A young child... a child
painted the wall with black paint

When I walked closer to the wall and looked at it
I was immediately in

 

I felt comfortable, like when I had been in my mother's womb,
and I forgot about everything

As I played as though I was swimming through space
I found five stars, shining so bright

Like how a child approaches her mother
I began to approach the five stars

When I got close, they would get farther away
When I got farther away, they would get closer

I began to cry from frustration... and I was angry
But I began to wait for the stars to approach me first

Others who had fallen for the five stars
waited with me

As more people gathered and waited
