With an irritated groan, you smashed the alarm clock into pieces with your…enhanced vampire strength. Rolling out of bed with messy hair and flimsy pajamas, you blindly made your way to the bathroom to wash up.

Damn you Him Chan! You changed my alarm clock song again!

After showering and brushing your hair (so that you didn’t look like you went through hell and back), you glanced at the newly ironed and clean uniform hanging in your closet. Sighing, you grabbed it by the hangar and started wearing it reluctantly.

Back at Sukira High, we didn’t have to wear uniforms…

The uniform was a button up white dress shirt and a navy blue blazer that had the school’s emblem sewed onto the right pocket. The white dress shirt was tucked into a plaid skirt that reached your slightly above the knee. It wasn’t all that bad but it felt to preppy for your style. You rolled on black knee high socks and tied your hair into a sideways fishtail braid with a matching plaid bow to keep it together. Applying a little bit of lip gloss (to not make your pale pink lips look too pale like you were dead) and mascara, you grabbed your white satchel that also had the school’s emblem on the flap and swung it across your shoulder. When you glanced at the clock, your eyes widened.

“Oh, !” You cursed and ran out of your room, speeding to the kitchen. In the kitchen, there were about multiple chefs and maids in there preparing food for your family. They were all shocked to see you rush through the kitchen and grab a freshly baked cinnamon muffin before running out the back door.

“Oh, man, I so do not want to be late for the first day.” You groaned and you continued running towards the gates of your mansion.

“Please do not step on the grass, madam.” The automated voice called out to you but you ignored it as you ran while finishing the cinnamon muffin. You ran through the freaking lawn more than a billion times before anyway.

“Screw you!” You called in reply to the automated voice. In the midst of your rush, you typed in the wrong code twice causing you to scream in frustration. Finally, you typed in the right code and you bolted out of the door. You smiled at your motorcycle which was parked in front of you as you had ordered last night.

“Thank you, Mr. Kwon!” You yelled, knowing he would have heard you due to his enhanced hearing ability. You quickly placed your helmet on and kicked the stand up. Straddling your motorcycle, you wasted no time in speeding off. The school wasn’t as near to your house as Sukira High was but in the speed that you were going, you reached there in ten minutes tops unlike the usual thirty minutes. You were lucky there weren’t any police on patrol this morning.

You saw the school up ahead of you and you sighed in relief behind your helmet’s visor. Slowing down a little, you saw that you still had ten minutes to spare before the gate closed. Golden words that spelt out ‘Welcome to Epik High School for the Mythical’ welcomed you above the gate. Many other female students dressed in the same uniform as you made their way to school. The males wore the same attire as you just with khaki pants (obviously).

Well, I guess this is it. Goodbye Sukira High, BAP, and Min Ji. Hello Epik High School for the Mythical.

You turned into the school and you felt a lot of eyes on you. You shrugged mentally, thinking it was because you were unfamiliar around here. You parked in a space for motorcycles and saw that you were the only one parked there.

Or maybe it’s because I’m the only one who owns a motorcycle at this school…

You kicked the stand down and swung your leg over the motorcycle while taking off your helmet. As you did so, you shook your hair out and fixed it properly using the side mirror of the motorcycle. Immediately you felt more stares coming your way. Sighing inwardly, you pushed the nervous feeling in your stomach away and held your head up high to not seem like you were afraid that you were the new student.

“Nice ride.” A female voice commented next to you and you spun around to see a brunette with platinum blond highlights as well as three other females behind her. Two of them wore the uniform loosely while the other two wore the uniform properly.

“Kamsahamnida.” Your guard was up and you eyed them suspiciously. One of them with dark brown hair stepped forward with a bright and friendly smile on her face.

“Annyeonghaseyo, you must be the new student, Min Ji and Yong Guk oppa told us about.” The girl offered a hand for you to shake and you cocked your head in confusion. It suddenly hit you.

“Hey, if a pretty girl with dark brown hair comes up to you and she mentions my name, be nice to her. She’s a friend and she has three others who will help you. She’s your age by the way.”

You remembered Yong Guk telling you about that the day before and you also remembered teasing him that he had some kind of secret girlfriend and that they couldn’t date because of the school rivalry. You stared at the girl and then at her hand before accepting it and smiling back at her.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Han Eun Mi imnida.” You introduced yourself and she brightened considerably.

“Annyeonghaseyo, Eun Mi, Song Ji Eun imnida. And this is Secret, my best friends.” She introduced.

“Jung Ha Na imnida, a senior and sister of Jung Dae Hyun.” The brunette with blonde highlights smirked at you.

“I’m the leader, Jeon Hyo Sung. I’m also a senior and cousin of Yong Guk and Min Ji.” She had short light brown hair and she winked at you with a charming smile.

“Han Sun Hwa imnida. Nice to meet you fellow Han!” The last and tallest of the group with long caramel colored hair greeted you with a grin and a distinct Busan accent. You couldn’t help but giggle at her adorableness.

“As much as I would love to talk, we’d better go get her signed up and checked in before school starts.” Hyo Sung directed you from behind to the front doors of the school.

After getting signed in and checked in by the secretary who told Ji Eun and Sun Hwa to tour you around and lead to class since both were in the same class as you, they showed you to your new locker and allowed you to place your bag and things inside before continuing on. While you were chatting with them as they sat around you in class, a large crowd of screaming girls outside perked your interest. You glanced outside to see that a mass of girls were screaming and shoving each other to see something or someone desperately. It was slightly amusing and you would have laughed but you were too curious to do so.

“What’s going on?” You asked Ji Eun curiously as you saw her expression darken along with Sun Hwa’s.

“Didn’t Yong Guk oppa tell you about them?” Ji Eun glanced around warily and you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion.

“What are you talking about?” Sun Hwa and Ji Eun leaned closer and their voices turned into whispers.

“EXO, have you heard of them?” Sun Hwa whispered.

“Eun Mi let me warn you. There’s these group of guys called EXO. There are twelve of them and they are all werewolves. They are also all sons of the Alpha of the werewolf kingdom. They are our rivals and we know how capable and dangerous they are. Beware of them.”

You remembered Yong Guk’s warning and you glanced outside once more to see that the crowd of females had not subsided but grown despite the start of school in a few minutes.

“Um, yeah, of course. Yong Guk did say something about them but I didn’t expect them to be that popular.” You cocked your head, trying to catch a glimpse of them.

“Well, now you know. They are this school’s Kingkas. And if B.A.P is popular in Sukira, EXO is their equivalent if not more. Just beware of them alright? Their father is the king of werewolves and he is the school’s major funder. They’re capable of anything and getting away with it as well.” Ji Eun warned you. You nodded in understanding but still kept your gaze outside. It seemed that one of the boys had persuaded the girls to leave them and the crowd of rabid females dispersed slowly.

Then twelve handsome boys came to you sight and you narrowed your eyes at them. With your keen eyesight, you could spot a crescent moon tattoo on the side of their necks. They all headed up the steps and you couldn’t see them anymore. Blinking once and shaking your head, you turned to face the front of the class just when the teacher arrived.
