Sehun watched as his cousin turned away from him and curled her fists on the table.

“Married?” She muttered.

“Kai….what is he thinking?”

“Have you two spoken already?”

Minah shook her head.

“Did he tell you about this?” She asked.

“No. I just found out.”

“….He was so angry last night. I don’t even know why, maybe…maybe..”

“I don’t think so. Kai wouldn’t keep things from you, Meens.”

Minah frowned and looked at the framed photograph of her and Kai on her desk.

“..I don’t know, Sehun-ah.”

As soon as the news hit the media, it was like the incident about Kang Minah and her two timing never happened. Everything was forgotten.

Minho eyed his computer screen warily.

He didn’t know that his cousin was getting married. A part of him was confused about the sudden announcement but he was glad that Minah was finally free from all the gossip.

Kai looked at his phone, it has been vibrating endlessly ever since he entered the club. He frowned as he looked at the screen.

MEENS

He knew why she was calling. But he couldn’t bring himself to tell her everything. Maybe being in love with someone who was so close to you was also a difficult thing. Before he thought it was an advantage, but now it wasn’t. He spent the whole day yearning for her. He missed the way she would just pop in his office and bring coffee with her.

He looked at his half empty glass.

Marrying Hyojeong was never one of his plans. He never thought it would be that serious. He never thought that this would happen.

He felt tears line his eyes.

It was so frustrating. He couldn’t tell Minah because he might lose her.

“You’re already losing her.” A voice said behind him.

Sehun sighed and uncrossed his arms then sat beside his friend.

“Ignoring her won’t help.”

“Sehun~”

“Marrying Hyojeong wont help either.”

“I don’t want to.”

“Then why is it out to the public?”

Kai looked away.

“It was abeoji. It’s to save face for the Mins and the company.”

“And you actually listened to him?” Sehun grunted.

“No, I don’t intend to marry her, Sehun.”

“If you don’t plant to marry her….then..”

“I don’t want to lose Meens either.”

“What are you saying?” Sehun looked at him squarely.

“I’m going to let Meens go.”
