“Changmi!”

Yunji turned around at the call of the familiar nickname. She smiled as she saw Jonghyun run towards her. Changmi. Rose. It had always been her favorite flower, and it was exactly how Jonghyun described her as: delicate, yet prickly.

“Oppa!” She pulled her earphones off and waved at him. He stopped in front of her. “What’s the news you were going to tell me about?” She asked, pertaining to the conversation the two had on the phone only minutes earlier, before they decided to meet at a nearby park. He said he had something important to tell her.

“CN Blue is going to debut soon.” He said, grinning. Jonghyun had been a trainee for years now, and their group had only been performing on guerrilla concerts and street shows. “The president of the company told us yesterday.”

Yunji’s face went blank for a moment while she absorbed Jonghyun’s news. She eventually smiled back before throwing her arms around him. “Congratulations, oppa!” Jonghyun laughed and wrapped his arms around Yunji’s waist.

“You’ll watch our debut stage, right?” He rested his hands on her lower back while her hands s around his neck. “You’ll watch us perform live?”

“It’s not like I’ve never seen you perform live, oppa.” She played with the ends of his hair. “But, yes, I’ll be there at your debut stage. Of course I will. I’ll be on the first row.”

“And look only at me?”

“And look only at you.” She nodded with a giggle.

“Don’t look at Yonghwa hyung, or Minhyuk, or Jungshin. Especially Minhyuk, don’t be drawn in by his eyesmile!” Jonghyun joked with a small glare, talking about the other members of the band.

“Aigo, oppa!” Yunji laughed. “I will only look at you. You’re the one I should be telling this to, since you’ll be surrounded by so many female celebrities.” She averted her eyes slightly and pouted her lips.

“And your point?”

“Will you still be with me even if you’re surrounded by all the female idols?” She asked quietly. “You might get a new girlfriend.”

“Yah.” Jonghyun cupped Yunji’s face and made her look at him. “Why are you even asking me this? I will still be with you, no matter what.”  Yunji’s face grew pink and he smiled, her cheek with his thumb. “My rose, my Changmi. How much do you love roses?”

“You know how much I love roses, oppa. They’re my favorite flowers.” Yunji replied.

Jonghyun nodded. “As long as you love roses, I will love you, and as long as you love them, I’m not going anywhere.” He planted a soft kiss on her forehead, right in between her eyes.

“Really, oppa?” Yunji closed her eyes and intertwined her fingers at Jonghyun’s nape.

“Really, really.” He said, trailing kisses down the bridge of her nose. “I’m not going to break up with you, Changmi. You’re my rose, my girlfriend, and that’s that.”

“Oppa…” Yunji felt her cheeks go warmer. He pressed his forehead to hers, his lips only an inch away from the smile playing on her lips.

“I love you, Park Yunji.” He said, leaning closer, and kissed her.
