Something that was true
Unlocked Doors
She stayed in her room the whole afternoon. She was scared of seeing Hayoung. There was something about her. Something that was true. She couldn’t bear the thought of it.
She knew Krystal wasn’t all good. But she didn’t know how big the bad part was.
Sulli was on her bed that night. She felt something crawling up under her sheets. Her eyes widen and she slowly turned.
“Hi!” exclaimed Krystal pulling the sheets off both. Sulli gasped and got up. She the light. Krystal made a face. “Aren’t we jumpy today?”
“Krystal, one day you will give me a heart attack.”
“Oops, sorry,” she said. “See this is why I told you to lock the door.” Sulli stood near the bed, breathing in and out. Krystal giggled. “What’s wrong with you?” she asked. She got on her knees and went to the edge of the bed. She pulled Sulli near and caressed her bangs away from her forehead. The girl was biting her lower lip. “I’m not going to bite you… much,” said Krystal sweetly.
“I know,” said Sulli.
Krystal smiled and bet forward to plant a kiss on Sulli’s lip. She gave her one, two, three sweet kisses. She pulled away, caressing Sulli’s soft lips. She turned her head to give her a deeper kiss, a kiss that said ‘I love you’. Then another and another. 'I love you, I love you, I love you'. Then their mouths opened and the kiss got even deeper. It said: ‘I want you’. Their tongues meet: ‘I need you’.
Krystal slowly drifted back to the bed. Sulli followed. There were more kisses. Krystal’s hand was everywhere and she wrapped Sulli with her legs. At one point Sulli opened her eyes, opening your eyes while kissing wasn’t a good sign.
Sulli pulled back. Krystal furrowed her eyebrows as she didn’t understand. Sulli sat up next to her on the bed. Krystal sat straight too, looking for some answer in Sulli’s eyes.
“W-we needto talk,” said Sulli.
"Okay."
What are you? How long have you lived? Why can’t you be outside while there is daylight? Who are you? What is happening to me? There were many questions. But Sulli asked: “What do you want of me?”
“I want you,” said Krystal.
“That’s not what I mean…”
“I’ve watched you for a long time Sulli… I was hesitant. I didn’t know how to approach you…” she chuckled darkly and humorlessly. “I didn’t want to approach you… How to tell you about me? About who I am, what I am? I didn’t want to come in. Not until you invited me in. I knew I was influencing you. Not on purpose. I can’t help influencing people, is second nature. Sometimes I can’t help my impulses…”
“Like with Yookyung?”
"Yes, so I let you decide and waited the next day to see if you left the door opened. I wanted you to think about it."
"I did invited you in. It was no magical or whatever influence you did."
"I know..."
"Then?"
She sighed. “We actually… have a lifetime to know Sulli…”
“No, I need to know now.”
