Later Afternoon

Park with a heavy heart leaving behind Key for a job he previously agreed on promises to come back as soon as he finishes.

Meanwhile, Onew takes courage to ask Taemin.

“You…Me…?”

“Yeah…”
Replies Onew…

Onew:             (smiling) If it is alright to invite you to dinner…?

Taemin:          (looks suspiciously on Onew)On what occasion…?

Onew:             (glints his chinky eyes) The day I very first met you…

Taemin:          (gapes then says in shock)
                       Uuuhh…aahh… wwhhaaatt…?

Onew:             (laughs) Yeah…

Taemin:          (confused) That important…
                       For you to remember the day we met…?

Onew:             (nods) Yeah…so…?

Taemin speechless in his current state could not speak a single word.
He could not believe the impact he has on Onew.
And thus, he remembers what Key
had spoken before about finding someone to like him and thinks…

“Did Key somehow know what was going on…?”

Suddenly comes back into his own senses when Onew speaks…

“(eyebrows raise and on a sad tone)
Hhhmm…
I understand if you don’t like…
I just wanted to try my luck…”

Walks away from Taemin giving up when Onew did not receive any feedback from the other.

And at this moment, when Taemin sees Onew walking away, he gasps in surprise and quickly says to himself…

“Damn…
This guy easily gives up…
(calls Onew) Hey…Onew…!”

Onew turns to face Taemin with a face of surprise and confusion asking…

“Wwwhhyy…?”

Taemin runs to him and slaps Onew’s shoulder showing his frustrations…

Taemin:          (sighs) Damn…
                      You give up easily…

Onew:             Aaahh…
                      (smiles cheekily)
                      Ooohh… I don’t…
                       I  just want to give you some downtime...
                       Then I'll continue insisting again…

Taemin:          I like Korean resto…

Onew:             (jumps beaming)
                       YES!! Finally…

Taemin:          (giggles) What finally…?

Onew:             (shakes his head)
                       Nothing…Am just happy…
                       Very very happy…
                       So, tonight we will leave at 6:30pm…

Taemin:          (stares at Onew)
                       Don’t you think 6:30 is too early for dinner…?

Onew:             (nods)
                       But I plan for us to go somewhere else before dinner…

Taemin:          So it is not dinner alone…
                        A full date… that is… Onew…?

Onew:             Yeah…?

Taemin:          It is obvious for me not to notice that you like me,
                       Is it not…?

Onew:             Yes, it is…
                       ( takes a deep breath)
                        I have liked you from the very
                        first day I just met you…

Taemin:          hhhmm….
                       Like you, it is funny that I have the same exact feeling
                       the first day I met Key and up to now…
                       I love Key…
                       (looks solemn this time at Onew)
                       You have noticed that too…?

Onew:             (nods) Yes…I have early on noticed...

Taemin:          (makes an “O” shape of his lips nodding)

                       (feels a bit poignant) But…

                       (throws himself on a chair and sighs)
                       I remember that day…
                       I confessed to him…

Taemin gazes at Onew and sadly smiles then focuses on an empty space…
