Minho – Inside Key’s Room

Finally, Minho has gained a lot of energy to visit Key’s house.
Going in, he meets Kris again this time, t the plants.
He greets him…

Kris:  
Good morning Sir Minho…!

Minho:          
(smiles) Good morning Hyung…

Kris:  
How’d it go…? You okay…?

Minho:          
(nods) Yeah… I guess am fine…

Kris:  
You cannot lie to me, Minho…
I know you too well…

Minho:          
That bad huh…?

Kris:  
Not really… But coping… yes…
(hanging up his plant scissor on the trunk)
Your eyes speak and show the truth…
They’re swollen…
Have you been crying…?

Minho:          
(embarrassed) No…

Kris:  
 (sighs) You are not a good liar Minho…

Kris grabs Minho’s arm and guides him to sit in one of the maple chairs at the garden area.

Kris:  
Did you spend a lot of your time….
Let see…
Almost 3 days inside your room crying and sleeping…?

Minho:          
(stunned that Kris knows) Ha…?
How did you know…?

Kris:  
(sighs) Am your neighbor and I can easily check your window.
I know you since you were a kid and via informants…

Minho:          
(sighs defeatedly) Uuugghh… Hyungs…
(bites his lips) Embarrassing…

Kris:  
(counters) No… It is fine…
We know the situation…
How you deeply loves and cares for Key…
So need to defend your side…
We knew it since long time ago…
Anyway… What brought you here…?

Minho:          
Can I stay inside Key’s room…?

Kris:  
(nods) Sure…
Sir Key tolds us, you are free to go inside his room
anytime you wish…

Minho:          
(feels elated) Thanks…

Kris:  
You can stay there…

Minho:          
Do you have an idea when he is arriving…?

Kris:  
Like he said, he will be staying in Japan until Mr. Park
leaves and that is today’s Mr. Park’s last day…

Minho:          
(sighs) Okay… I will go inside now…
Thanks hyung…

Kris:  
You’re welcome…
Relax… Alright, things will be alright…
Don’t do anything silly…

Minho:          
(salutes at Kris) Yes Sir…

Kris:

Inside Key’s room, Minho spends a lot of time checking every detail he can spot.
Paintings, room decors, Key’s personal belongings like shoes, toiletries, bags, etc.
Minho doesn’t have idea about fashion but regardless, he can sense every item Key has is superbly expensive that not a fraction of it, he cannot afford.
Attention to detail is among strong points Minho can describe about Key and appreciate.
Just like all of Key’s, precise perfect.

“Aaahhh…”

He could smell Key’s scents on all sides of the room.
Sweet, lingering and relaxing – almost to a point that it makes him under its spell.
He could feel his entire being hypnotized and drowning from it.
Like at this moment, he wants to feel Key – the bed, he thinks. He walks towards it and before he let himself lie completely, he spots small bottles atop of one Key’s corner tables.

He gets the bottles and reads it…

“Pain relievers…
Oh I need this…
I am in a lot of pain…
And this one, anti-depressant pills…
anti-depressant…?
Meaning… against depression…
I need this too…
Whoaa…Nice…”

He opens the bottles and forces hisself to understand that, these tablets are safe-resting-medication-tablets that will put him in a good sleep.
In his mind, this tablet is exactly what he needs – to relax his mind just enough for tomorrow perhaps Key’s arrival.
Walking fast towards the fridge, he puts water at half full and unmindfully pours tablets on his palm and takes two tablets into his throat.

Then goes back to the bed to lie down peacefully like without a care in the world.
He closes his eyes and right now thinks of what could have been the scenarios if he and Key together, he smiles.
And so, he makes his own realms of could have been life together.
