"Wasn't that fun, noona.?!" Jongup jumped happily, holding both Hyosung's hand as they entered the mansion

Hyosung nodded eagerly, smiling widely at her dongsaeng's cuteness "I had the best time, Jonguppie"

"I-I thought I was gon-na die from the r-rides" IU panted "I-I still can't g-get over it"

"Are you okay" Youngjae asked worriedly

"H-huh.?" IU blinked, blushing "Ye-yeah, I'm fi-fine oppa"

"Are you sure.? Do you want me to get anything for you.?"

"Oh Youngjae, stop hitting on my niece, will you.?" Sunhwa suddenly walked in

"U-unnie!" IU blushed even more

"I'm not hitting on her, noona" Youngjae frowned, although a slight shade of pink is visible on his cheeks

"Noona, how is Daehyun hyung.? Did something bad happened between him and President Jung.?" Zelo interrupted

Hyosung suddenly grew silent

Sunhwa smiled, then glanced at Hyosung "Oh, they're both fine. Luckily no harm done"

"Thank heavens!" Youngjae praised

"Hi! I'm Sunhwa. You must be Hyosung" Sunhwa greeted, extending her hand out

Hyosung gladly shook her hand, bowing slightly "D-deh. Annyeonghasaeyo Miss Sunhwa"

"No need to call me miss. Just call me Sunhwa"

"Heeeeyy, how come she gets to call you Sunhwa only. WE have the same age" Youngjae whined

"Because! Daehyun LIKES her!" Sunhwa grinned, noticing the deep blush creeping on Hyosung cheeks "And well, you all know that Daehyun most likely calls me Sunhwa only"

"That's not a good reason" Youngjae scoffed

"Shut up Jae!" Sunhwa rolled her eyes, pushing him aside "Don't you have somewhere else to be, JAE.? Like being a coward infront of IU.?! "

"Don't you have somewhere else to be, NOONA.?! Like, I don't know, in FRANCE -- minding your own business.?!" he mocked

"Oppa! Unnie! You are such kids" IU chuckled

Sunhwa scoffed "It's your little boyfriend's fault, IU"

"Y-yah!" he gasped

"Good God, Jae! Get yourself and IU a room!" Sunhwa said, pulling both their arms and leading them outside the balcony "Have fun you two!"

"Wooooww noona, way to boost Youngjae hyung's confidence" Jongup laughed, clapping

"I know. I'm great" Sunhwa smiled, praising herself

"Hey kids" Sohee appeared, greeting them with a warm smile

"Oh unnie" Sunhwa smiled back

"Hey Auntie" Jongup and Zelo greeted back

"U-uh. A-annyeonghasaeyo" Hyosung bowed

"Will it be okay if I talk to Hyosung for a moment?" Sohee asked, looking at Jongup and Zelo

"Yes of course auntie" Zelo answered

"Come with me boys. Let's go spy on Youngjae and IU" Sunhwa beamed

After the 3 of them left, Sohee sat on the big lounge of what sort of looked like a living room in the mansion

"Please, have a seat" Sohee offered

"D-deh. Thank you" Hyosung complied

"How are you?"

"I'm doing good madam President"

"Please, just call me what the others have been calling me -- Auntie. Madam President makes me feel old" Sohee laughed

Hyosung laughed along, nodding her head "Yes Auntie"

"Well, have you seen my son.?"

"A-actually, we just arrived from Fun Fair. The guys held me captive there" she chuckled

"Ah I see. I wonder where's that son of mine. He was the first one to leave the study after he and his father had a talk"

"O-oh. Is that so"

"Did you enjoy yourself at Fun Fair?"

"Yes I did" she smiled "Sort of"

"You know, this must have been hard for you"

"D-deh.?" 

"The wedding of Daehyun and Jieun"

"O-oh. I-I really don't have anything to say about that. I'm in no positi--"

"Do you like my son.?"

"D-deh.?"

"Let's be honest here, Hyosung. Besides, it's between you and me. Do you like my son.?"

"I-I t-think so"

"You think so.?"

"It's just, he's an insensitive jerk"

"Really.?" Sohee said, cocking one eyebrow

"I mean, I'm sorry Auntie. What I meant w-was ----"

Sohee laughed "It's okay, go on"

"H-he makes me so confused. He's a jerk. I've always hated him but whenever things gets worse for me, he's always there. And  and and because of it, I'm .. . ... .. I'm falling for him" she admitted, her head hung low

"Do you regret falling for him?"

"Some of it" she said, her eyes starting to blurr with tears

"Why?"

"Sometimes I just wish he was a normal jerk. Someone who's not rich. Someone who's not handsome and attractive. He's such an idiot!" she sobbed "We're just not meant for each other"

"What makes you say that.?"

"We just can't be together. My .. .. .. my younger sister likes him so much. I just don't want to be a bad sister. Ever since I knew that my mom had another family, I-I promised myself to be a good daughter to them. To be a good sister. And what good sister would I be if I --- if I take away Daehyun from my sister"

"Have you ever thought about your feelings.? Daehyun's feelings.?"

She shook her head, sniffling

"Just because you took something from your sister, it already means your a bad unnie. Maybe Daehyun isn't meant for her. But for you"

"Wh-what?"

"I've never seen my son so interested in someone before. Since he hates girls so much. But ever since you came, I think fate made the right choice. Look Hyosung, there are just things in this world that you can't get just because you want. Just because you want it, you'll get it. The world doesn't work like that"

"Just because you want it, you'll get it" she repeated

"Your sister got everything she wanted ever since she was born and you worked all your life for you and your appa"

"H-how --"

"You've missed out almost everything of what a teenager is supposed to be. And I personally think Daehyun is their to fill those missing pieces"

"B-but --"

Sohee smiled, sitting close to her as she held Hyosung's hand "Why don't you think about yourself for a change? Think about what will make you happy"

"What will make me happy.?"

Sohee nodded, tucking Hyosung's hair behind her ear "Give my son a chance. Arasso?"

"Deh"

Night came and Sohee and Simon along with Jihae already left the mansion. Sunhwa decided to stay a bit longer so that she can keep a good eye of the kids. Or as Youngjae countered, make fun of him.

Hyosung was on the maze garden. The very exact spot where she and Daehyun went when they first heard about the wedding. Looking up the sky as she exhaled deeply, she thought of those words that was stuck on her mind "What will make me happy?"

Suddenly, something smooth and warm was wrapped around her shoulder. She looked behind and saw a jacketless Daehyun standing perfectly behind her

"What are you doing here? Everyone's been looking for you" he started as he sat next to her

"I just wanted some fresh air" she answered, clinging onto his jacket that was wrapped around her "Where were you this afternoon.? Your umma was looking for you"

"I kind of needed some time to think"

"About what?"

"Certain things"

"I see"

"Yah pabo girl"

"Wae.?"

"You know .. I've been thinking"

"Yeah?"

Y-you see"

"Uh-huh.?"

"Well, it's kind of short noticed"

"What is.?"

"I- uuumm"

"You what.?"

"The thing is"

"Oh bwo.?!" she snapped, standing up "If you don't have anything to say, I'm leaving!"

"Yah! Why are you so angry.?!"

"Coz you're such a jerk.!"

"What did I do.?!"

"Everything! You ruined everything!" she frowned and walked straight ahead

Daehyun ran after her, holding her wrist "Yah!" 

"Let go of me!" Hyosung struggled

With one quick movement, Daehyun pulled her into a tight embrace, his lips on her ear "Just . . . Just let me finish"

Fortunately she didn't flinch, only managing to give a small nod

"You're such a pabo, you know that..?"

She was about to pull away when he hugged her more tightly "Don't moovvee"

"Ah waaaee.?!"

"Just shut up, okay.?!"

Silence

He cleared his throat, bringing his lips closer to her ear "For the past months, my life was okay when only my family and friends was part of my life. Then you came along with that mouth of yours. I hated you and then you proved me that having you as a friend was okay. But as I walked into your life, many revelations had happened. I've seen you cry and broken so many times. And to see you like that again, I'd kill myself"

And just like that, Hyosung's heartbeat increased

"You told me to stay away from you and be with your sister. And that's what I did, but it was beginning to be so hard for me because you keep on pulling me back. Now, I'm telling you, no matter how much you push me away, I'll always stay"

He slowly pulled her away from his embrace, lifting her chin up. He caressed her cheeks as tears threaten to fall "You may be the biggest pabo I know"

"Y-yah" she pouted, sniffling lightly

He smiled "But you're my pabo. I like you, pabo"

She bursted out crying, shaking her head. Then she started punching him in the chest "You jerk. You jerk. You jerk. You're such a jerk Daehyun. A big fat jerk"

"Ya-yah" Daehyun said, holding her wrists "Are you alright?"

"No I'm not" she cried, bringing her head lower

"A-are you hurt.?"

"Everything hurts"

"W-what happened. Did you fell somewhere hard.? Where..?!"

She nodded her head, poking his chest "There. I fell hard. There"

"Y-you mean" he only grinned

"Jerk" she chuckled "I like you too"

Daehyun closed his eyes for a moment, bringing their foreheads together. Second later, he screamed on the top of his lungs, hugging Hyosung by the waist as he spun her around

"Y-yah. P-put me down" Hyosung laughed "You jerk! Put me down"

Halting to a stop, not bringing Hyosung to safe land just yet, he grinned at her and kissed her nose "Why should I listen you.? You're mine now" And with that, he spun her around for the second time

And the garden was filled with happiness, laughter . .. . . . . and screams

(Whooooohhhhoooo!. Today is the day of my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY in AFF! Whhooppiiiieeeeeeee! And congrats to Daehyun and Hyosung .. Bwahahahhahahahahah)
