Loud banging
Unlocked Doors
Luna closed her door. She locked it well. There was a loud banging onto her door in the middle of the night.
“Sulli?” asked the girl outside. The banging got louder. Everyone probably heard. Nobody would be brave enough to come out. The girl called Sulli’s named desperately.
Luna wasn’t sure what to do.
Sulli slept in a deep stupor because of the pain-killing pills.
She walked to the door. Pressed herself against it. “Krystal?”
The banging stopped.
“You have to go…”
“No!” she screamed banging even louder, calling Sulli again. She jiggled the door and Luna was afraid she would break it. “I need to talk to her!”
“You can’t…”
“Luna,” she said. Luna was surprised that she knew her name. “It’s not because of me… it’s because she is not with me. I need her just as much as she needs me! Let her out...”
“You hurt her still…” she whispered.
There was silence again.
Krystal made a noise that sounded like a growl. She pulled the doorknob and Luna had to step back when she hear the girl’s nails dig into the wood.
Luna sat before the door. Listening as the girl screamed like a real ghost suffering the punishments of her life.
Then she heard her wail loudly. The banging stopped and there was just a soft crying. She heard as Krystal let her body fall onto the door and slide down to the floor. “I didn’t want to hurt her… I didn’t, I didn’t…”
The horrible noise lasted until the break of dawn.
