Lexi's outfit for Strong Heart episode ;)

Bom-unnie, Dara-unnie and I had an early wakeup call from our manager. We have to go to the YG building for hair, make-up and wardrobe before filming. This is my first media appearance after the accident and after telling sajangnim that I am ready. The three of us are going to SBS for a Strong Heart episode and I was told to share my experience during the accident.
 

*This would be pretty hard...* I thought. I don't even know what really happened. I sipped on my iced-mocha as I sat on a chair in front of lighted mirrors so that the make-up artists could do their magic. I started to recall the story that Youngbae had told me, how the accident happened as I stared at the beaded moist from my cup of iced-mocha. I didn't even notice that my make-up was done.
 

"Hey baby girl..." A deep voice suddenly interrupted my reverie. I glanced to my side and found Top sitting at the chair on my left, beside me. "You're going to dig holes on your cup if you keep staring at it..." He sang and checked himself on the mirror in front of him.
 

"Got any schedule today?" I asked just to start a conversation and so that he won’t ask what I am thinking at the moment.
 

"Naaah, I just heard that you'll be filming for Strong Heart today..." He said still checking himself. I chuckled as I watch him busy being vain. "You'll do great baby sis..." He continued with a quick glance at me.

 

"Thanks..." I smiled. "I'm still nervous though..." I said honestly and looked down on my knotted and nervous fingers. "Seunghyun-ah..." I started, making him look at me. "How do you do it? Being confident in front of the camera...?" I asked. Top smirked his signature smirk at me.
 

"You just asked the perfect person for an advice..." Another voice sang coming from the door. I saw Jiyong entering the room as I looked through the mirrors. Ji then sat on the right chair beside me, making me sit in between them. "So Top-shi, tell her the secret..."
 

"The secret is the mirror..." Top said and jerked his head to the mirror's direction. I narrowed my eyes at him questioningly.
 

"You see, you'll know what your right and perfect angle is when you look at yourself in the mirror..." Jiyong stated. "Try it..." He said and I did what I was told. "Now move your head a little to your right, then a little lower. Now twitch a little the left corner of your lips like forming a smirk..." Jiyong said, I gave him a bit ridiculed look but he just rolled his eyes off me so I just did what I was told. "Okay, then look at your eyes... That's your first facial angle..." Jiyong said like a pro-coach.

 

And magically I realized that it is a good angle for me. Now I remember Tyra Banks saying to keep on practicing with the mirror on ANTM! "Wow... What can I say? Thanks, I guess..." I said; almost lost for words.

 

Top chuckled. "Like I've told you, you'll be great..."

 

"Sorry guys, I have to take Lexi for wardrobe change..." The stylist-unnie said.

 

"Alright! Good luck!" Ji chirped.

 

"Laters baby girl..." Top gave me a little wave.

 

"Thanks guys!" I said and followed the stylist-unnie.

 

Well, they actually asked me what I wanted to wear. They said that I usually have my own style and they'd just give me options and wear what I want. After getting dressed up for the said show, I checked myself at the full length mirror while the other stylists were busy doing their thing and preparing for Dara and Bom-unnie.

 

I started to remember what Ji and Top taught me earlier. "Hey, you're looking good..." Bom-unnie chirped as she joined me looking at the mirror.

 

"Hi unnie, you looked good too..." I complemented the human porcelain doll.

 

"Nervous?" She asked, she looked like she knew me too well.

 

"Yeah... But I think I can handle this..." I said.

 

"Of course you can!" Dara-unnie chirped and joined us too. "We three are partners in crime! We can do this!" She said and slung her arms to our shoulders. I couldn't help but smile, I'm so glad that I have their support.
 

"Look who's back..." Someone said and I just know who owns it. I immediately looked back and found Bae smiling at me, I mean at us, with his hands on his pocket.
 

"Bae!" I almost exclaimed. I don't know what came into me that I ran to him and hugged him; wrapping my arms to his neck. It was comforting most especially when I felt his arms around me, returning my embrace. It felt like I needed his comfort now. When I got back to my senses, I awkwardly released him from my hug. "I-I'm sorry about that..." Now I felt heated blood coming up to my cheeks. Bae's smile never faltered but his ears were beet red.
 

"No need to apologize..." He smiled his signature eye-smile. "I just want to wish you luck... I know it'll be a little hard for you but I know you can do it..." Bae said sincerely. "Here, I have something for you to perk you up..." He said and handed me a dark chocolate bar.
 

"Thanks Bae..." I said genuinely.
 

"Just don't let SsaBu-hyung see you having those or else he might give you extra hours to the gym..." Bae chuckled.
 

"Yeah, tell me about it..." I said as I recalled the 'simple' workout he gave me a day ago as a part of my preparations for my comeback. "But thanks a lot Bae..."
 

"No problem..." Youngbae winked at me.

 

"Bom, Dara, Lexi, time to go!" Reca-unnie said.

 

"That's your call..." Bae said, and I just remembered that I also told him that line with the same situation.

 

I shrugged my shoulders and gave a curt nod and a small wave before leaving. Before exiting the door, I looked back at Bae and found him watching me leave and then smiled at me. Now it felt like I don't want to leave him there, I wish I could take him with me.

 

While we were in the waiting room at SBS and after retouching our make-up, my two ahjumma unnies cornered me. Their arms were folded to their chests with narrowed eyes at me.

 

"W-what's up unnies?" I asked a little taken aback.

 

"Aiooo... You tell us what's up..." Bom-unnie pouted. I saw Dara-unnie pursed her lip, trying to hold in her laugh. But Bom saw Dara and nudged her.
 

"Unnie, I can't act serious anymore..." Dara complained, she then started to loosen up and Bom followed her suit. "Lexi-ah, here's the gist. We saw how you hugged Youngbae a while ago..."
 

"Are you guys going out? Or in really good terms?" Bom-unnie asked but with concern.
 

*I wish we were...* I told myself honestly. "No..." I replied instead. "I guess we just spent most the time together since I woke up and I got comfortable with him... Am I in trouble?" I asked worriedly but they both chuckled.
 

"Of course not!" Bom-unnie giggled.

 

"We just want to know..." Dara unnie said and held my hand. "We're your unnie, and we just want you to know that we're here..." She said with a smile.
 

"Thanks..." I said. What else can I say, I really am touched.
 

"But Bom-unnie thought that you guys look good together..." Dara added which made me blush furiously.

 

"Do you like him?" Bom asked with her wide eyes. I think she already knows the answer to her own question.

 

"Ahjumma~~~?!" I whined and I couldn't help but blush some more.

 

"What? He's a good person and a cute guy for that matter..." Bom stated the obvious.

 

"Aiooo, you like him don't you?" Dara said with her wide eyes too. "I know you too well Kang Lexi... But if you ask me, I just think he likes you too..."
 

"Wae?! How can you say that?" I asked as if they're saying ridiculous things.

 

"How 'bout we make a little bet?" Bom-unnie started. "If we prove Youngbae likes you, Dara and I will call you ahjumma for the rest of your life. And if he doesn't, you have to call us ahjumma for the rest of our lives..."

 

The deal sounded too familiar, like the bet that I had with Top and GD in my real life. I chuckled at that thought.

 

"Deal?" Bom said with an arched eyebrow and stretched her arm for a handshake.

 

"Fine, deal..." I said and took her handshake, closing the deal.

 

"Aiooo... This would be fun!" Dara-unnie squealed.
 

The show's filming went well even if it took us most of the day and ended by almost midnight. It was tiring but it was fun. During our afternoon break, I enjoyed Youngbae's dark chocolate while resting. I also received a text message from Jay -which made me smile- saying 'Break a leg! Fighting Lexi-bong!'

 

I'm glad they didn't open up the topic about the accident, or else I might ramble out my words because I didn't really know what happened. I still believe that I'm still in a dream. The topic I shared was about the accident aftermath, the amnesia thing and the thought that I might not make it alive and might not comeback as a 2NE1 member made Bom and Dara unnie to tears. But laughter roared when I talked about my bawling when I first sang with Bom unnie at the recording booth. I was glad my unnies and the staffs were all supportive and would back me up when I have mistaken.
 

After all the jazz, despite the time being late, Bom and Dara-unnie decided to grab some late dinner or snack. For some reason my tummy started to rumble when they were deciding on where to eat. Our manager then decided to drive us to a small restaurant near YGE building.

 

I looked over the posh building and saw few lights on when I got off from our van. I started to wonder if Bae is still there. I miss him. I know my cheeks are flushed right now, especially when flashbacks of me hugging him earlier came to my mind.

 

"Lexi, what do you want to eat? We're ordering dokbukki..." Dara-unnie said, interrupting my reverie and bringing me back to the now.

 

"O-oh, can you add fish cakes to that?" I said.

 

"Oh yeah, fish cakes!" Dara-unnie beamed.

 

Just then I heard a familiar voice from a group that was coming out of the restaurant. "Yeah, sure, let's do this again. Just give me a call..." He said.

 

I knew who owns that voice, it's from my pocket full of sunshine, Youngbae. But things got cloudy when I saw him going out with a small group of dancers, including Jihye. I sighed at the thought that he could go out freely and not bothering that he could be on the papers or internet on the next few minutes. I watched him as they said goodbyes to each other. And the next thing I saw made me really frown; Bae and Jihye gave each other a one-armed quick hug.
 

"Hey, Lexi what's wrong?" Bom-unnie asked. She then looked at the direction I was looking at and sighed. Just then, one of the twin dancers recognized us and waved at us. Bae then looked to our direction and immediately beamed at us and started to approach us and leave the group. For some reason, my frown just won’t leave my face. Fine, I admit that I'm jealous when I don't have the right to be.

 

"Noona, what are you guys doing here?" Bae asked with a genuine smile. Although the three of us were his noonas, he directed his question to me.

 

I tried then to compose myself. "We just finished filming and decided to have some quick snack after." I answered rather plainly.

 

"You must be tired..." Bae's eyes was so soft and of concern. "Can I join you guys?" He asked expectantly. I looked over to Dara and Bom but they are on their way to a table they just spotted.

 

"Sure..." I said. I started to lighten up when he decided to join us. We then walked to the table where my unnies were.

 

He didn't eat with us but he stayed until we're done and chatted along as we eat. He even walked us to our dorm when we went back home.
 

"Thanks Bae we'll go ahead~!" Bom-unnie sang as they giggled and hurried their way to the elevators and leaving me with Youngbae. I just rolled my eyes off them and pressed the up button of the next elevator. When the door opened, we both entered then I pushed the right button to our floor.

 

"So how was filming?" Bae asked, breaking the silence.

 

"It was okay..." I replied a bit tired. For some reason I couldn't help not to remember his quick contact with Jihye earlier.

 

"Tired?" He asked again, this time I think he sensed there's something wrong with me. And for some reason, I couldn't make up an answer. The elevator then sounded to my floor. He sighed with worried eyes on me. "You should better rest..." He said as we went out and walked me to our door. "Lexi?" He called out my name which made me look at him. "I missed you today..."
 

Those words... Those words really brought a lunatic smile on my face. His smile was somewhat apologetic and sincere while mine was of a loony.

 

"Goodnight..." He said and turned to leave.

 

"Goodnight..." I responded in almost a whisper. I stared at his retreating back with still a loony smile plastered on my face and just then he looked at me over his shoulders.
 

"You should get inside Lexi..." He sang which startled me.

 

"Oh, right..." I hurriedly turned back and jiggled the doorknob and forgetting to punch in the passcode. I heard him chuckle lightly. I then punched in the passcode to unlock the door then hurried inside and closed the door behind me. *That's just totally embarrassing...* I told myself with my eyes closed and my back leaning on the closed door.

 

"Yah! Ahjumma!" Bom-unnie called out which startled me.

 

"I knew this would be fun!" Dara-unnie giggled. Turns out, they were listening behind the door. Couldn't this day be more embarrassing?!
