Lexi's outfit for this chapter :)

"Lee Seunghyun, where are we going?" I complained for the nth time. Seungri didn't let go of my good wrist from the time he dragged me to god knows where.

"Ssshhh... I want to surprise them..." Seungri grinned at me excitedly.
 

"Can you just let go of my hand please, it's starting to hurt..." I whined. I only have my left hand to use normally and I'm afraid it might break too with Seungri's dragging.
 

"Fine..." He said with a dramatic sigh, rolling his eyes off me as he released my wrist from his hold. "Mianhe, but we're here..." He excitedly said and held the door knob of a studio. Without any sound, Seungri managed to open the door slowly. Then we heard someone talking, a voice of the person I really miss and really wanted to see.
 

"I guess it's better for Lexi to leave and recover with her family at the States. They have advanced medical facilities there, she'll recover sooner. And she'll be having an apprenticeship with Jeremy Scott anyways. It'll be better for her, it'll be the best for her..." He said continuously and spontaneously, like he's so decided. My heart sank the moment I heard those words. So it's okay for Youngbae for me to leave. I guess I am really nothing for him but just his coordi-noona, his stylist, a friend.
 

"YB and GD recording here!" I heard Jiyong's voice behind the door. It only confirmed that it was Youngbae who spoke those words. Seungri froze from where he was standing and looked at me worriedly.
 

I couldn't say anything, I gave Seungri a faint smile and just walk away in a fast pace until I was running. I heard him then run after me. My eyes instantly heated up and soon tears streamed down to my cheeks.
 

"Noona~~~" I heard Seungri called for me. But my feet just won't stop from moving and I just kept on running until I bumped into someone.
 

"Baby girl..." It was Top, he held me by my shoulders and bent down to my height to look at me. "W-what happened?" He asked worriedly. I sniffed un-lady like and looked down to my feet.
 

"Noona!" Seungri called as he was running after me.
 

"What have you done Lee Seunghyun?" Top said looking at Seungri.
 

"I didn't do anything!" Seungri defended with his both hands raised in surrender. Top cocked an eyebrow at him. "I swear!"
 

Here we go again at the parking lot and hiding behind the huge idol vans with Top but with a new tag-along, Seungri. I clutched the water bottle they gave me earlier, half the contents gone after my crying fit. I told Top what happened and what we've heard and he wasn't really convinced.
 

"I'm gonna talk to Youngbae." Top straightened up his stand and readied his heels to go. But I grabbed his arm and stopped him.
 

"No, don't. What's the point? I mean what are you going to tell him? To look at me like how I look at him? Just please don't..." I pleaded. I only released my grip from Top's arm when he gave me a curt nod.
 

"Are you guys sure that's what you heard?" Top asked with his eyebrows bunched in confusion. "But I saw how he treated you, how he looks at you. It's really different from other girls."
 

"It doesn't really matter anymore... Our deal is off, you have to call me unnie for the rest of your life..." I smirked and tried to joke.
 

"What deal?" Seungri butted-in.
 

I gave a faint laugh. "It's a ridiculous deal that Top and Jiyong made up. I have to call you guys oppa for the rest of my life if they can prove that Youngbae likes me. And you guys have to call me unnie for the rest of your lives if I can prove that Youngbae doesn't really like me." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"And I wouldn't make that deal if I didn't sense something from Youngbae towards you..." Top started to ramble. "...and Jiyong, his best friend if I may add, supported that deal... And he was convinced that you were gonna loose!"

"Does Daesung hyung knows about this deal?" Seungri asked.

"Not yet, but we were going to tell you guys, of course..." Top assured Seungri.
 

"In behalf of Daesung-hyung, we're in!" Seungri said and he made this fist bump with Top. I shook my head, watching their silliness.
 

"You guys are crazy..." I said with a faint chuckle or what came out like a faint snort.
 

"Wait, I hope this will help... Youngbae-hyung asked me to buy you flowers because he can't go out to give it to you personally when Lexi-noona was still confined in the hospital while he was told to stay in the dorms... Did you get the white roses?" Seungri recalled.

"See? Our deal's not off! I know those roses. We were there in the hospital when it was delivered!" Top clapped and exclaimed excitedly. As if he's some coach in a game and prepping his student for a bout.

"But how can he be so decisive with what he said? How can he say those words and know that it's best for me?" My voice almost cracked when I recall the things that Youngbae said earlier. Those words sting my chest repeatedly.
 

Top sighed in defeat when he saw how hurt I was. "So what's your decision? What's your plan?"
 

"I guess I'm just gonna have to talk with Sajangnim first and we'll see from there..." I said, shrugging my shoulder for the nth time.
 

I talked to my parents that same day. I found out that they're leaving for Seattle within a week. My parents has a business there and they can't be away for too long. Plus my my twin brothers can't miss school. I'm gonna miss them so much.
 

I decided to have an appointment with Sajangnim the following day. I patted my skirt for a quick fix when his secretary let me in his office.
 

"Good morning Sajangnim..." I greeted extra politely with a bow. Sajangnim was seated on his really posh office behind his office table. We are surrounded by his collection of limited edition toys that I don't really want to guess how much each one costs.
 

"Good morning Ms. Kang. Take a seat..." He said and gestured me on a chair. "I'm glad to see you standing..." He smirked, good thing he's on a good mood. "What can I do for you?" Sajangnim asked and placed down his pen on the table so his attention was focused to me.
 

"First I want to thank you for your time to see me today, I know how busy you are..." I said again with a slight bow.
 

"I always make time for urgency Lexi..." Sajangnim said with a slight smirk.
 

"I'm also here to thank you for paying for my hospital bills. I'll be forever thankful for that..." I continued.
 

"We are family here, aren't we?" Sajangnim assured me. "I can see that your arm is still on cast, is everything okay with you medical results?"
 

"Well, the cast has to stay for another two weeks..." I replied.
 

"Are you ready to report back to work by then?" Sajangnim asked, cutting me off. Report back to work? I was so surprised when he said that.
 

"S-so I still have my job?" I asked with wide eyes. I couldn't help but smile.
 

"Lexi, I may be strict but I'm not cruel..." Sajangnim said with an arched eyebrow. "It's an accident anyways..."
 

"Oh my gosh! Thank you Sajangnim! Thank you very much!" I had to suppress my happiness and celebrate inside. But a pang of reality or yesterday's happening hit me. Youngbae's words echoed in my mind; it hurts me and couldn't help but register in my face.
 

"Is everything okay Lexi?" Hyunseok Sajangnim asked in concern after noticing my sudden change of mood.
 

"Yes sir... It's just that..." I started, but I don't know how to explain things or I don't really know what to say. I couldn't say I'm in love with one of his artists, can I?
 

"I heard that your parents are living in a week. And I also heard about your apprenticeship with Jeremy Scott for the fashion week..." Sajangnim said when I don't know how to continue talking. "Does it had  something to do with that?" He asked.
 

I wanted to answer no or partially. My mind swirls on the truth and my heart felt those stings again. "I was thinking, if I'd go with my parents and be back right after my apprenticeship, will you still have me back?" I asked hopefully.
 

"You'll be gone for three months or so?" Sajangnim said as he tapped his chin with a finger; thinking.
 

"Just three months tops, sir." I assured him, but at the back of my mind, I started to think. Three months, maybe that's enough time to heal -not just these scratches on my arms or my right arm bound in a cast, but also my heart.
 

"I guess that's okay... To be quite honest, the media are also asking us about you. We've answered them on you're behalf because as an employee of this company, I believe we should represent you. But you are a private person, we also don't want to risk your privacy. Maybe in three months the issue will die down." Sajangnim explained. It's true, I heard the rumors about this and YGE was kind enough to speak in my behalf to the media.
 

I nodded in agreement with Sajangnim. "I understand Sajangnim and thank you for that."
 

"Okay, I'm considering your three months leave of absence for your healing and apprenticeship. But I want to see good results on your apprenticeship and reflect it here when you get back..." He said.
 

I smiled with a sure nod. "Yes sir, I promise I won't let you down."
 

"Alright then, make a letter for your three month absence, let me sign it and give it to the HR..." Sajangnim ordered.
 

"Yes sir, thank you! Thank you very much!" I said gratefully with a bow. A breath of fresh air welcomed me as I exited Sajangnim's office. I've never been this happy since I came out of the hospital. It's as if a huge burden was unloaded off my shoulders. Maybe Youngbae's right, maybe this will be better for me.
