"What's going on here.?" Hyosung asked as she looked around the hallway, the students screaming and running at one direction. "Is someone important coming.?"

Jieun shook her head "No. It's Ice Princess time"

"What's that.?" she asked again

"Hyuna's own little world" IU answered

She raised her eyebrows, still not getting the whole situation "O-okay.?"

Jieun giggled and pushed her towards the main hallway. "Hyuna regulated this. Just her own little rule. When the exams are coming, she performs in behalf of her fans. The school administration were against at first but then many male students wanted it so . . . . . So it's just kinda there. And everytime she performs, she gains many male student fans. Like 10 times. It's like their lucky charm"

She blushed a little, hearing the words 'lucky charm'. She touched the bracelet that was tied around her wrist and looked at the stage infront of the crowded students

"Pleeassee. She just wanna do it cause she thinks Daehyun oppa will be captivated by her so called iness" IU chuckled. "When will she ever learn that oppa isn't easy to get.? She's throwing herself too much at him and yet she gets rejected everytime. Hhmm. Must be a disappointing to get rejected by the most handsome guy on campus"

"Why do you hate her so much..?" Jieun asked hysterically

IU smiled "I don't hate her unnie. I just hate her guts. I don't think she realized that Daehyun oppa already found someone" she winked

Hearing those words, Hyosung quickly turned her attention at IU and Jieun "Da-daehyun already has someone.? I thought he doesn't like girls"

"Oh he found someone alright. Well he doesn't know it yet but he'll eventually confirm his feelings. Trust me unnie"

"Do-do you kn-know her.?

"Of course" IU grinned, nodding her head "Oh. Hyuna's performance is about to start"

The Ice Princess started her show with Bubble Pop, all the male student's shoutimg/screaming her name until they lose their voice. While some of the girls were squealing and cheering, half of them are at the side, cursing at the Ice Princess. Hyosung, Jieun and IU were just at the back corner observing. Hyosung's eyes wandered around the hallway and stopped midway when she saw a familiar figure standing opposite to them "Daehyun"

Daehyun looked into her direction. Meeting eye to eye, they just stared at each other, not mouthing anything, not even blinking. They both diverted their eyes from each other in unison. Hyosung's cheeks burning red and Daehyun covering his pinks chubby cheeks with his back hand

"WWHHOOOOOOO.! HYYUUNNAAAA.!!" 

"HHYYUUUNNNAAAA.!!"

"SSEEXXYYY ICE PRINCESS.!

"BE MY GIRLFRIEND HYUNA.! BE MINE.!"

"HYUNA UNNIE SO COOL.!"

"SUNBAAEE.!!" 

Eah student's screaming their lungs out from time to time. Hyosung looked upstage and saw Hyuna doing her y face at Daehyun's direction. She then glanced at Daehyun who was just looking at the stage with an expressionless face. "Does he like Hyuna when he does that face.?" Unknowingly, she smiled when he yawned, completely bored at the performance. He placed both his hands inside his pocket and looked at her before he disappeared

"Good luck for the exams, Daehyun" she murmured to herself

"Good luck to you, pabo girl" Daehyun thought to himself as he walked away

"Hyosung-ah. Let's go" Jieun said

"Where are we going.?"

"Snacks" IU smiled. "Let's eat. I'm really hungry"

"You girls go eat, I'll just stay here. I didn't bring any money with me" she smiled back

IU shook her head in disapproval "Andwaaee. We'll treat you, come on"

"You don't have to. Really. I'm fine" she insisted

"YAH.! Do you want to die Jun Hyosung.?! We won't take NO as an answer. Either you eat or we starve to death together with you" Jieun joked

"Arasso Miss Jieun" she chuckled

The 3 of them went to the deserted cafeteria, they went to order food and sat on their table "Hmm. All the students were really looking forward to Hyuna's performance. We're the only students here in the cafeteria" IU laughed

"That's Hyuna's for you. She is popular" Jieun said

"But you're much more popular than Hyuna, Jieun-ah. And aren't you gonna like have some sort of performance too.?" Hyosung asked

Jieun shook her head, sipping on her apple juice "Naahh. I'll leave the singing thing to IU. She's gonna perform before summer break starts. Our way of saying thanks to all our student fans"

"Yeah unnie. I'll blow them all the way. Kekekeke" IU grinned widely

"Are there other student's who's gonna perform too.?" she asked again

"Mmm. Daehyun oppa's friends are gonna perform. Yongguk oppa and Himchan oppa are gonna rap while Youngjae oppa will sing. He really has a nice voice, and Yo-yoseob oppa too" IU hesitated, not wanting to say Yoseob's name

"I've heard Yoseob sing once. I saw him on TV. He really has a nice voice, so soothing" she sighed dreamily

IU gave herself a big slap on the forehead "Should have not said Yoseob oppa's name"

"Ye-yeah. He really has a nice voice" Jieun smiled awkwardly

"But what about Daehyun.? Doesn't he sing.?" 

"Oppa doesn't want to, I don't know why though and honestly, I've never heard oppa sing. Ever. Well there was one time, he sang me a song when I was like 7 years old but I forgot how he sounded like. I wanna hear it again but he doesn't wanna sing. Too bad" IU pouted

"Really.?" she whispered softly

"OKAY.! Enough of the chitchat and in with the study. The exam starts in 30 minutes so we better prepare ourselves" Jieun exlaimed

While eating and studying at the same time, their conversations would always fly anywhere. Passing from one person to another. They all laughed, giggle and even nearly choked to death because of their constant babbling. After they eat, IU waved goodbye to her 2 unnies. Hopping happily, Hyosung and Jieun went to their classroom with their arms linked together

"Oh. Daehyun-ah" Jieun said as she opened their classroom door. "Where's Youngjae.?"

"God knows where. I left the guys like 2 hours ago" Daehyun replied. "That annoying girl performing was making my head ache"

Hyosung laughed "EVERY girl would make your head ache"

"Precisely" he smirked, but covering his mouth as he leaned his arms on his table

Jieun took a glance at the two and smiled to herself "Oh right. I forgot to give IU something. Hyosung-ah, I'll just go to her classroom first. I'll be right back"

Hyosung nodded her head "Arasso" .After Jieun left, she sat on her chair and leaned her head against the table. "Yah. Are you ready for the exams.?"

"I'm always ready" Daehyun responded

"Lucky you. Must be nice to never feel anxious or nervous at all" she sighed

"Hmm. Maybe"

"Yah"

"Aaahhh waaee.??!!" he said, annoyed at her calling him 'YAH'

She chuckled, staring at the white board in front of her "Do you like to exchange brains with me.? Just for today's Math exam"

"If I exchange brains with you, my whole nervous system would be affected by your pabo-ness"

"YAH.!" she yelled, turning her body around

"Yah. We haven't even taken the exam and you're already yelling at me. Just wait until the exam, I'm sure LUCKY will give you good luck" he said

"Is this really mine.?" she smiled

"I told you, if it doesn't work, then give it back"

Before she could say anything again, Jieun came back. Five minutes had passed, the classroom was now filled with students, doing a recap of what they studied. Hyosung was just leaning her arms onto the table as she fiddled with her lucky charm bracelet while Daehyun was talking with his friends at the back. Seconds later, their teacher walked in, holding a stack of white worksheets

"Please be easy. Please be easy" Hyosung prayed quietly as the teacher passed them their inidividual exam worksheets

Daehyun looked at her back side "You can do it"

Surprisingly, Hyosung knew the answers, not practically everything but just the exact score for her to pass. When all of them finished checking their papers, she closed her eyes as she tried to take a peek of her score "Please LUCKY let me pass. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE"

"What score did you get.?" Jieun asked

"You look at it." she said, passing her the paper

Jieun slowly unfolded the paper then stared at her "Omo Hyosung-ah.! YOU PASSED.! Yeeyy.! You passed Math.!"

"Really.?! Really.?! Really.?! Really.?!" she asked over and over againm grabbing the paper from Jieun to confirm it herself. "OMO.! I passed the Math midterm's exam.!!"

"Now with this improvement, you can probably pass the finals.!!" Jieun exclaimed

"Gomawo Jieun-ah. Thank you for helping me" she smiled

"Hey, that's what friends are for" Jieun smiled back. "But don't you have anyone else to thank for.?"

She was right. Jieun was right, she did have someone else to thank for. Looking around the classroom, she tried to find that one person who gave her a lucky charm, but soon failed. Smiling widely at her friend, she quickly left the room and ran down the hallway. Then spotting Daehyun walking towards his car with his friends

"YAH.! DAEHYUN-AH.!" she shouted, her feet dragging her way up to him

Daehyun recognized that voice. That voice that would rarely call him by his name. That voice that would always call him 'YAH'. He slowly turned around to see a smiling figure running towards him "Pabo girl, why do you keep on saying YA----"

Hyosung suddenly hugged him. So tight that it made him froze "I passed the Math exam"

"Ya-yah. It's just the midterm exams. You don't have to exaggerate that much" he said, trying to keep calm

She shook her head, her hug getting much tighter "Anniya. I already thanked Jieun but I also wanna thank you. Even though we're frenemies, thank you for giving me lucky. Thank you for being my friend"

"Hyung.! Hyung.! Hyung.! Hyosung is hugging Daehyun.! HUGGING DAEHYUN.! And he didn't even budge. Not one bit.!" Youngjae exclaimed, totally surprised at the scene

Yongguk and Himchan just nodded their head, mouth wide open in shock

The two of them just stood there for about 40 seconds, with Hyosung still hugging Daehyun. "Ya-yah. Yo-you can let go now" he said

Hyosung slowly softened her grip on him, staring at his dark chocolate orbs. "Gomawo" she smiled as she shook her wrist infront of him and ran back off to the school buidling

"What just happened.?" he whispered to himself. "Did I just let her hug me.?"
