DAEHYUN's POV:

Hyosung and I walked through the Han Streets, carrying the bags filled with food that my stupid and crazy friends ordered us to buy. Why am I even buying their food.?! I'm Jung Daehyun for heaven's sake! I don't do other people's order, they do that for me! But as I walk silently, my eyes focusing on the road but really glancing at the purple-head girl next to me, I realized why I agreed to this. I want to spend some alone time with her. Wow, that was cheesy .... but true

"Do you miss him.?" I asked, breaking the silence

"Yeah" she answered in a whisper "It seems like only yesterday when he would help me cook dinner or set the table. I miss those kind of things"

"I'm sure he'll be fine. He is your appa, strong as a cow, just like you" I smiled

"Just like me" she repeated, smiling back at me then looking at the slighty snowy sky  "Christmas is almost near"

"It is. Any wishes for Santa Claus?"

"What.? The Dark Prince believing in Santa Claus.? Oh my!" she gasped, clearly teasing me

I rolled my eyes as I chuckled "For your information, I don't believe in Santa Claus. I just got used to it because of IU. When she was 5, she would always cry when her friends tell her that there's no Santa Claus. So being the great brother that I am, I did everything to make her stop from crying"

"And what kind of things.? Like dressing up as a Santa Claus.?"

"Do you seriously think I would humiliate myself.?"

"Maybe.?" she replied, laughing

"Of course I hired some guy to pretend he's the real Santa Claus"

"And.?"

"Ever since then, up until she was 11, fake Santa Claus would be there to give her presents, which originally came from mom, dad, me, Jieun , the other guys and Youngjae"

"Youngjae huh.? He likes her that much.?"

"You noticed.?"

"Who wouldn't.?" she giggled "Don't you approve of Youngjae for IU.?"

"It's not that I don't approve. It's just Youngjae can be a playboy but I really know he likes my sister. I'm just waiting for him to confess to her, which is taking him like decades or so"

"And why is that.?"

I laughed, shaking my head "He's just afraid, thinking that I won't approve of their relationship"

"Wow. Even your bestfriend is scared of you"

I suddenly stopped walking, smirking as I grabbed her wrist "Don't be surprised pabo girl. You just don't know how scary I can be"

"S-so, you're tr-trying to scare me now t-too.?" she said, blushing "T-that won't work on m-me you know"

"We'll see" I smiled. "You okay?" I asked, noticing her shivers

She nodded her head, smiling at me "Y-yeah I'm f-fine. Just a little cold"

"A little.?" I chuckled "You're really an idiot for not bringing a scarf, it's winter already"

"What.?" she laughed "I have my jacket"

"I have my jacket" I mimicked her as I unwrapped the scarf around my neck and looping it around her neck "You're lucky I'm wearing one"

"N-no it's o-okay, we're heading back now anyways"

"So now you're refusing my offer.?" I asked in an annoying teasing voice "You can keep it"

"Re-really.?"

I nodded, staring at her

"S-so, how is school.?" 

I laughed "So what, now you're my mother.?!"

"Jerk! Can't I ask.?" she laughed along

"It's okay" And by okay I mean boring because you're not there 

"W-what about Hyuna.?"

Silence

"Should I check up on her everyday to see if she's okay.?!" I snapped

"I'm sorry"

I sighed, rubbing the back of my head "It's not your fault. She's .. she's okay too, I guess"

"D-do you have any funny story that you can tell me.?"

"Funny.?" I asked

"Y-yeah. A funny story that happened in school"

Well here's a funny one, I missed you, but I'd rather not say that aloud "Nah. Not really"

We stared at each other for a few seconds when I noticed that she was blushing. Cute. I was planning on staring at her for a few more minutes when she suddenly broke the contact. "W-we sh-should go, th-they're probably looking for us"

"They would, wouldn't they.? We have their food" I laughed

"Finally! We thought you guys were ditching us for ordering you guys around" Youngjae said as Daehyun & Hyosung walked inside the room

"And we should have" Daehyun answered back "You're lucky I'm not in a bad mood Jae"

"Why is that.?" Youngjae asked, smirking

Daehyun rolled his eyes, hitting his bestfriend in the head "Shut up Jae"

"Hey" Yongguk and Himchan greeted him with a grin

"Oh hey hyung, you're here" he nodded towards them

"Unnie! Your umma called and said that she can't watch over Jay appa tonight because of an emergency at Uncle Charles office" IU said, standing next to Youngjae who was handing her a food

"H-here you go" Youngjae stuttered

IU blushed "T-thank you o-oppa" 

"Really.?" Hyosung interrupted "Is it something bad.?"

"No" Jieun replied "She said it was just a problem with the staffs and so on and so on and so on"

"Oh okay" she smiled

"Noona!" Zelo beamed "What's your favorite color.?"

"Uuhhm. Purple.?"

Jongup joined, sitting next to her "Do you have someone you like, noona.?"

"H-huh.?" she blushed furiously, stealing a glance at Daehyun who was already staring at her intensely "I uhhmm .."

"This seems interesting" Yongguk chuckled

"Come on Hyosunggie, tell us" Himchan grinned

"Since when did you start calling her that.?" Daehyun asked in a stern voice

"Since now" Himchan snorted in a devilish grin

"Well, do you noona.?" Jongup carried on

She nodded her head "I-I do"

"Really.?! Who.?"

"Yoseob-ssi already kn---"

And that's all Daehyun heard, his mind and heart all froze up when Hyosung said his cousin's name. Before he could say anything else that could damage his counfused heart, he suddenly walked out of the room, leaving the rest of them and Hyosung confused

"R-really unnie.?" IU asked in a sad tone "Really.?"

"Re-really.?" Jieun repeated

"W-we thought y-you like Daehyun" Youngjae added

"I don't" she said, biting her bottom lip

She stayed quiet for a moment, looking on the floor then to her friends who has a sad look on their face. She could't help but giggle at their reaction

Jieun furrowed her eyebrows, looking at her "What's so funny Hyo.?"

"I don't like Daehyun. I'm sorry guys" she apologized, smiling

Jongup sighed "It's okay noona. We really thought yo--"

"I love him" admitted, the smile on her face never leaving "Didn't I said that already to you girls.?"

"REALLY NOONA.?! YOU LOVE DAEHYUN HYUNG..?!" Zelo freaked, rejoicing

"Ssshhh.. Zelo!" Himchan scolded him

"We're in the hospital, Zelo-ah" Yongguk added

Zelo stopped, covering his mouth with his right hand "Oops. Sorry hyung. I got carried away"

"But unnie, you just clearly crashed oppa's heart from what you said" IU laughed

"What did I say.?"

"You said you like Yoseob oppa"

"Well, he didn't let me finish" she pouted

"That's because you said Yoseob oppa's name. And from what I think, he probably doesn't want to hear things why you like Yoseob"

"I wasn't even planning on saying that. I was planning to say that Yoseob-ssi already knows whom I love"

"Tell that to Daehyun oppa. He's probably cursing at himself right now, I can almost imagine it" IU giggled 

"Sh-should I go talk to him.?"

"Should you Hyosung.?" Youngjae asked in an amusing tone "Hhmmmm"

"Should you Hyo.?" Jieun grinned

"Should you unnie.?" IU smiled

"Should you noona.?" Jongup joined

"Should you.?" Zelo mocked

"Yeah you probably should" Himchan laughed

"Definitely" Yongguk smiled, showing his gummy smile

"She likes Yoseob hyung. She likes Yoseob hyung. She likes Yoseob hyung! Aaiisshh!" Daehyun groaned in frustration, leaning his arms in the railing

"Da-daehyun"

He kept quiet, not bothering to turn around because he knew that voice all too well. "What.?" he replied in a lame voice

"W-why'd you go out.?" Hyosung asked as she stood beside him

Daehyun kept his head to the side the moment Hyosung reached his side, avoiding eye contact "No particular reason"

"Let's go back inside, you haven't finished your dinner yet"

"I'm not hungry. I lost my appetite"

"Why.?"

"Why do you care.?"

"Can't I.?"

"Why don't you ask Yoseob hyung instead.?!"

"Ask him what.?"

"Don't bother yourself with me anymore"

"Why not.?" she frowned

"Just leave me alone" He said, walking away from her

"Yah jerk!"

Annoyed, he turned around and walked straight at her, stopping in front of her "WHAT.?!"

Hyosung just stared at him "Jerk!" she whispered

Now it was his time to stare at her. Staring at her dark chocolate orbs. Getting lost in those eyes and slowly relaxing

"You're such a jerk!" she smiled then hugged him "Jerk. Jerk. Jerk. Jerk"

He was shocked by the action but didn't budge. He let her hug him tight "What are you doing.?"

"I don't like Yoseob. I have someone else" she admitted, hugging him tighter

"And who is that guy.?" he asked

"I don't wanna say his name. But he's nothing I've ever hoped for. He's an overly bad guy who does nothing but humiliate other poeple. He's moody. He's spoiled. He's rich. He's smart. He's snappy. He's annoying. He's twisted. He do what he wants. He's impossible. He's ---"

"Okay okay okay. I think he gets it" he chuckled, hugging her

"He's a real jerk. But I love him" she blushed, burying her face in his chest

He smiled, contented at her confession "I wonder who could he be"
