Lexi's outfit for this chapter :)

Blackness enveloped my eyes but I could sense flashes of white light over me, as if flashlights were being lit directly to my eyes. I heard the wailing of a siren, clinking of metal tools, people talking that I can't comprehend, I could also feel myself being moved. The siren I heard kept on wailing until I felt myself being moved again at the count of three. White lights kept on flashing before my eyes but I couldn't see or recognize anything. I felt stinging pain on the right side of my head. I tried to move but it's as if there's some weight pressed on me; on the right side of my body to be exact. 

It was always a best effort for me when I tried to do something, but to no avail, I still couldn't wake myself. I made multiple attempts when I felt warm lights on my closed eyelids and slowly, I tried to open my eyes again for the nth time.

Everything was white, except the few flowers and get well soon cards on a table and the warm yellow light that was coming from the window. It's morning now. I knew right then and there that I am in a hospital...again. How long was I out?

Again, I found my right hand in a cast and sling. A part of my head was wrapped in a gauze. I looked at my left and found my hand being held by a familiar figure. Her hair was  brunette with some strikes of gray and wavy, her hand holding mine while her head laid on her other hand; sleeping soundly. I smiled on her peaceful sight.

"Mom?" I tried to say, but my voice was inaudible and hoarse. I cleared my throat and tried to call her again. "M-mom..." She then moved and opened her eyes then looked at me. Her eyes grew wide to see me awake. Then she smiled happily.

"My baby girl, you're awake..." She said happily; she tried to smile even though tears started to pool in her eyes. "Wait, the doctor has to see you..." She said as she wiped her tears and pressed a button from the controls at the side of my hospital bed. With just a few seconds, a doctor and a nurse showed up and started to check me. While doing so, the doors opened and entered Reca-unnie with two tall men in casual clothes but was wearing sunglasses and hats.

"Dae! Top!" I managed to say, beaming at them. My mom too smiled at them as if they already know each other.

"Oh! Baby girl, you're awake!" Top exclaimed as he shook Dae.

"Noonim!" Dae too exclaimed.

"Ssshhh..." Reca-unnie shushed them.

"Chosonghamnida..." They all said with a slight bow and went to the sofa to seat.

"Ms. Kang, we should try it again... Inhale please..." The doctor said as he pressed the stethoscope at my upper back, he was obviously distracted when they came in. The nurse that was charting me was also distracted by their presence, making the doctor call her attention. The doctor put down his stethoscope to his neck and told something to the nurse, which she jotted down on my chart. The doctor then turned back to me. "Welcome back Ms. Kang. Don't force yourself too much. You've been unconscious for almost a week. Do you remember what happened Ms. Kang?" He asked gently, as if I were a kid.

"I... I was in an accident..." I stuttered; obviously shocked to know that I was out that long. The doctor nodded, indicating me to continue. "I was with Youngbae... Where is he? How is he?" I asked remembering him with me.

"He's okay Lexi, just few scratches here and there. But he's okay..." The doctor answered me. The words were so familiar, I could remember the last person who said those words, Halabeoji.

"He was able to jump off the motorcycle before it could hit the lamp post..." Top butted in, scrambling my thoughts.

"Motorcycle?" I asked confused, trying to recall things. The last time I could remember I was riding a motorcycle with Youngbae was when... Oh I'm back... My eyes started heat up and soon enough, tears started to stream down my cheeks.

"It's okay Lexi dear, calm down..." My mom cooed and patted my back.
 

A little later my mom left to eat and left me with Top, Dae and Reca-unnie. Suddenly, someone knocked, and Reca-unnie got the door.

"Delivery for Ms. Kang Lexi..." A man said, holding a bouquet of different flowers. Reca-unnie signed the delivery for me and took the flowers from the courier.

"Lexi, these are for you..." Reca-unnie smiled as she handed the flowers to me. Top and Dae looked at me and the flowers curiously.

"Who is it from?" Top nosily asked. I then took the card and read.

"Lexi, Get well soon baby doll. Hope to see you soon and catch up over coffee...Jay Park" I have to admit, I couldn't help but blush.

"Why is he calling you baby doll? I'm the one calling you baby girl..." Top hissed playfully. Again, someone knocked and Reca-unnie got the door again.

"Flowers for Ms. Kang Lexi..." Another courier said. This time it was a bouquet of my favorite flowers, white roses.

"Who's that from this time?" Top asked. I then took the card and read:

"Get well soon. I'm sorry... YB" It read. It was short but I couldn't help but smile at the beautiful white roses that I'm holding.

"Why do you look so happy noonim? We're the ones who are personally here..." Daesung rambled which made me chuckle. I put down the bouquet at the side of my bed, focusing back my attention to them.

"Of course, I'm happy that you guys are here. Thanks for visiting me guys..." I said sincerely.

"What kind of brother am I if I won't visit my baby girl?" Top scoffed jokingly.

"We're all worried about you Lexi-noonie..." Dae cooed.

"H-how's Youngbae?" I asked almost hesitantly.

"He's alright, he just got out of the hospital 3 days ago... But he's alright. He was just confined for two daysdue to Hyunsuk-hyung's insistent." Dae confirmed.

"Youngbae too was worried about you. He wanted to visit but he was told by our managers to stay indoors for a while..." Top said, obviously living out some detials.

"S-sajangnim, was he angry?" I asked worriedly.

"Well you know him, he got angry but he's more concern with your recovery. We're family here remember noonim..." Daesung said. I tried to smile with what Dae had said. I still want to find out myself. Worst case possible is that I'll be fired.

I'm sorry for giving you guys mini heartattacks with the previous chapter's cliff hanger :)

I just want to leave out some suspense or something :)
