Lexi's outfit for this chapter :)

After few days and medical tests, I'm finally out of the hospital. I didn't know if I should be excited or what. We had to exit at the hospital's back door to escape from the media and fans. Everything feels new to me, good thing Reca-unnie is always there to support me.
 

"Everything okay, Lexi?" Reca-unnie asked when she noticed me being quiet and a bit fidgety while we were in the elevator to the 2NE1 dorm.
 

"Yeah, it's just everything felt new to me..." I honestly said.
 

"Don't worry, if you need anything you know I just live next door..." Reca-unnie smiled.
 

"You live next door?" I asked almost excitedly from relief.
 

"Yeah..." She said with an assuring nod. Then the elevator stopped on the right floor and we went straight to the dorm. Reca-unnie punched in the combination to the door and let me in first.
 

"Surprise!" Was all I heard the moment I stepped in the dorm. All 2NE1 members were there holding a banner that says "Welcome Back!" Jiyong, Daesung, Seungri, Top and Youngbae were also there, together with some managers and stylists.
 

"Oh my gosh..." Was all I could say.
 

"Minky-ah give Lexi the flowers..." Dara-unnie told the younger one.
 

"Unnie, these are for you..." Minji chirped and handed me a bouquet of my favorite flowers, white roses.
 

"Thank you..." I said in awe; I was so stunned that I could only manage to say short phrases.
 

"Were you surprised?" Chaerin asked excitedly.
 

"Yes, totally..." I answered. "Who planned this?"
 

"The four of us of course, but it was Youngbae's idea..." Bom unnie replied.
 

"Thank you guys! You shouldn't have... Thanks Bae..." I turned to Youngbae to thank him and he winked at me in return.
 

"Hey baby girl!" Of course it was Top, he then engulfed me into a hug. "How are you?" He asked when he released me from his hug.
 

"I'm good, thanks for being here..." I said genuinely.
 

"What kind of brother I am if I won't be in your welcome party..." Top smirked that made me chuckle. Then I noticed a unusually quiet guy with panda eyes. His eyes won't meet mine the moment I looked at him and that made me chuckle some more.
 

"Yah, Seungri-ah..." I called my dongsaeng. He then looked at me and slowly approached me. Even though he could be cocky and playful most of the time, this time his eyes were full of guilt. "Yah, aren't you going to welcome your noona?"
 

"Welcome back Lexi-noona, and I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have called you that night..." Seungri said without even breathing in between.
 

I couldn't help but chuckle. "Aigoo, gwenchana... Come here..." I said as I opened my good arm for a hug. He then returned my hug. "I'm not mad or angry arraso? Well maybe a little…" We both chuckled.
 

Everyone applauded when they saw us hug. Seungri is like a younger brother to me even though we bicker from time to time.
 

"Okay everyone let's dig in!" Jiyong announced. Everyone then went to the table and started to get their food and eat. Every food on the table was my favorite, like spaghetti with meatballs, buffalo wings, fish and chips and my favorite double chocolate cake for dessert.
 

This is just so heartwarming, they all said how much I am missed and all were concerned about my memory. They all said their fair share of funny stories with me and recalled it for me. Like when our gym trainer caught Bom-unnie and I while eating muffins at the parking lot because we were so hungry and we were supposed to be on a diet. She said we spent hours in the gym because of that as a punishment. It was funny how animated she recalled the story for me. Little later people started to leave because of their schedules; it was only Seungri, Youngbae and their managers who were left in our dorm.
 

"Want some fresh air?" Youngbae who was sitting beside me on the sofa nudged me.
 

"Sure..." I nodded and got on my feet and went to the veranda with the view of the city and the purple sky. It's almost summer and this is the kind of weather I always wanted; it's not too cold or too warm.
 

"I love this kind of weather..." I said; breaking the silence as I leaned on the steel railing of the veranda.
 

"Yeah, me too..." Youngbae smiled.
 

"Youngbae-ah, thanks for everything... I can't enumerate it all but thanks, and for this party. It's really heartwarming..." I said honestly.
 

"You know you're always welcome..." Youngbae said with his signature eyes-smile that I always love.
 

"I wish I could somehow repay your kindness..." I said with a slight pout.
 

"You don't have to, just make sure to get really well and of course, your memory back..."
 

I chuckled lightly remembering about the memory thing. To me, I'm still in a dream; I am still the "Executive Stylist Lexi". I guess my grandfather just wanted me to experience the "what if's" of my life that's why this is happening to me.
 

Then again, curiosity about Youngbae quitting to as an idol struck me. "Youngbae-ah, can I ask you something?"
 

"Be my guest..." He said.

 

"Why did you quit? Being a singer was your dream right? What happened?" I asked with my brows starting to crease.

 

"You know the answer..." Youngbae chuckled, but I slowly shook my head to a no. He sighed. "I'm sorry I forgot about the amnesia thing... Let's just say I got envious and inspired to this new trainee who loves going to college so much. She finished college even if she had busy schedules." Youngbae explained. I narrowed my eyes at him; trying to process what he just said. "I'm talking about you Lexi. You encouraged me to finish college but I had to quit being an idol because I often lack time for practices and what not."
 

My mouth fell hanging open with what he just said. "I-I'm sorry Bae..."
 

"Why are you apologizing? It's not like I don't like my life now..." Youngbae smiled genuinely. "I actually love it. It’s my choice. I have a quieter life, people still recognize me, my compositions are hit, I still work for YG, what else..." Youngbae thought. "In fact I should thank you for doing so, and you were always there to support me..."
 

"Naaahhh..." I gave a faint laugh. "I just wish you're happy..." I said with a slight pout out of guilt.
 

"Of course I'm happy chubby cheeks!" Youngbae chuckled as he pinched my cheeks.
 

"Yah!" I exclaimed and swatted his hand with my good hand which made him chuckle some more.
 

"So, are you ready to face everything Miss Kang Lexi?" Youngbae asked with a slight smirk.
 

I sighed. "I don't know really, but I'm trying..."
 

"Don't worry; I'm always here whenever you need anything. And just so you know, the guys and I live at the next building. So if you need anything, we’re just a phone call away..." Youngbae smiled.
 

"Thanks a lot Youngbae, I'm really glad you're here..."
 

"I should've counted how many times you've thanked me today..." Youngbae chuckled, revealing his signature eyes-smile. "Oh, before I forgot, there's something I want to tell you..." Youngbae was about to say something but he was stopped short when suddenly CL came and called me.
 

"Lexi-unnie, a delivery just came in for you..." CL said while holding a huge bouquet of different flowers.
 

"Omona..." I was amazed on how big the bouquet was. It was too big that CL couldn't hold it with one arm. What more if I'd hold it when my right arm is on a cast? Youngbae then took the bouquet from CL to help her. "Who is it from?" I asked.
 

"I don't know, but there's a card..." CL said and pointed where the card is. I took the card and opened it. CL scooted closer to me to see who it is from.
 

"Dear Lexi, Welcome Back! I'm sorry I couldn't be at your party. I promise to make it up to you. See you soon! Jay" The card read.
 

"Aiooo... It's from Jay-oppa!" CL almost squealed. "Unnie, are you guys going out?"
 

"Chaerin-ah, how should I know when I couldn't remember anything? And it's impossible..." I said.

 

"Why not? You guys look good together!" Now CL is squealing like a fan girl.

 

"Aiyoo... Andwae, we're just good friends..." I defensed. I don't really see myself going out with Jay, but I'd rather see myself go out with this mohawked-guy beside me.

 

"Aiyoo, arraso... Youngbae-oppa, why don't you give me that and I'll put it on a vase..." CL said and took the bouquet from Youngbae before leaving us again.

 

I chuckled while shaking my head as I watched CL left us. Oh I remember Youngbae was about to say something a while ago. "What were you saying a while ago?" I asked him.
 

"W-what, what was that?" Youngbae stuttered.
 

"The one before CL came here. You said you wanted to tell me something..." I said. You can hear the eagerness from my voice to know what he was going to say.
 

"Oh that, some other time I guess..." Youngbae said without looking at me. He just stared far out to the purple sky. You could say I’m a bit disappointed but I just let him be, maybe this isn’t the right time. But I couldn’t help but notice his sudden change of mood after CL gave me the flowers from Jay. I also remember that Youngbae also had a sudden change of mood when Jay came to visit me in the hospital. Is Youngbae jealous of Jay? If so, why?
