"Hyosung-ah!" Jieun yelled, running towards her 

"Hey Jieun" Hyosung smiled "You look happy"

"Of course I am. Tomorrow is finally 2013. Happy New Yeeaarr!"

She giggled "Happy New Year too"

"Vacation officially starts this afternoon too"

"Vacation.?"

"Yeah. Our school has this weird policy thing. Haven't you noticed? We didn't have Christmas break"

"Oh yeah, I noticed that"

"It's been a tradition ever since. And the school only gives the students vacation, well -- ONCE a year"

"Really.?"

"Yup. But what's great about our school is that it's 2 MONTHS VACATION! Whooohhooo!"

"Wow"

Jieun nodded

"So what are your plans for the rest of the month?" she asked as they walked down the hallway

"Last year, I went to Spain with my family. But for this year, I have other plans"

"What plans?"

"It'll be my vacation with you guys! YOU, ME, IU and the boys!"

"I-I don't k-know about that J-jieun"

"Why not.?" Jieun whined

"I c-can't leave umma"

"Okay, if you say so" Jieun sighed defeatedly

"Unnie! Unnie! Unnie!"

The 2 girls both turned around and saw a running IU "Hey IU"

"Good morning unnies" 

"Morning" Hyosung smiled

"So Jieun unnie, have you told Hyosung unnie about our plans?" IU beamed

Hyosung bit her lip. Sad to see a very excited expression on her dongsaeng's face and yet she can't come. She really wanted to go but this will be the first time celebrating a big event with her umma and new family. Wait, this would be the first time celebrating with Daehyun too

"S-sorry IU. I c-can't go with you guys"

The smile on IU's face was immediately replaced with disappointment "I-it's o-okay unnie"

"I really want to go but this woud be my first time celebrating new year's with my umma"

"We understand unnie" IU sighed "Well, I go to class now. See you later"

When IU finally disappered, Hyosung turned to Jieun and hugged her tightly "Aaaahh! I'm really sorry Jieun-aahhh! I really want to gooooo! Please don't be mad at me! Please! Please! Puuuhhlleeeaassseee!"

Jieun chuckled, patting her back "We're not mad, silly"

"Je-jeongmal.?" she sniffed as she pulled away, holding both on Jieun's shoulder

"Of course" Jieun smiled

She hugged her again, much tighter this time "WAAAAAAAAAAAA! Thank you Jieun-aaahh!"

"YAH PABO GIRL! Be quiet. The whole school might collapse because of the massive noise you're making" Daehyun joked as he walked past them, along with the others

"Morning Hyo" Himchan greeted

She angril pulled away from the hug, sticking out her tongue at Daehyun who's back was facing her "Jerk! Oh, morning Himchan oppa! Yongguk oppa! Youngjae!"

Yongguk glanced over his shoulder as he waved, smiling

"Morning to you too Hyo & cousin" Youngjae grinned "See you in class"

"That jerk. That stupid, evil, lazyass, hotheaded, stupid stupid stupid jerk" Hyosung cursed to herself

Jieun laughed, linking her arms with Hyosung "But he's your jerk"

"He . . . He is not" she blushed "But . . . "

"But?"

"H-huh.? Oh it's just, I'm just a little disappointed that I can't go with you guys. I really wanted to spend time with--"

"Daehyun?" Jieun smirked

"N-no! I-I was gonna say with y-you guys! W-why would I want to spend my vacation with that jerk.? He's mean, he's evil, he's mean, he's evil! Who would want to waste a perfect amount of vacation time with that jerk.?!"

"Well, based on Daehyun's popularity, EVERY GIRL in Korea would want to waste their time just to have a vacation with him, even if it would just be for a minute" Jieun laughed "Yeah, he's a GOD for the ladies"

"You're right" she chuckled

"And even though he's mean and pure evil and all, you LOVE him"

She blushed again

"You two are so so soooooooooo adorable" Jieun giggled "One day you're all so sweet with each other, then you're all back to the denying phase again then to sweet then deny then sweet then deny then sw---"

"Okay okay. I get" she pouted 

"But if you change your mind about coming with us, just call me okay?"

"Okay" she smiled

"Umma! I'm home!" Hyosung called out her umma as she closed the door

"In the kitchen, sweetie" Hyorim responded

"Whoah. Do you have visitors for tonight umma?" she asked when she saw the dining table filled with varieties of food

"No" Hyorim laughed "It's for New Years Eve. I wanted all of us to have the perfect dinner"

"Can I help?" she smiled

"It's okay sweetie. I'll be done in 5 minutes. Why don't you go and change.? I'll call your uncle and Hyuna"

"Deh"

Fifteen minutes later, a fresh looking Hyosung went out of her room & into the dining area

"What took you so long.?!" a very angry Hyuna fused

"I-I'm sorry. I took a q-quick shower tha--"

"Quick.?!" Hyuna laughed sarcastically "You call that quick?"

"Hyuna! Manners" Hyorim interrupted "It's okay Hyosung"

"Come on dear, take your seat" Charles smiled

Throughout dinner, Hyorim and Charles mainly did the talking while Hyosung just responded to every question they asked, smiling and sometimes awkwardly making eye contact with Hyuna. Her sassy dongsaeng on the other hand, kept glaring at her like daggers while slicing the meat on her plate

"So girls. I've decided that for this new year, we're gonna have a great vacation" Hyorim beamed

"Umma! We're always on a great vacation" Hyuna said "Where are we gonna go this time?"

"This time, we'll be going to England, princess" Charles smiled

Hyuna gasped, hugging her appa "Really appa.?! Omo! Yeess! There's this shop in England that I really want to go to! Omo! I can't believe it! Yeeeyyy!!"

"Shopping.? Well, of course" Hyosung thought to herself

"Oh my gosh! The 3 of us are gonna have so much fun!" she said excitedly

Hyosung sighed "And of course she cuts me off the picture"

"What do you mean the 3 of us.? You're forgetting about your unnie, Hyuna" Hyorim stated

"Oh" was all Hyuna could say "Then I won't go with you guys"

"Hyuna!"

"What.?! I don't want to spend a vacation with . . . . unnie! It would be a waste of time!"

"No Hyuna! All 4 of us will be going there"

"Then let's don't go there! Simple as that!"

"This is your unnie's first vacation with us! We can't just not go there because you don't want to. We're a family and we should go as a family!"

"I don't want to!" 

"Charles! Talk to your daughter!

Charles sighed, looking at Hyuna "Come on princess. At least do this for appa.?"

Hyuna remained silent for a moment, crossing her arms. After 10 seconds, she stood from her seat, leaving the 3 of them with a big "NO"

"Hyuna! Come back here! Uughh! What am I gonna do with her.?!" Hyorim groaned

"Uumm, it's okay umma. You 3 go, I'll just stay at home" Hyosung half-smiled

"Now Hyosung dear. You know we can't do that" Charles said

"A-actually, I-I have a f-favor. If that's o-okay with you"

"What is it sweetie.?"

"C-can I just spend my v-vacation with my f-friends.? Jieun and the rest planned to go somewhere during our vacation. I said NO to them because I thought you wanted to spend it as a family but since Hyuna doesn't like me to go with yo--"

"It's not like that Hyosung" Charles assured her "Hyuna . . . Hyuna is just Hyuna"

They laughed

"So umma, can I go with them.? But if you won't let me, I totally understand"

"Of course you can sweetie" Hyorim smiled, fixing her bangs

"Really.?!"

"Yes. When you're with Daehyun, I'm always sure because I know you'll be safe with him"

"U-umma" she blushed "I'll b-be with Ji-jieun"

Hyorim chuckled "I doubt that. Right Charles.?"

Charles nodded, grinning "Right"

After dinner, the 3 of them talked for about an hour or so and finished at 11 pm. Hyosung wished them both good night and to her room. Feeling quite happy and excited that she'll be able to come with her friends, she immediately grabbed her phone and texted Jieun & IU

"Hey ladies. Happy Almost New Year :) I have great news! I told umma about the vacation and she said I can go!" (Sent to Jieun & IU)

"REALLY.?! Yeeyy! That's super great news! Now I'm super super excited! And Happy Almost New Year to you too ^^" (From: Jieun)

"Jeongmal unnie.?! Whhooohhoooo! Banzaaiiiii! You have to tell Daehyun oppa" (From: IU)

Just as when she was about to reply to their messages, her phone rang, indicating that she received a text that says:

"Just in case you are sleeping right now. I just wanna greet you a Happy New Year pabo girl ;)" (From: JERK <3)

She smiled to herself as she replied "I'm not asleep you jerk =P Happy New Year too ^^" 

"Well that was fast =D It's 2013 already, are you still gonna call me jerk.? I'm too handsome for a jerk you know"

"Cocky! =P Yeah it is 2013. And yet, you're still calling me pabo girl >__<"

"What? I like it =D"

"Yeah.? Well I don't =P"

"It's my special name for you. And ONLY ME can call you that. You're my . . . . pabo girl :)"

She blushed, reading the last text over and over again

"Hellooo.? Asleep already.?"

"Ooopppss! Sorry Jeiun-ah. Someone was kind of bothering me"

"Is it Daehyun.? Heeeeeee :->"

"How'd you know.? ^^"

"Oh please, he's the only person here on earth who'd bother you :-)"

"Unnie! I just went to Daehyun oppa's room and saw him grinning like an idiot while holding his phone. Are you guys texting.? Ooooooooohhlala :D"

"He's the only exception Jieun-ah. Hahaha" (To: Jieun)

"Yeah ^^ Sshhh!" (To: IU)

"I'm not a pabo you know =P" (To: JERK <3)

"Hahaha. So have you told him that you're coming with us.?"

"Not yet IU. But I will, later =D"

"Okay unniiieeee! Take your time ^^ I'm heading to bed first. Good night. Mwaahh!"

"Sweet dreams IU. Mwaaahh!"

"Of course he is, he is your one and only jerk ;) Okay so I won't bother you 2 lovebirds there. I'll see you tomorrow! I'll be in your house at 2pm. Don't forget to pack! Or else I'll be the one picking your clothes and I'll really pick the iest ones so that Daehyun will gawk at you ;)"

Hyosung laughed at Jieun's last text and blushed for the 10th time at Daehyun's new message

"Yes you are. You are my pabo girl"

"Okay Jieun. Promise I won't :) See yah!" (To: Jieun)

"Shut up =) By the way, I'm looking forward to the vacation" (To: JERK <3)

"You're coming.?!"

"Yes! Umma let me =) Don't you want me to.? :("

"It's kinda bothersome when you're there. You're really clumsy and I don't know what might happen to you"

"YAH! You jerk! :((("

"I was joking =DD Of course I want you to be there. I almost don't wanna go too when IU said you can't come with us. But I guess fate has a way for us"

"Is this really the Jung Daehyun that I know.? He's sooo cheesy" she thought to herself

She bit her bottom lip. Her thumb trembling on whether she should send her reply. Shutting her eyes close, she pressed the Send button and dropped herself to bed, feeling a bit nervous
