Jessica walked mindlessly out the hospital, she didn’t even bother to wipe her tears since it’s seems endless and hiding it is useless.  She thought she will find peace at last after she talked to the girl, but it just made her feel worst than ever.

 

She felt that she was being pushed in a fight that she can’t even win in the first place. She told Tiffany that she will let go of Yuri but her whole being was shouting otherwise.  Every word that comes out of where like daggers in her chest, she couldn’t even breathe...  She knows. She never meant it.   She used to be a very strong person, logical and practical, but all of these qualities were thrown at the window when it comes to Kwon Yuri. Even she can’t understand why the guy has that hold on her that she can’t shake off. ‘First love never dies …bullsh*t’ She mocked herself.   Three years with Yuri is the best years of her life, it’s like a dream, too perfect. She should’ve known better, it’s too good to be true. Now she’s living in a painful nightmare that doesn’t seem to end.   All along Yuri was never hers, Tiffany was always in between them.   She continued to walk until she reaches an empty bus stop. She just want to go back to America now, she don’t belong here… coming back is a mistake.  She and Yuri is a mistake.  She sobbed against her hand s desperately covering the shame spiral that she’s stuck into, she breathes heavily as she blindly dialed a number on her phone..   “Hello?” A familiar voice answered.. “Jessica, are you crying?”   She bit her lips to prevent any sound..   “Where are you?” The worried voice asked..   Jessica wiped her tears “I’m in a bus stop, near the Seoul University Hospital.” She whispered.   “Just stay there princess… I will be right there” The person said urgently before hanging up.   The girl exhaustedly leans on the side pole of the shed, waiting for someone to save her.   +++++++   Yuri was still sitting on the floor looks defeated and hopeless.  He stayed like that for who knows how long.   “Yuri…”  A voiced forced him back to reality, which he doesn’t want to do.  His eyes were still wet from the tears he cried earlier.  “How long have you been there?”   Yuri lifted his eyes and saw the kind face of Tiffany’s grandmother, worriedly looking at him. He just smiled bitterly instead of answering.   “You want to talk to grandma? “ The old lady asked.   Yuri just shook his head. And weakly rose up from the floor. “Tiffany is inside. She will be happy to see you”   “Is she awake?”   “Yeah… I guess she just had a visitor” He answered as he avoids the old woman’s eyes, afraid that he might break down.   The old lady sighed, as he looks at the young man..   “You look so tired Yuri.. Have some rest”   “No, I’m fine—“   “No you’re not, I’m very sorry dear.” The old woman cupped his face. ‘Grandma   is very sorry, Yul.. I wish I can do something to spare you.’  She thought with so much pity for Yuri.   The old lady’s heart breaks for the boy that he treats as her own.  Tiffany and Yuri practically grew up together. He is always been a very caring and sweet boy, a very good person. She doesn’t have to ask what’s wrong, as she see his misery all over his face. It’s because of Tiffany   “Tiffany might need me”   “You need to think about yourself as well.”    Yuri wants to laugh at the old woman statement but it will be totally rude.  “Can I go home?” he asked instead   Grandma Hwang nodded with a soft smile on her face.  “Have some sleep.”   +++++++   Jessica felt a light tap on her shoulder which made her opened her eyes and a handsome face welcomed her with a kind smile.   “Heechul..”  Jessica whispered as her eyes began to tear up again.   “You’ve been crying a lot lately princess” the man said as he pulled her towards his body, Jessica just let her body crashed to the man’s. “Would you like to tell me what happened?”   The girl didn’t speak instead she remained silent as she buried her face to his chest.  Heechul just sighed, as he the girls hair trying to make her feel better. “Okay let’s just go somewhere else...” He said as he walked the girl towards his car.       ++++++++   Jessica found herself sitting in a couch facing Heechul that is now dressed in white coat. She wants to go to bar and drink but since it’s just afternoon they end up in Heechul’s clinic with a bag of drinks and snack from a convenience store.   “Remind me again why are we in your clinic?”  She asked the man who is now serving her a glass of wine (soju).   “What? It’s the nearest place I know and you can cry here all you want just in case. No one will stare at you here and no one will give me weird glares thinking that I’m the one who made you cry.” Heechul shrugged when he recalls how the cashier gave him a disgusted look when they bought the drinks.   “Are you always bringing wine in your clinic?” Jessica asked as she roamed her eyes to the spacious clinic.   “Yeah
