously think I was going to break up with her, she started fretting and babbling. She was too fun to mess with, so cute. "Leah, Leah, it's okay. I'm not gonna break up with you."
"Oh. Whew." She wiped her hand over her forehead. "That was a close one."
"You really care about me don't you?" I couldn't help but smile.
She looked down at her hands on mine. "Yes." She whispered.
I moved our hands so mine were encasing her little doll ones. "We're going out now." I said. "Seal it with a kiss?"
She smiled and leaned in, kissing me softly. She tightened her fingers around mine. One of her hands removed themselves and moved up to my cheek. She pulled away, barely. "This is amazing." She said.
"Tell me about it." And I kissed her once more.
