HYOSUNG's POV:

And so here am I, walking on our way to the festival with Daehyun holding my hand as we walk up the stairs. After we watched the movie, I can't seem to stop fidgeting around. I don't know. Maybe it's because of the adrenaline rush, thinking that I'm his girlfriend now. That HE IS MY BOYFRIEND now. What do I tell to umma? To Hyuna? How will she react? How will the school react? Daehyun's fangirls and Hyuna's posse might join forces and and and and Aaaaaaaahh, I don't even wanna think about it

Then I felt Daehyun squeeze my hand, I looked up "W-what's wrong?"

He chuckled "I should be asking the same. What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing" I shrugged it off "It's nothing"

"You know, even though you're my girlfriend now, I'm not a PABO"

I rolled my eyes playfully, smiling at him "Well if you're so good, why don't you tell me what's on my mind?"

"I may be a genius but I'm not a telepath"

"Whatever" I smiled again

He smiled back, swinging my hand that was held tightly in his "Tell me" 

"Well it's just . . . ." I began, stopping us from our tracks, looking straight in his eyes "What do we tell Hyuna? You know, about us"

"Why do we have to tell her?" he frowned "I really don't like it when we talk about her. You know I don't that girl!"

"Daehyuuuunn!" I pouted "She's my sister"

"Step sister" he corrected

"Dae" I said, calming my voice a bit more "I'm serious"

He sighed, scratching the back of his head with his free hand "So am I. Can we not talk about it right now? I really don't want this moment to be ruined. Just by hearing her name makes me --- For your sake, I won't even say it"

I shook my head, laughing "Arasso"

When we finally reached the main entrance of the festival, he was the one who stopped me this time "What's the matter?"

He cupped my cheeks, massaging it with his thumb "I just wanna warn you about something"

"What is it?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows

"Starting any minutes now until 12, I can't have you by myself"

"H-huh?"

"After we enter those gates, we'll be spied on. And so I can't do those things that I want to do with you"

"Y-yah. What are you saying" I blushed

He laughed "Don't think dirty thoughts, you pabo. I just wanna do something before we go inside"

"What?"

"This --" and before he could say anything, his lips found mine. That kind of caught me offguard but that didn't stop me from kissing back of course. His lips are so soft. It's like a newly baked cheesecake muffin that I used to bake with my appa before. And I just found out now that I like kissing him. Okay it's weird but so what? I'm the only who knows anyway.

We kissed for a good 2 minutes. He pulled away first, grinning at me. "Let's go" he whispered

I can only nod, dang it

"Unnniiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeee!" IU shouted once she spotted Daehyun and Hyosung came to view

"Told you" Daehyun chuckled

I smiled at him, waving at the others "Hey"

IU beamed "Oppa! Unnie!" 

"Hyung!" Jongup called "Noona!"

"Okay, you guys should stop calling us. We're here already" Daehyun said

"So did you two have fun?" Yoseob asked, smirking "A lot of fun?"

"You can say that, hyung" Daehyun answered

"What's the news?! Tell us already!" Jieun yelled, squealing "Are you two --"

Hyosung glanced at Daehyun, biting her bottom lip "Ye-yeah"

"YES!" All of them cheered

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yeeeeeeesss! IU jumped happily 

"Finally!" Zelo clapped "Congrats to the both of you!"

"Congratulations, you guys" Himchan added

Yongguk nodded, smiling "I'm happy for the both of you"

"Goodluck, Hyo. I hope you can handle well that hot head" Youngjae joked

Daehyun glared at him "Yah!"

"What?" Youngjae laughed "Anywaaaaayy, what are we all waiting for? Let's go to the temple, the firework is about to staaarrtt!"

"Come on, unnie!" IU smiled, grabbing Hyosung's hand "You have so many things to tell us!"

"O-oh. O-okay" Hyosung said, looking back at Daehyun who was giving her a wink

All of them settled at the backyard of the temple. Yongguk, Himchan, Jongup and Zelo were squatting at the grass ground, at the very front. Yoseob, Youngjae and Daehyun were seated at the opposite side at the back while the girls were seated at the middle back part of the backyard. But Jieun and IU decided they had enough of the story, not wanting to ruin a perfect time for Daehyun and Hyosung

"Unnie, I still can't believe this is happening" IU smiled "I literally can't stop smiling"

Hyosung blushed, glancing at Daehyun's figure, his back facing her "Me too"

"You still have so many things to tell us. But right now, I'm pretty sure Daehyun wants to save this moment with you. So we're just gonna go" Jieun said 

"Thanks guys" 

"Let's go, IU. I know you want to sit right next to Youngjae" Jieun teased

"Unnie!" IU whined

IU and Jieun left Hyosung sitting at the back as they approached the others. Daehyun looked back a little, smiling at the two girls who just kidnapped his girlfriend for awhile. So without wasting any time, he got up from the ground and jogged himself to Hyosung's spot

"Finally, I thought those two would never leave" 

"Sorry" Hyosung smiled "They're just happy, I guess"

"Don't they know the meaning of 'WE JUST GOT TOGETHER SO LET US HAVE OUR TIME'?"

"They're your friends and one of them is your sister" she informed

"Well sorry for wanting to spend MORE time with my girlfriend" he scoffed

She blushed, nudging his shoulder lightly "Thank you, by the way"

"I think I should be the one thanking you" he admitted, holding her hand, admiring the ring that he gave "And I thank Jay appa too"

"Hmm. Why?"

"For having an amazing daughter" he said, looking at her and intertwining their hands "I love you"

She closed her eyes for a moment, leaning her forehead against his "I'll be punished for this"

"Hmm?" he hummed as he closed his eyes too "How come?"

She sniffed, feeling a tear roll down her cheek "I did something forbidden"

"What's that?"

"Loving you so much. I'm supposed to hate you, despise you but it's going the other way around and now you're my boyfriend. I'm being a bad sister" she whispered, opening her eyes

"What ar--"

Suddenly, she clung into him tightly, cupping his cheeks, trying to tell him, with the press of on his, all the things she could never say out loud "I love you. I love you. I love you. I don't care about my sister. I love you too much to care about that. Whatever punishment it will be, I'll accept as long as I have you"

"You won't get any punishment. I'll take all of it. I'll always be here for you, Hyosung"

"I love you so much, Dae"

"I love you too. So so much"

And just when they were about to lean in for another kiss, fireworks started coloring the dark sky

My heart tells me this is the best and greatest feeling I have ever had. But my mind knows the difference between wanting what you can't have and wanting what you shouldn't want. And I shouldn't want you and yet I do.
