Yuri tried to listen to what the doctor is saying, but he can’t focus. Taeyeon was there he probably handle it for him, all he wants to do is to be alone with the girl standing bay his side. He just observe her silently, she seems so much paler that yesterday. Her beautiful eyes were darkened as if she didn’t sleep for days.

 

He holds her hand and as expected he got the girls full attention.  Tiffany gave him a smile.   “You’re tired aren’t you.. You should take care of yourself mushroom.”   “I’m up all night, because I’m worried about you.” The girl said shyly.   “You’re the one who is sick; please take care of your health”   Tiffany nodded softly as she locks her gaze to Yuri’s face. She felt like a ton of weight was lifted on her shoulders. “Yuri I-I’m---“   “Yul.  you heard the doctor, you need to rest” Taeyeon cut the two, after the doctor walk out. He can’t help but to shake his head as he observe the two, with them holding hands. ‘Where’s Jessica?’ he silently asked himself when he realized that his friend was not there.   “It’s okay Taeng, I need to speak with Tiffany first.” Yuri assured his friend with a smile.   “Okay. If you say so... I will just call the others.” Taeyeon said before he left the two.   +++++++++       Jessica smiled weakly as soon as she saw Heechul’s face. “Thank you.”  She muttered as the man welcomed her in his arms.   “You know I will do anything for you, Princess.” Heechul said as he tightens his embrace.   Jessica nodded. “Let’s go” the man led her to the parked car just few steps away.  She phoned him earlier to drive him home and to send her off to the airport. Heechul been a very good friend to her in her entire stay, for someone she barely knew. She felt that he is the one who really understood her the most, and for that she is thankful.   “So… Are you sure about this?”  He asked her as soon as he secured himself in the driver seat.   She just sighed as she focused her eyes in the window. “This is how it supposed to be.”   Heechul briefly glance at the woman who he really cares about before he focused on the road. He could never be happier to see Yuri and Jessica finally end, but somehow he felt bad, he witnessed the way she cried for the man who is not even with her for a long time now. He did a lot of thinking after he left the hospital last night. When everybody waits in worry for Yuri’s safety, Jessica appeared as if she fell on the cliff with him. She looks so lifeless that it’s painful to see.  “It’s sounded like you don’t have a choice” he whispered but it’s loud enough to be heard by Jessica.   Jessica just looks at the man blankly. “He opened his eyes today,  and guess what..”   “What?”   “He asked for Tiffany” Jessica said as she hung her head low, normally she will fight the urge to tear up and cry. But today was different; it seems that her tear ducts finally got tired at last, maybe she cried enough for her lifetime these past few days. She has no more tears to cry.   Heechul stops the car as the traffic lights went red and he turned to her “would it make any difference if he said your name?”   Jessica just smiled hollowly. “If he asked for me, I wouldn’t be here.”   A moment of silence passed, Heechul didn’t expect it to hear that from Jessica. “So what are you planning to do exactly?”   “Leave and forget.” Jessica turned to the window once again.   “If you can’t do it five years ago, what made you think that you can now?” Heechul asked silently.   Jessica can’t really answer, as if her mind stops working.  All she knows is that leaving is that only way she can somehow be saved. It’s painful enough to leave Yuri to Tiffany, but staying will be more terrible.    Yuri always says that he loves her, but he can’t say no to the sick girl.  She can fight for him, but she rather not. because she knows that Yuri will never be happy with her, he will still care for Tiffany no matter what she do and that  thought is enough to make her suffer. She just can’t share... not for Yuri.   Yes she is selfish that way, what’s so wrong about that? Love has and will always be designed for two. Third wheel is against the rule. If a third person comes in, it means that something is wrong with the first two.   Jessica Jung just can’t do that... She rather be alone and broken,  than be with Yuri but still broken and a lot smaller.     ++++++++     Yuri was released to the ICU and was transferred to a normal suite. It’s already noon and almost all his friends were gathered to visit him.  Sunny and Sooyoung were the last two arrived, about 2 hours ago.  Yuri was silently listening to their chatter and occasionally smiled.  He was thankful that his friends were there for him, but there is one specific face that he wanted to see right now ever since this morning. ‘Where is she?’   The door swung opened and Yuri immediately turned to see who it is, to his disappointment..  it revealed a blonde girl with a basket of fruits in her arms.   “Hyonnie!!!” He heard Taeyeon exclaimed in excitement when he saw the girl.   The girl rolled her eyes to show annoyance the shortest man in the room. “Anyeong” Hyoyeon greet everyone as she placed the basket of fruits neatly in the coffee table.   “You’re late!” Taeyeon pouted at the newly arrived girl.   “How are you feeling Yul?” Hyoyeon asked Yuri in a concerned tone, totally ignoring Taeyeon. This made SooSun and YoonHyun couples laugh.   “I’m fine.” He gave a awkward smile,  Hyoyeon is the most distant to him specially after Tiffany arrived. He can’t blame her she is Jessica’s best friend, and she is not happy about what he did to Jessica.   “Yah! I’m talking to you too!” Taeyeon whined that made the blonde glare at him.   “I’m glad you’re feeling better” Hyoyeon smiled at Yuri.   “Noona what took you so long?” Yoong asked curiously as he took an apple from the basket.   “I...” Hyoyeon looks at Sooyoung “I bumped into Sica when I was about to leave the dorm.”   “She went home? She didn’t even say goodbye earlier” Taeyeon pouted. “But I guess she needs to rest she barely slept last night. “   Yuri looks at Hyoyeon shyly.. “Did… she tell you if she will go back here today?” He asked hopefully which made the others look at Hyoyeon too.   The girl tucked her hair behind her ears, somehow she felt uneasy. “I helped her pack her things… She will be leaving for L.A today, you all know it right?”   Yuri felt his heart hurt, as he looks at the blonde.  The room really went silent uncomfortably/   “I’m sorry Yul... I don’t think she will drop by here.” Hyoyeon said apologetically, judging Yuri’s expression he is badly affected by the news.   Yuri clenched his teeth ‘No...Jessica can’t go!  No... ’ His mind was running wild thinking how he can get to her. He can’t lose her, not now.. Not ever. “I need to get out of here!” he said as he tried to remove his dextrose on his good hands.   The whole room began to panic. Hyoyeon and Seohyun were startled with Yuri’s actions, as for the boys and Sunny they immediately go to Yuri’s side to stop him.   “What the hell Yuri! Stop that!” Taeyeon said as he tried to stop him.   “Yuri, don’t hurt yourself!” Sunny pleaded.   But Yuri didn’t listen; his right limb is technically useless… So he bit the tube out his left hand.   “Yoong call the doctor quick!” Sooyoung ordered their maknae when he saw Yuri’s dextrose fell off he tried to pin him down to bed but Yuri pushed him.   “I NEED TO GO! LET ME GO!”  Yuri shouted desperately. His eyes start to get blurry because of tears.   “Buddy calm down!” Taeyeon said as he held Yuri securely.   “Taeyeon please! I need to go to Jessica now!” He said helplessly.. “I need to see her…” He burst into tears as he tried to remove Taeyeons hands from him.   “Oppa...” Seohyun can’t help but to cry, as she watched her Yuri oppa struggle.   Yuri was still squirming from Taeyeon grip, while Sooyoung was finally on his feet with help of his wife.  “Yuri be reasonable… think of yourself first, you’re making your situation worst” Sooyoung said.   “You don’t understand! Please bring me to Sica now...” Yuri pleads to his friends. “I need to see her!”   “Kwon Yuri, don’t act this way!” Hyoyeon said in stern voice. “If you really want to see her, you need to get better then fly to L.A… you will just make her worry for you” She reasoned to the outraging man.   Yuri stopped moving as he cries, he shook his head as he looks straight at Hyoyeon. “I can’t let her do this again…. If I let her go, I will lose her forever.”   Seohyun and Sunny look at the guy in pity, Hyoyeon can just only sigh. She thinks  that it really is too late for Yuri now.   Taeyeon and Sooyoung looks at each other before they look back to their friend. They have never seen Yuri this emotional before.   The door swung open, Yoong and a doctor came in along with a male nurse.  The doctor frowned as he saw the detached IV at Yuri’s bed side. “We need to put Mr. Kwon under sedation, so that he can rest well. “The doctor said as he signals the nurse to hold the patient.   Yuri widens his eyes as he realizes that the doctor will put him to sleep. He grabbed Taeyeon’s collar and yanked his best friend towards him “Don’t let them put me to sleep; I need to get out of here… If you’re my friend help me” Yuri whispered to the older guy,   Taeyeon looked at Yuri worriedly, as he tries to pull himself up…     +++++++     Jessica waits as Heechul unload her luggage from the trunk of his car. . In front of the Incheon Airport entrance gate; they barely talk since they got out of the dorm.  Jessica can’t help but sigh as he observes her friend.   “Would you like me to walk you in?” Heechul asked her with a tinge of sadness in his voice.   “Aniyo.. I can manage” Jessica tried to smile to the man.   Heechul hold her hand, as he looks at her straight in the eye. “Jessica, I’m in love with you” He blurted out of the blue.  “I know you don’t feel the same way… I just want you to know” he said in an awkward smile.   Jessica was a bit surprised.. She knows that Heechul likes her but not in love.  She cupped his face with her free hand. “Heechul.. You ‘re one of the good things that I will remember every time I will think of Korea.”   “It’s that it? So no I love you too?? Or you are the most handsome man I ever seen?? You just hurt my feelings officially.” Heechul joked playfully.   Jessica smiled widely by the man antics. “Kim Heechul you’re the most beautiful guy I ever saw in my life... Feel better?”   Heechul laughed for a minute before he was able to suppress it. “Seriously Princess, if ever your ready to love again, don’t forget me okay?”He grinned.   “You will be on the top of my list.”   “I will miss you” Heechul pulled her into a hug, which she gladly accepts.   “I will miss you too.. “ Jessica whispered “looks like it’s gonna rain, I need to go inside now.”   “Goodbye Princess”   “Goodbye.. If ever you visit L.A give me a call” Jessica tip toed and kiss her friend in the cheek.   “I will see you soon” Heechul whispered before he run to his car.  Jessica waved at him before she turned her back.  She thought of her other friends, it made her sad… She really wants to bid goodbye but she’s afraid that if she did she will just spent the whole flight crying, she was so tired to do that now.   ‘This is better’ she took a deep breath as she walk in slowly.       ++++++++   Taeyeon can’t believe he is doing this,. Driving Yuri’s sports car like a mad man in the middle of the afternoon to Incheon.  He is a star for pete’s sak
