Seven am, Sunday morning and the girls are still in dreamland. Jieun and IU's eyes covered in eye masks while Hyosung covers her face under her blanket. It has always been a habit of hers to cover her face under the sheets. Few minutes later, Hyosung woke up. Stretching her arms up in the air, she let out a cute groan and looked around her, chuckling at the two girls sleeping heavily beside her. She quickly got up from bed and walked silently out of the balcony

"Fresh cold air" she whispered to herself as she leaned her arms against the metal railing. "You should go back to IU's room now and sleep. It's not good for the health to stay up all night" Memories of her and Daehyun's conversation last night replaying in her mind

"What's wrong with you Hyosung.? What are you thinking.? Why are you thinking of him.? Why him.? You should be thinking of Yoseob-ssi not Daehyun. Get a hold of yourself! You're not supposed to think about Daehyun. He's not interested in any girls. Whoah.! Did I just say that to myself.? Why am I thinking that he could like me.? He only sees me as a friend-enemy, nothing else. Sure he talks to me but that's just it, nothing more than that. Stick to liking Yoseob! That was your first move. You can't fall for Daehyun. You can't" she talked to herself, feeling like a complete idiot

"Unnie. What are you doing outside.? It's freezing" IU said from behind, rubbing her sleepy eyes

Hyosung turned around quickly, her eyes wide open "I-IU.!"

"Hmm.?" IU hummed, still rubbing her eyes

"Yo-you didn't hear an-anything right.?" she asked

IU tilted her head, bringing her hands to her side "Heard what.?"

She sighed in relief "Oohh-uuhh. Nothing. Nevermind" she smiled

"Let's have breakfast. I'm hungry" 

She nodded her head and stepped back inside "I'll go wake up Jieun"

"Oh and by the way unnie" IU stopped her

"What.?" she smiled as she turned around

"I heard EVERYTHING". IU grinned at her "Good Morning"

"Good morning" she exclaimed

As for breakfast, the 3 of them went out of the room and into the dining area. The meals already prepared and the butlers helping them sit. Jieun sat next to Hyosung as Hyosung sat across from IU, her other side empty

"We thank you for all the food that we recieve for life. Thank you for the food" IU prayed

"Thank you for the food" Hyosung and Jieun repeated

"You should try this Gujeolpan Hyosung-ah, it's really delicious. It's made by Daehyun's favorite chef" Jieun explained, giving her some in her plate

Hyosung bit her lip, slowly nodding her head "Go-gomawo"

IU smirked "Wae.? Don't you like Gujeolpan unnie.?"

"Ann-anniya" she stuttered

After eating a piece, Daehyun came in. "Oppa.! Let's eat" IU shouted

Daehyun glanced at Hyosung then sat on his chair, the once empty seat beside Hyosung "What's for breakfast.?" he asked his dongsaeng

"Your favorite Gujeolpan and some other" IU replied

"Mmn". He grabbed a pair of chopsticks and starts eating his favorite food. Hyosung just watched him eat his breakfast. Eating it so perfectly and flawlessly

"How can someone as arrogant and mean like him look so perfect by just eating a damn simple breakfast.?!" she thought to herself

"Stop staring at me will you.? It makes me uncomfortable. What's wrong with you.? Why do you keep on staring at me like I comitted a serious crime or something. Is there something on my face.? Am I really that handsome and perfect for you to stare that much.?" Daehyun thought. His eyes and attention was on eating his food but his mind was clearly on Hyosung who was still looking at him from time to time

"Oh right, oppa, me and the unnies are planning to go to the beach park. Would you like to go with us.? It will be fun" IU beamed

He shook his head as he munched on his food "I'll pass"

IU let out a quiet yelp "Ahh waaee.?! You have to come. You promised me last month that whenever I wanna go to the park, you'll come with me. Are you hanging out with the other oppa's today.?" 

"No"

"Then are you doing something today.?"

"No"

"Then are you going somewhere else.?"

"No"

"Then good. Come with us to the park. Please please please please please please pleeeeaasseee" IU pleaded

He glanced at Hyosung and Jieun who was doing the same thing. Sighing heavily, he placed his fork on his plate and stood from the table "Tsk. Arasso. Just call me when you're ready"

IU clapped her hands and grinned widely "YYEESS.!" 

"Why did you ask Daehyun to come with us.?" Jieun asked

"So that he can spend more time with us. Plus, Daehyun oppa needs some fresh air and some time to think" 

Hyosung furrowed her eyebrows together "Think about what.?" 

"Certain things" IU smiled, winking at Jieun when Hyosung looked down to her plate

Jieun shook her head, giggling "Yeah. Just certain things"

Daehyun didn't know why he ever agreed to come to the beach park with the girls. Seriously, he's ben annoyed for 15 minutes as they walked around the, the 3 girls talking to each other and some other random girls following them and gawking at his presence. This is why he doesn't wanna go out, cause he exactly knows that this will happen

Hyosung talked and laughed with IU the whole time. When the two of them got busy talking to each other, she slowly looked behind and saw Daehyun's annoyed expression at the girls following behind him. She stopped from her tracks and waited until he walks forward to her. When he finally reached her, she nudged him lightly and smiled at him "Don't like the company.?"

"How can I.?" Daehyun scoffed. "Just makes me wanna puke at them"

"Well, you are JUNG DAEHYUN for Christ's sake. How can they not gawk at you.?" she chuckled

"So just because I'm JUNG DAEHYUN, EVERY girl gawks at me.? Including you.?" he smirked at her

She blushed at his question. Suddenly her cheeks glowing red. Her heart beating abnormally as he smirks and gaze at her. She quickly diverted her eyes away from him "Wh-what are you ta-talking about.? Le-let's go, IU and Jieun ar-are gonna leave us behind"

"Whatever you say" he said, grinning inside at her reaction

The two of them walked faster and caught up with the two girls, they were just walking behind them as they separately wandered their eyes around the. Daehyun putting his hands inside his pocket and Hyosung crossing her arms, obviously trying not to glance at him. "Yah, by the way. We should get started with the new project Mr. Jason gave us. For the trimester" Daehyun spoke

"But what about the others.? I don't really like the idea anymore of just the two of us doing everything just because you don't wanna be with them. Let them help too, so that they can earn the grade they will get. Just a little won't hurt, Daehyun" Hyosung said

There it is again, she called him by his name again. Hearing his name being uttered by those lips makes his stomach twist in a weird way. Keeping the feeling to himself, he hummed his answer and look at the back head of his sister "Arasso"

"Really.?!" 

"But I won't wanna work with them in one room"

"And how are we gonna do the project then.?" she pouted

"I'll let them do the paperworks and we do the assigned thing to build. I'm sure it's enough for them to do that. Besides, doing the paperwork is such a hassle so let them do it. If they don't want to, then no grades for them" he explained

She nodded her head, smiling at him "I'll tell them that. Gomawo"

"Unniiiieee.!" IU yelled, surprising Hyosung

"O-oh.?" Hyosung responded

IU pointed towards the beach excitedly "Beach! Beach! Beach!"

"Yeppeoda" she awed

"Hyosung-ah.! IU-ah.! Come on.! The beach feels goooodd" Jieun screamed, soaking both her feet in the beach water

IU ran towards Hyosung and dragged her to the beach, the 3 of them laughing & giggling, splashing themselves with little water. Daehyun was just watching them have fun as he sat down on a bench chair "Girls" he murmed to himself, chuckling silently

"Daehyun.?" someone called him

He turned his head to look at the person who just called out his name "Y-yoseob hyung"

"What are you doing here all alone.?" Yoseob asked

He kept quiet for a moment, glancing at the girls then at his cousin "I'm not. I'm with them" he said, nodding his head towards the beach

Yoseob laughed at the sight. He slowly walked towards the beach, grinning at the girls "My my my. Having fun ladies.?"

"Oppa.!" IU smiled

"Hey Yoseob" Jieun greeted

"Hey Jieun-ah" Yoseob greeted back. "Hyosung" he smiled

Hyosung smiled back at him "What are you doing here.?"

"I was just having my weekend walk in the park when I saw Daehyun sitting there" he replied, glancing at Daehyun from behind. "So you ladies just gonna have some fun here in the beach.?"

"Ye-yeah oppa. W-wae.?" IU asked

Yoseob grinned "That's great. I was just wondering if I could join you"

"U-uummm. . ." Jieun began

"Of course you can" Hyosung finished

Daehyun walked slowly towards the 4 of them, wearing his black shades "So are we going home now.?"

IU got out of the water and stood beside him "Ac-actually oppa. We're gonna stay here for a while, Yoseob oppa wanted to join us" she smiled sadly

"Hmm. Really.? Then I'll go ahead" he said

"Don't" . Hyosung looked at him, feeling a bit disappointed at what he said "Wa-wae.? Tired already.?"

"You don't need me here anymore. Yoseob hyung is already here" he answered

"Okay then cousin. We'll see you at school" Yoseob smiled. "Hyosung-ah! Let's buy some ice cream. Come on girls!" he said, grabbing Hyosung's hand

Jieun awkwardly followed them. IU stayed beside Daehyun for a while, looking up at him "Do you really wanna go home oppa.?"

He stared as his cousin held onto Hyosung's hand, feeling a bit annoyed "Of course. I'll see you at home"

IU sighed desperately, dragging both her feet forward, catching up with the others "Waaeee.?! The mood was so great just a while ago.!"

Until 12 noon, they were just on the beach, wandering around and laughing. IU tried her best to make Hyosung not stand too close to Yoseob. She would always stand between them, laughing along with them or even cling onto his arm, like a little girl. Eventually, the morning ended up as she hoped. The 3 of them waved goodbye to Yoseob, climbing into the car and going back to the house.

For the rest of the day, they spent their time studying for the coming exams again. Jieun always laughing at Hyosung's clumsiness as she makes way to understand ALL the Math formulas. "Aaaaaaahh.! I can't think of any other way to understand this.! I've done everything.! Walk, run, close my eyes, dance, jump, memorize it. I even tried hanging my head upside down. It just won't dooooooooo" Hyosung whined

"Maybe you should rest unnie" IU suggested

"I need something to drink" she said. "I'll be back in a few"

"Bring me something to drink too" Jieun yelled

"Araassooo" she smiled. She quickly got out from the room and ran to the kitchen, hoping she would find the same person she saw last night. But much to her dismay, she found no one. Sighing breathily, she opened the fridge and searched for the same can Daehyun had given her.

"You're here again"  a voice said from behind

She quickly turned around and saw Daehyun halfway through the door "Ye-yeah. I'm here again. I was just gonna get something to drink for me and Jieun"

"How's the studying.?" he asked

"Don't remind me. It's frustrating" she answered

He laughed, almost audible for her to hear "That's because you're not putting your everything into it"

"Oh I'm sorry Mr. Oh So Perfect Dark Lord" she said, rolling her eyes

"Pabo girl is mad" he teased

"I'm not. . . .I'm not smart like you or Jieun you know. My brain just doesn't work that easily and quickly. Math is just not my forte. I can do good on other things but. . . . .but not this one. I'm trying my best to be able to pass this exam, I don't wanna disappoint my appa cause I know he'll be very sad and he'll just force himself to work more so that he can save money for school expenses" she admitted, smiling a little at him "But hey, at least I can try"

Unexpectedly, Daehyun walked up to her, stopping just in front of her. He fiddled something on his wrist and wiggled the thing he was holding right in her face. This may be something inappropriate or wrong, but in all honesty, he doesn't know why he's doing this too. So without wasting any time, he tied the green with a mix of purple and black bracelet around her wrist. "This. . . .Uhh. You can have this, it's my lucky charm. But if it doesn't go well for you, you can give it back"

Hyosung stared at the bracelet around her wrist "I thought you hated me"

"I did" he said then left the kitchen

"I DID. DID. DID" Past tense. He said 'DID', implying that he doesn't hate her now. Smiling widely, she gazed her thumbs along her new lucky charm, feeling happy at this "Thanks Daehyun"
