HYOSUNG's POV:

It's been 4 days since appa left me. In all honesty, I feel like my world is crashing down. Every night I cry in my room at my new house, always thinking about my appa. Is he doing well.? Is he eating healthy.? Is he working himself too much again.? Too many questions that makes my heart ache. I just don't understand why my appa would do this to me. But throughout this chaos, I got a hold of myself. Thanks to my friends and to a certain someone

"Hey unnie" IU greeted me with a pout

"Hey IU" I greeted back 

"What with you.?" Jieun asked

IU sighed, leaning her arms against the table "Homework. Loads of homework today"

"Well don't just frown there. We are in the library, get on with your assignment girl" Jieun smiled

"Unnie.!! Help me.!" she pleaded us

"What is it about anyway.?" 

"Math. Business Statistics and Chemistry"

"Oh. That's your cue Jieun-ah" I said, escaping from the scene

While the 2 of them were being busy, I was filling my thoughts with so many things. Starting off with Hyuna. Am I really going to let her get closer to Daehyun.? What will eventually happen if they get closer.? Will I be out of Daehyun's life.? What do I do.?

"You seem to be in a deep thought" Jieun interrupted me, her eyes focused on the math problem she's answering

I sighed heavily. I know I promised Hyuna that I won't tell anyone about our secret. But I really wanted to tell Jieun and IU about this one. Of course I won't tell them the part that Hyuna is so different when it comes to me. Just this one part about Daehyun because I am in desperate need for some advice "Y-you see"

IU looked up to me, playing with her pen "What is it unnie.?"

"I need your help" I said

"What kind of help.?"

"I have to make Daehyun like Hyuna" I bursted out, and regretting it after I said those words. I was supposed to say the opposite thing but those words came out instead

"What.?!" IU spat quietly

"Are you insane.?!" Jieun added

"I think I am"

"What makes you think Daehyun will like someone like Hyuna.?"

"It-It's just that. . . ."

"It's just what unnie.?"

"I-I just think that things will go well if her and Daehyun will be together. Hyuna will be so happy if she and Daehyun will be lovers and that would result to us being a happy family. I want to be a good big sister for her. And since she likes Daehyun so much, I'll do anything I can to make her happy"

"And what about your happiness unnie.?" IU asked me, making me totally off guard

"H-huh.?"

Jieun stared at me "And Daehyun's happiness" 

"Hyuna is my sister" I said "I'm the unnie. I have to do everything to make her happy"

IU looked at me, smiling sadly "Even if it hurts you.?"

"You're already hurt Hyosung-ah. If you do this to Daehyun, you'll get hurt more"

"And so will oppa"

I bit my lip, thinking about HIM "Daehyun will like Hyuna. E-eventually"

"How can you say that.?"

"I-I ju-just know. He'll like her, right.? Right.?! I mean, Daehyun hated me at first then we became friends. It will happen to him and Hyuna too. I can feel it" 

"You're . . . . . different, unnie"

"No I'm not. It's just the same. Please help me. Please.?"

They both looked at each other, obviously disappointed at what I  have said for the past few minutes "Please do it for me.?"

"O-okay" Jieun agreed hesitantly

I smiled sadly. I know I forced them to do this favor for me but a part of me wanted to scream at them for ever agreeing. Okay, something is definitely wrong with me. I just can't explain it. I'm sorry Daehyun if things will be like this from now on. At this moment, family is important for me and I'm willing to do anything to be the best sister Hyuna can ever have. Even if it means loosing you. Even if it means loosing another part of my life

DAEHYUN's POV:

Lunch was awfully boring today. Pabo girl didn't show up like she used to. Now I'm stuck here with the  guys only, which is quite annoying since Himchan hyung kept on talking to me about nonsense girls stories. Whenever he asks me some questions, I just nod my head, totally absent minded

"I'm right, right Daehyun-ah.? I mean if she wants me, she could just walk up to me and we could BANG.!! She plays really hard to get. It's been a week since I saw her and I'm still asking her out. Such a teeeaasssee.!! I like it.!!" Himchan hyung grinned

"Yeah hyung. You're right" I responded flatly, my eyes wandering around the cafeteria

"Yah. Are you even listening.?!"

"Uh-huh. Yeah whatever" I nodded

"Hyung, you're making so much effort. He's not listening" I heard Youngjae said to Himchan hyung

"Are you really not listening.?"

"Uh-huh. Yeah whatever" I repeated

Youngjae chuckled "See what I mean."

"Looking for someone Daehyun.?" Yongguk hyung asked me

"H-huh.?"

"Hyosung.?"

I nodded "I haven't seen her"

"You've seen her in the classroom" Youngjae laughed

"Shut up" I growled "Don't you guys notice something different from her these days.?"

"And by different you mean.?"

"She's avoiding me.!!"

Himchan hyung smirked at me "And it's bothering you.?" 

"Of c-course it do-does"

"Why.?" Yongguk hyung asked me again, grinning from ear to ear

"Because.!! I ----- "

"You love her" Youngjae finished

When I heard those words, I secretly blushed. Throwing the notebook near me, I glared at Youngjae for saying those words. What if someone heard him.? I don't want any rumors now, especially that pabo girl has her own problem to deal with

"She told me that she'll be in the library, finishing reading her book"

"Idiot. Why didn't you tell me that earlier.?" I spat at my bestfriend

"You didn't ask" he replied, grinning

"Idiot" I said, rolling my eyes and walking away from them. I jogged myself to the huge library school. As I stepped inside, I started looking for that purple head pabo girl. Silent gasps were heard when I entered the library, female students squealing quietly while I was busy looking for someone. Even the librarian was drooling over me. Aish.! So disturbing.

I walked around the library and went up to the 2nd floor, to find HER sitting at the very end row table. She was reading a book, well, more like just holding it. She seems to be out of her mind and it's bugging me. It's bugging me because I can't help but help her. So I walked up to her. I was only 2 tables away when she saw me. Her eyes widening in shock as if I was the ghost of Christmas past. She quickly stood from the table and ran to the book shelves at the very end corner

"Yah" I shouted, catching up with her, not minding the people around me. I got pretty lucky because when she made her final turn, it was a dead end. Now she can no longer escape

"Da-Daehyun. I-I didn't s-see you th-there" she stuttered

I raised an eyebrow, giving her an 'Are you kidding me.?!' look "Seriously?"

"D-do you n-need something.? W-what is it.?"

"Are you avoiding me.?" I bursted out the question

"What.? Pfftt. Of course not"

"Don't lie to me" I said, looking straight into her eyes, slowly trapping her in the wall, both of my arms at the side of her head

"Y-yah. Wh-what are y-you d-doing.?"

"The question is, what are YOU doing.?"

"I was just reading a book" she mumbled 

"We both know that that's not what I mean" I said, intensely gazing at her "Why are you avoiding me.? Did I do something wrong.? You've been avoiding me for the past 2 days you know. Don't think that I don't notice it at all pabo girl. Why.?!"

"Please. . . .Don't make this any harder" she pleaded, the corner of her eyes getting watery

"What did I do to make it any harder for you.?!" Now I was angry, which makes me much more angry. Lucky for us, we're at the very end of the library so no one can really hear us

"Please understand this" she sniffed, a tear falling from her left eye "I just don't wanna cry anymore"

I sighed, scratching my head angrily. Who's making her cry.? Me.?! What the heck did I do.?! I'm just really angry right now. I don't even know why. She's not even my girlf----- Aish.! Look what she's doing to me.! Stupid pabo girl.!!

"I-I'm sorry" she apologized, still sniffling

I stared at her for a moment then stepped closer to her. I cupped both her cheeks, wiping her tears with my thumbs "I-I'm sorry too. I g-got carried away"

She held onto my wrists, crying and staring at me "H-Hyuna li-likes you. And she's m-my si-sister. As a go-good sister, I h-have to m-make h-her h-happy"

"A-are you saying -----"

I didn't finish what I was about to say. Seeing her cry about her appa made my heart ache and now she's doing this to me. Double strike man.! I don't care about her sister. I freakin care about her.! Why can't she see that.? She just stood there, looking in my eyes, holding my wrists. Without warning, she suddenly hugged me, her arms wrapping tightly at my waist. Then she slowly pulled away, backing up a little bit and walked past me, without even saying anything
