Kyuhyun is studying math in the living room when Jessica gets home. Noticing her swollen face, he immediately stands up but before he could take a step forward, Jessica suddenly throwing herself to his arms. Even though he is a bit shocked, he quickly hugs her back and pats her back.

“What happened?” He asks worriedly, but she doesn’t answer and just crying harder.

She never thought there will be time when she is being comforted by Kyuhyun, of all the people in this world.  But right now, nothing seems matter anymore. Anyone is fine, as long as they are human. After sitting down on the couch, she starts telling him everything in which Kyuhyun weirdly listening rather intently. But he doesn’t look surprised at all. He just sighs.

“So you finally found out..” He says whilst leaning back on the sofa.

Her eyes widen, so he already knew?

He catches her expression, knowing she needs an explanation. “Taeyeon… is Lu Han’s ex-girlfriend.”   

She stares at him intently, wanting more explanation.

He sighs again, “are you sure you want to hear this?”

She immediately nods. She really wants to know Lu Han’s past. She just realizes that she doesn’t know anything about Lu Han. Nothing at all.  

“Taeyeon is his first love,” He says without waiting for her to get ready for whatever it is to come.

She bites her lips. First love sounds so painful to hear. And definitely not a good start of this story. But she doesn’t say anything and let Kyuhyun keeps going.

“Taeyeon was our senior in middle school,” He looks at the ceiling, as if all the memories replaying there. “Lu Han was a quiet and shy kid. I was his only friend, just because we were coincidentally seatmates. When he got into basket ball club, he suddenly got popular and Taeyeon came. She was the exact opposite of Lu Han, so bright, easy-going, friendly, and confident. That’s probably why he got attached to her. She was something that Lu Han always wanted to be.” Kyuhyun takes a deep breath and continues his story, “They were always together and Lu Han finally changed. Maybe it’s true that you would resemble a person you love, because it happened to him
