Chapter 8

-Hidden place of mine-

Morning came and as everyday routine I went to the university with my friends and new found friends.. we walk to our designated classrooms and listen to our professors..

It was our 3^rd subject before lunch break and I feel vibration from my pants.. and it came from my phone.. I look at our professor and I make sure he won’t see me using phone since its prohibited.. I hid it under my desk and read the text message..

Its from kyu..

From:kyu

Let’s meet after lunch at the rooftop I have something to tell.. look at your professor he might see you using your phone!!

Eh?! After lunch? At the rooftop again?? As I read the line “.. look at your professor he might see you using your phone” I look at mr. Park and saw him looking at me

“Mr. Lee Hyukjae.. what are you doing?” he said and stop writing and facing me

“uhmm.. sir? I was just checking my desk sir.. something is itchy here” I lied and immediately hid my phone and act like it was itchy at all

“eh? Are you ok? You can switch chairs if you like” Mr. Park said and smile

This professor of ours is my favorite professor so nice and his smile is so heartwarming..

After the class ended me and my 2 friends went to the cafeteria to of course eat.. while we are eating..

“its from kyu right? Your text message” hae said while eating

“eh?” I said like I was shock since they know its from kyu

“our dear eunhyukkie we all know here its from kyu.. like the other time.. you didn’t have to hide it” sungmin said and smile

I blush but nod immediately.. as I was eating I check the time and remember kyu’s text a while ago..

“uhmm.. hae? Sungmin? I need to go.. I have something to do” I said and stood right away

“meeting kyu??” hae said while laughing

“not too loud you fishy!!” I hissed

I walk away immediately and head toward the rooftop.. as open the door I saw no one not even kyu.. is he late again like the first time I saw him here.. I walk inside and sit in the chair near the railings..

“where is he?” I said and tilt my head up and to my surprise I saw him on top of me..

“waaaahh!!!!” I scream and stood up while blushing

“waiting for me?” he said then grin

When did he have time to come near me without me noticing him?! is he a ninja?! This guy is really something

“don’t you ever do that… again!!!” I said while glaring at him

“your occupied with something that’s why I do that.. your thinking about something.. what is it?” he ask and sit on the chair im sitting before

“nothing important.. so why did you texted me? Please tell it immediately since we still have class to attend” I said and lean on the railings

“don’t attend the class..we are going somewhere” he said and put his chin in his hand like looking at something interesting

“stop looking at me like that” I said and refuse looking at him

“why?” he said still looking at me

“where are we going?” changing the topic..

Why is he looking at me like that? Is there something in my face?! Its melting me already and my heart is beating so fast if he continue like this I might get an heart attack!!!

“why are you blushing?” he said and stood up and walk towards me

“I’m….not” I said but I’m pretty sure my face is already red

“really? I can see your red face” he said and his face is inches on my face

My body started to freeze up and I don’t why I cant move or push him away.. why?!

“let’s go” he whisper at me in my ears and it makes me feel Goosebumps

After he do that he walk away and proceed to the door but before he open it he look at me with that smile and said..

“come ‘on.. lets go” he said

I walk towards him and get out of the rooftop.. as we walk in the hallway where he was leading the way towards the place we will go since I don’t have the idea where we are going.. as we keep on walking and walking I notice him entering our school library

“kyu?” I call him

He look at me and walks toward me

“why are we here?” I ask

“ahh.. yes! I forgot to tell you we are going to my secret place.. other than the garden area” he said and walk away and go to this place where there is a sign

“DON’T ENTER”

“kyu wait” I said and run towards him

“welcome to my secret place” he said and open the door

I can see completely different books there, a blackboard and a sofa.. this is completely a paradise to a bookworm person like him..

“come in” he said

And I walk inside and he close the door

“this is my second hidden place make sure not to tell this to anyone ok? Everyone in our school knows this room is a storage room ok?” he said and sit on the sofa and pat the space beside him

“ok” I said while roaming my eyes in the place

“this place is really a paradise for you  right kyu?” I said and look at him and smile

Seeing him in a relax mode is like seeing a baby sleeping.. he is like he don’t have problems to take care of..

“hyukie?” kyu said

“what? What did you call me?!” I said and I was so shock calling me like that

He never call em that other than monkey or eunhyuk.. why all of a sudden he call me hyukie?

“hyukie” he said and smile

“y…yes?” I answer back

“here.. this is a duplicate of this room so you can come here anytime you want” he said and hand over the key to me

“ohh” I said and get the key and put it in my pocket

“is this all? Showing me this room? Can I.. uhmmm.. go now?” I ask and look at kyu

He stood up and get one of the book in the shelves.. and sit beside me again

“no” he said while looking at the book

“ok”I said

And a complete silent tone occupied the room we can hear the sound of the air coming from the window because of the silence..

I don’t like the complete silence here.. I should talk

“kyu..” I whisper

“yes?” he ask and look at me

“nothing” I said and look away

He look at his book again.. aah.. why I he’s not talking at me and only looking at his book.. can I just get the book and tore it apart?! And why am I jealous on that book anyway?!

As he reading his book and me just sitting there thinking about stuff he started to talk

“what time is it now?” he ask and I look at the time

Eh?! Its already 5pm?! Did we waste time that much?! Wow!!!

“its already 5pm” I said

He close the book and stood and put it back again to where it was place

“let’s go I will bring you home its already late” he said

He walk out of the door and  look at me

“palle” he said

Woah!! What’s with this guy.. here he goes again being cold at me!! He change into 360 degrees!! Did that book change him I really should get that book and tore it into pieces!!! That book is an evil one..

I walk out of the room and he put the key on the keyhole and lock it and walk out without waiting me..

“kyu? Ill just.. uhmm.. get my bag” I said and walk away towards my room

“ok ill wait for you in the field” he said and walk away without looking at me

What did I do? I just silently looking at him or the things inside the room a while ago.. is he mad at me as I was thinking I immediately run and after a minute I saw him in the field waiting

“hi” I said

“let’s go” he said and walk while me? Im walking in his back

I fell so scared about this kyu’s side.. I don’t like this feeling and his attitude towards me..

I feel so unsecured and I feel like he was back to old kyu before we met.. being like that..

I run on his side and put my hands in his hand and look at him

I saw him looking at him with a shock in his face.. but I just smile and walk beside him having his hand o my hand..

Now can I accept the fact that I like this guy? Oh.. I love this guy..

As we are walking towards my house.. all the way here silence occupied us and I don’t really like that..

“kyu? Are you ok?” I ask and all he can do is nod

“are you sure?” I ask again and he nod

“ok” I said and look at the road towards our house

As we reach our house..

“im going in now” I said but he called me so I look at him

“hyuk?” he said

“yes?” I said and walks toward him

“sorry for today.. I was just thinking about something” he said and put his head down

I walk at him put my hand in his right cheek and make sure he looks at me

“its ok.. maybe something really bother you.. just don’t do it again ok? Its.. uhmm.. I don’t like you being cold on me” I said and smile

Before I walk away to get in something caught my ears as he said something..

“hyukie?

Did you know loving you is like being so breathless?” he said

“eh?” I look at him with a confuse eyes

“I can’t breathe hyuk” he said

And before I can say something he run away and leave me confuse..

What was that?? Is he ok?? He can’t breathe?? I should call him later.. And enter our house..
