The ghost girl might drag you by the legs at night
Unlocked Doors
Sulli felt this strange sensation on her back. The corridor seemed darker than normal. There was no sunlight only the horrible fluorescent lights. Still the familiarity of the corridors made it less frightening. She came from the bathroom after cleaning her painting tools for art class. She was the teacher pet, not that she liked it but being the best in class gave her the honor and burden.
She quickly arrived to the classroom as she preferred to have human interaction at the moment. Luna waved at her and with a broad smile Sulli headed toward her. But suddenly, Sulli was falling flat to the floor. When she looked up she saw the mean face of Yookyung.
“Oops, sorry,” said Yookyung. She had found funny to stick out her leg at the right moment. Her friend Hayoung snickered with Yookyung.
Sulli squeezed her fists and pressed her lips together, trying to confine her anger. Of course they would take advantage of the teacher’s absence. Luna ran to Sulli and helped her stand up. “You got a problem, Yookyung!” screamed Luna.
Sulli placed her hand on Luna’s shoulder. “Leave it. They are not worth it.”
Luna unwillingly turned and walked away with Sulli, glaring at the two girls.
“Careful Sulli! The ghost girl might drag you by the legs at night,” said Yookyung and Hayoung laughed hysterically.
“Ugh! I hate her! Why doesn’t she leave to her fancy school at Paris? Such a showoff!”
Sulli sighed. “I really wished she left like she said.” She sat before her canvas, ignoring them. She sighed and stared at Luna. “You just had to tell everyone about the ghost girl.”
“I didn’t!” protested Luna. “But… I kind of, accidently, told Naeun. Maybe she told Chorong. And you know how Chorong doesn’t keep any secret from Bomi. Bomi might have told Eunji and-”
“I get it, Luna… How do you even tell something accidently?”
“I was too nervous that day! Naeun asked me if I was alright and it just slipped!” said Luna.
Sulli wanted to be pissed because of Luna’s loose mouth but she knew she was truly sorry. And she knew she truly worried about her. Sulli pulled her and nudged her head.
“Ah! My hair!” she complained rubbing the top of her head as Sulli giggled.
