Lexi's outfit for this chapter :)

Yesterday was a blast, Ji and Top treated everyone after the shoot yesterday to celebrate my internship for Jeremy Scott at Se7en-oppa's chicken restaurant. We went home really late, good thing it's my day-off today. AT LAST!!! I could stay in bed and be a lazy cat as long as I want. Or so I thought... The moment I snuggled more to my comfortable pillow, that's when my phone started to ring and buzz loudly on my bedside table. I lazily reached for it and opened an eye to see who the buzz killer is. I blinked my eyes to see the name clearer, and to my dismay, it's my dear cousin.
 

"Yeoboseo?" I answered in my lazy bedroom voice, still laying on my bed.
 

"Hey Lexi, I know today's your day-off but the other stylist had to attend to an emergency and we really need you right now to dress up the boys..." Reca-unnie said without even breathing in between. She's in her desperate but superior voice again.
 

"Well, good morning to you too..." I said sarcastically as I rolled my eyes off. Don't get me wrong, I really love my job, but I also need sleep!
 

"Get up now Lexi! Enough with the sarcasm!" Reca-unnie exclaimed. "I know you're rolling your eyes off now but you dress these guys really good that I couldn't just let anyone style them..." She continued. I just gave a sigh and rolled my eyes once again. My cousin just knew me too well. "C'mon Lexi, I promise you, you'll get all the sleep that you want after this..."

"Alright, alright, enough with the -ups... Where will the guys be this time?" I asked as I lazily got up from my bed.
 

"We're at SBS right now for their special stage at Inkigayo." Reca-unnie replied. "But you have to get some things first at YGE, it's the accessories for the boys and it's already prepared at the reception when you get there. Then a carpool will take you here. Got it?" She ordered.
 

"Ne, I got it. Let me hit the showers really quick and I'll be there..." I replied.
 

"Great!" Reca-unnie said. I could imagine her with her wide grin right now. "And oh Lexi, make it fast. The boys are about to arrive in an hour..."
 

"Okay, okay... I'm hanging up now..." I said and pressed end call button, then stuck my tongue out on my phone like a brat. Mehrong... 

As I stepped inside the posh YGE building, I went straight to the reception and found three huge accessory kits for the boys waiting for me. Yes, we need this much accessories for just a special stage performance. Good thing the carpool driver helped me to load everything in the van but he didn't help me to unload when he dropped me off at the SBS studios. I tried to call Reca-unnie to ask for some help but she's not answering her phone. So I slung my bag over my shoulders and stacked the 3 kits so I could hold them all at once. I didn't had breakfast or coffee even to perk me up, and not to mention my lack of sleep, so I had to muster all the energy that I have to carry everything. But the kits were huge and it's covering my walkway to the waiting room. Just when I was almost at the designated dressing room, I almost bumped into someone but I somehow tried to avoid him and swiftly turned to my right. But as I tried to avoid bumping with him the kit that was on top slid and fell open, scattering the accessories like rings, earrings, bracelets and what not at the hallway.

"Omona!" I exclaimed as I put down the two other kits and immediately gathered the other things.

"I'm sorry! Let me help you..." The guy that I almost bumped into frantically said and helped me. Good thing he was nice enough to apologize and help me gather the scattered accessories. Without bothering to answer him, I picked up everything that's on my sight. Not that I'm annoyed at him because of the incident, but because I wasn't in my brilliant self at that time. "That's everything..." He said with a friendly smile as he placed the last few pieces that he gathered inside the kit. But instead of thanking him, my jaw dropped in shock after finally realizing who was helping me all along.
 

"J-jay... Park..." I stuttered as I stared at him in shock. He just gave me a friendly smile and nodded.
 

"Yes, I guess that's me..."
 

"I-I mean, thank you! Thank you for helping me..." I managed to say. Oh gosh, why am I acting such a fangirl?! "I mean you didn't really have to help me... But thanks really..." I rambled nervously.
 

"Well, my parents taught me well so I really should help you..." He said with a little wink.
 

"Thanks to your parents then..." I said like the filter of my brain to my mouth got broken. Oh no, what am I saying?!
 

"I'd send them your thanks then..." Jay said with a light chuckle as I did too. But he suddenly squinted his eyes as he stared back at me and studied me. "You... you looked familiar..." He said. I suddenly felt uber conscious.
 

"Me?" I asked and pointed a finger at myself. Couldn't I be any more stupid when Jay's talking to me?
 

"Yeah..." Jay said as he stared at me more. "I remember now!" Jay suddenly exclaimed with a snap on his fingers. "Middle school! Seattle right?! Lexi! You're Kang Lexi am I right?" Jay said. Omona! He knows me! I'm confused but I nodded yes in reply. "How could you not remember me? Park Jaebeom? The one who got into detention with you when I laughed my off when Mrs. Fabre fell after tripping over your flute... Middle school and music class, ring a bell?"
 

"Omona!" I exclaimed. "Park Jaebeom! How could I not recognize you?! And how could you still remember that?" I said as I face palmed after remembering the embarrassing incident way back when.
 

"Who could forget a cute girl who can't hit a right note in music class?" Jay said with a chuckle.
 

I had to roll my eyes off him. "Yeah right... Go ahead rub it in..." I said with a blush.
 

"So how's it been? I didn't see you again after middle school..." Jay said like a casual conversation and forgetting all the rush that's going on.
 

"Well I went back here to finish my studies and took up fashion design..." I said.
 

"Then what brought you here at SBS studios?" Jay asked.
 

"Oh shoot! I almost forgot!" I exclaimed as reality hit me and remembering why I was here. "I'm an executive stylist for YGE and that's why I'm here to dress up Big Bang for their special stage today. I'm sorry Jay but I really have to go..." I said and stacked the kits again.
 

"So you're the infamous stylist that Taeyang talks about... Then let me help you bring those..." Jay said as he took two of the kits from me and turned his heels to the door that was labeled for Big Bang.
 

"No Jay, you don't have too..." I said as I tried to stop him.
 

"Well my parents will get disappointed if I don't..." He said with a slight smirk that no one could resist.
 

"Okay then..." I said and I just couldn't help but blush.
 

"Lexi! Thank god you're here! Did you bring the accessory kits?" Reca-unnie exclaimed when I opened the door to the dressing room. Following behind me is the helpful Jay Park who was carrying the other two kits for me.
 

"Noona, you're here?" My-pocket-full-of-sunshine-Youngbae beamed at me. "But isn't it your day off?" He asked in concern.
 

"Well yeah, but I had to go here... I have company though..." I said as I pointed my thumb to the person behind me. Youngbae looked past me and saw who I was talking about.
 

"Hyung!" Youngbae greeted Jay.
 

"Tae!" Jay gave a nod as recognition. "I would like to shake your hand but..." Jay said and looked down on his occupied hands or arms rather.
 

"Oh sorry, let me get that for you..." I said as I took the kits from Jay and settled it on a table. "Thanks so much for the help Jay..."
 

"No worries Lexi..." Jay assured me with a smile.
 

"You guys know each other?" Younbae asked as he looked at me and Jay and back to me again. Do I hear a hint of jealousy from his voice or my mind is just playing tricks on me? Ugh, dream on Lexi...
 

"Yep, we were "detention-mates" way back in middle school. Right Lexi?" Jay answered for us and turned to me with a chuckle.
 

"If that's what you wanted to call it..." I smiled and raised my hands in defeat.
 

"Sometimes I hang around with Tae at the YGE, I hope I could see you there..." Jay said expectantly.
 

"Uh, sure..." Was all I can reply.
 

"It was nice seeing you again Lexi..." Jay said and extended his hands to me.
 

"Same here and thanks again..." I said and took his handshake.
 

There was a bit strange aura in the dressing room while I was checking the boys' outfit during that day, especially with Youngbae. I know he's often quiet but he's been a lot more quiet today. I was really worried.
 

"Everything okay, Bae?" I asked as I fixed a multi-strap cuff bracelet on his wrist.
 

"Yeah..." Youngbae said in almost a quiet tone.
 

"Sure? You know you can always tell me..." I started. Bae was about to open his mouth and say something when Seungri butted in.
 

"So noona, you and Jay-hyung..." Seungri cooed.
 

"What about me and Jay?" I asked with an arched eyebrow.
 

"You tell me..." Seungri cooed again, making my eyebrow arch some more and stare down at him. "Is that why you always ignore my charm because you like his?"
 

"Ri? What are you talking about? Jay and I just met after some good years..." I defended with a little annoyance. "He's Jay Park for pity's sake and besides how could an idol like an ordinary person like me..." I rambled my mind off. Yeah, just like the mohawked guy in front of me...
 

"Aw, noona, it's too tight..." Youngbae complained. I was too preoccupied with my thoughts that I didn't notice that I was strapping the cuff too tight.
 

"Oh, I'm sorry Bae!" I said and hurriedly loosen the straps.

“Look, you’re even popular on twitter...” Seungri said as he showed his phone to me while pointing at the growing number of my followers.

“They only follow me because I work with you guys...” I rolled my eyes. But I have to say that I’m quite shocked.

“Let’s see, here... Lexi-unnie, I saw you at YGE building and I really like your outfit today.” Seungri read. “See, it’s not just because of us.”

“Let me see the others...” I said as I grabbed Ri’s phone. “Unnie, please hug the BigBang-oppas for me.” I started to read. “Lexi-unnie, please take a picture of TOP-oppa shirtless... Unnie could you hand my gift to Seungri-oppa? And there’s more... It’s not that I’m complaining but that’s the real reason why I have growing number of followers...” I rambled and handed Seungri’s phone back to him.
 

"Noona, don't underestimate yourself. You're pretty..." Daesung butted in suddenly.
 

"Yeah, Dae's right noona. You're actually too cute for your age..." Youngbae suddenly joined on our conversation even though he's been here all the time. I couldn't help but blush with his complement; I even tried to suppress a smile.
 

"There goes a blush..." Seungri teased as he poked my cheek.
 

"Yah, are you saying that I'm old? I'm only a year older than you!" I almost exclaimed as I swat Seungri's hand and hit Bae's arm and Dae's too, that earned a cute chuckle from Youngbae.
 

"Hey, what did I do?" Daesung complained as he rubbed his arm where I hit him.
 

"That's for butting in silly opinions..." I said as I stuck my tongue out. Mehrong!
 

"Guys be ready in 10!" Reca-unnie yelled.
 

"Ri, don't go disappearing again okay? And Dae, sit up straight..." I ordered them; with my years of experience working with them, I think I already know them too well. I then turned to Bae and smiled. "Perfect..." I said in almost a whisper as I help him wear a pair of sunglasses. He then smiled and stared back at me, like when he wanted to say something but he can't because he's either too shy or he just wanted to keep it to himself. "Do you want to share anything to the class Bae?" I jokingly asked. (END OF POV)
 

Youngbae smiled his signature eye-smile. "Noona..." He started. "I wanted to ask something..." He hesitantly said.
 

"Go on..." Lexi said encouragingly.
 

"Well, how do I start this..." Youngbae fidgeted. "Okay, there's this girl..."
 

*Okay, now I think I'm not ready to hear this...* Lexi told herself.
 

"She's really nice, pretty and smart, but she's older than me..." Youngbae scratched a non-itchy part of his temple while Lexi tried to listen to every word that Youngbae was telling her, even though it was breaking her heart. "It's just that, I think she likes someone. Can you give me any advice from my situation?"
 

Lexi swallowed an invisible lump stuck on . "Do you really like her?" She managed to say.
 

"I do..." Youngbae said sincerely.
 

"Then she's really one lucky girl, Bae." Lexi said sincerely. "Bae, you're a good person, talented and tons of girls swoon over you." Lexi said in as-a-matter-of-factly way that made Youngbae chuckle shyly. "Maybe you should just man up your game... Show her that you like her, be a little adventurous, you know, show her that you're the one for her..." Lexi managed to say encouragingly.

"Time to record guys! C'mon!" Reca said, almost exclaiming at the entire room.
 

"That's your call..." Lexi winked at Youngbae.
 

"Thanks noona! Today's perf is for you!" Youngbae winked back, making Lexi's heart flutter even if it was slowly being torn a while ago.
 

(LEXI'S POV)

Right after Inkigayo, we all head back to YGE building. I'm already beat tired and I just wanted to sleep, but I still have to fix things before I could head home and rest. Just then when we were at the lobby, someone grabbed my arm and when I look out, it was Youngbae.
 

"Noona, let's go eat..." He said as he jerked his head to the building's exit.
 

"What?" I asked in confusion.
 

"I'm hungry, let's eat!" Youngbae smiled while still holding my arm.
 

"B-but we have a catered dinner at the cafeteria..." Why am I even stuttering?
 

"But I want dokbukki and fish cakes..." He said.
 

"I'll just go grab it for you, wait for me at the practice room..." I said with my heels ready to go, but he never released his hold on my arm.
 

"No, I want to eat there and get some fresh air..." He said with an expectant expression on his face.
 

"But Bae..." I sighed as he gave me a slight but cute pout. "Have you asked permission to your manager?" I asked in defeat, but he just grinned at me and didn't gave me an answer. Of course, that means NO... "Go ask for permission first and I'll go with you..." I said sternly; like I'm telling a kid to do so, but his face fell with my reply.
 

"Fine, I'll go by myself..." He said as he finally released my arm and turned his heels to the exit. But I just can't set him off like that. What if someone recognized him and mobbed at him? Even if he's wearing sunglasses and cap to disguise himself a bit, that doesn't mean no one will recognize him. That will be a big trouble. Maybe at least someone should go with him...  Fine! That stubborn mohawk guy!
 

"Bae, wait up!" I yelled and almost ran to catch him and took a hold of his arm. I felt his biceps tighten a bit with my touch; making my inner fangirl squirm before spinning like a pro-gymnast in my head.
 

Youngbae then smiled his signature eye-smile. "Let's go! There's a dokbukki shack nearby..."

(END OF POV)
 

"We could get in trouble here..." Lexi said as she popped a piece of dokbukki on .

"But you're still here..." Youngbae chuckled as he also did so. "Didn't you tell me to be a little more adventurous?"

"Alright I said that, but you should do it with the girl you were talking about..." Lexi said and muttered the last part of her sentence. But Youngbae just smiled.

"Thanks for the advice Lexi..." Youngbae said as he chewed his dokbukki. "I hope you don't mind if won't call you noona. I mean, we're friends right? And we're not working, I mean, we're not on work..." Youngbae rambled that made Lexi chuckle.

Yeah, friends... Ouch... "Yeah, sure..." She said and sighed. "Maybe we should head back now, they might be looking for us, I mean for you..."
 

"Alright..." Youngbae sighed. Just then when he got up from his seat...

"Taeyang-oppa?!" A girl screamed not a meter away from them. "It's Taeyang-opppa!!!" Another girl screamed again; taking everyone's attention, especially fangirls that were around the area.

"Uh-oh..." Lexi and Youngbae said in unison. The girl then ran to their direction with open arms ready to hug him, making the other fan girls join her and ran for Taeyang.
 

"Let's go!" Youngbae suddenly grabbed Lexi's hand and ran; taking her to god-knows-where as fast as he can.

"Youngbae they're following us!" Lexi panickily exclaimed as she looked back while Youngbae's dragging her to run.

"Oppa are you dating her?!"
"Youngbae-oppa!"
"Oppa! I love you!"
There were about five crazy fangirls screaming and running after them.
 

"Just run!" Youngbae exclaimed.  He then saw a motor scooter parked not too far from them. "C'mon Lexi run!"
 

Lexi then tried to keep up with Youngbae's pace; running as fast as she could and keeping a good distance from the crazy fans. Youngbae released Lexi's hand and started to take off his watch from his wrist. Then they stopped running when they reached the scooter.
 

"Hey kid, can I take your scooter in exchange of my watch? We're in a hurry please..." Youngbae begged without breathing in between while holding out his watch.
 

"Sure!" The kid said.
 

"Thanks!" Youngbae said as he handed the kid his watch and the kid handed him the keys.
 

"But that's Technomarine!" Lexi exclaimed and was truly shocked with their trade.
 

"We have no choice. C'mon hop in!" Youngbae ordered and Lexi did what she was told. She then rode the scooter and held tight on Youngbae's torso, like giving him a back hug. Little did she know he was smiling inwardly as he felt her hands holding onto him tightly. Youngbae then drove the scooter away to the mobbing fans that were following them.
 

"Oh my gosh, that was crazy!" Lexi exclaimed; earning a laugh from Youngbae.

 

"We lost them!" Youngbae exclaimed as well with his eye-smile and looked back. "We totally lost them!" He exclaimed again.
 

"Bae look out!" Lexi exclaimed and pointed to an incoming car that was about to hit them. Youngbae then immediately turned but swerved and got off balance. The next thing he knew, he was already going to hit a lamp post and the arms that were securely wrapped around him were no longer there.
