Jessica found herself walking inside Seoul University Hospital, where Tiffany has been rushed last night. Honestly, she can’t even justify what the hell she is doing on this place. She has spent the entire night with her Umma, Sooyoung’s mother with a long talk.
She wants to think that the woman knocked some sense on her brain and for the first time in five days she was able to sleep well. After she cried her heart out again.
Last night.. Her Umma just continued brushing her long hair as she laid her head on her lap. She never spoke and just listened to Jessica’s every word. Until she popped out her question.
“So dear… you’re letting him go”
Jessica nodded sadly.
“But you still love him.”
The younger girl shed tears again.
The old woman sighed feeling sorry for her favorite girl.
“Sooyeon… Love is a beautiful thing and it’s always perfect, that why many people want it, but lovers are not. Yuri is not perfect and it’s not his fault”
Jessica rose up from the older woman to face her. “He chose her Umma, over and over again” She said in between her sobs. “And every time he does… I felt like dying.”
“Darling, Yuri is a very caring child, It’s his nature to look after everyone especially Tiffany, the girl is sick...”
“I can’t afford to go through all this pain every time a sick girl shows up and dying in front of him Umma.” Jessica cried even more. “I need someone to stay with me too and now it’s clear that Yuri is not that person.”
The old lady just shook her head, hearing that from the girl.
“Shhh.. . baby, but you can’t just go on holding those feelings towards Yuri. Don’t hate him.” The older woman caressed her face. “I’m not asking you to go back with him, what I want you to do is to close this chapter in your life the proper way. Do you get me?”
Jessica just stared at the woman “H-how can I do that?” She choked.
“Confront your feelings and then forgive, It will ease your misery dear…and only you can do it for yourself, it’s the only way for all of you to be free.” ++++++
So here she is, about to confront who’s really bothering her. ‘You can do this Jessica, stop whining!’ She scolds herself as she asked the front desk for the room.
“Can I get the room number of Ms. Tiffany Hwang? She’s been admitted last night” She calmly asked. “WE need your name and relation to the patient Miss?” “Jessica Jung, I’m an old friend.” “May I ask for a valid ID? Jessica showed her license to the girl. “Its, Room 590, fifth floor.” The girl smiled. “Thank you.” Jessica went straight to the elevator; she was holding a basket full of pink roses which is Tiffany’s favorite flowers if she remembered correctly. She was looking around for the room number when she saw a familiar figure. She immediately hide herself, she was not ready to face him yet ‘How silly can you get Jessica’ she thought. Yuri looks so tired and pale; if she didn’t know better she will think Yuri is a patient. She felt pity as she follow him with her eyes she felt her heart aches for him. Jessica began to hate herself again, any feeling towards Yuri is unacceptable but apparently she can’t still help it. She was about to step out when she saw Yuri walked towards her direction. She immediately hides herself again on the pillar. Jessica’s hearts beats fast in panic, did he saw her? She is weighing if she will run away or if she’ll just pretend that she just saw him “Both are stupid” she whispered, and then a doctor met Yuri. Jessica breath in relief, she was about to walk away when she overheard the conversation of the two. “Mr. Kwon is she already awake?” the doctor asked. “Not yet doctor” “I was hoping to get her answer for the Treatment that I’m proposing. That will really help her. If she only stop refusing every treatment that we suggest” The doctor said in a very disappointed tone. “I’m trying to talk to her about it. I will try my luck later when she woke up. “Yuri sound very apologetic to the man. “Can you come with me to my office? I have something important to show you” the doctor said. Jessica didn’t hear any reply from Yuri but she heard footsteps walking away. She peeked to check if the hall was already cleared before she walked towards the room she was looking for. ++++++++ Jessica knocked on the door but no one answered, she opened the door silently and found the room empty. The room was spacious enough to have receiving area. She silently walked to the bed were a pale body was lying. Tiffany’s re
