-Acceptance-

-LEETEUK’S POV-

I was sitting beside kangin as we watch the tv.. we laugh as the comedian was telling on the guest but we are interrupted by a call..

I stare at the caller and look at kangin

“who was it?” he ask as I look at him

“kyu” I answered then pick up the call

As I answered the phone the first thing kyu said was..

“hyung…help me..” he said like he was in pain or something

My heart beat so fast as I hear my dongsaeng said those words and I got up on my seat as I saw kangin got shock on my actions

“where are you?!” I ask immediately as I run to our room and grab the keys and my wallet and run towards the door but someone grab my hand and I look at kangin

“where are you going?” he ask without a smile and a stern look in his eyes

“I’m going to kyu.. he needs help” I said as I release his touch and immediately run towards the car but before I can enter the driver’s area kangin push me and sit on that area and understanding that action I run towards the other sear and got interrupted by kyu’s voice on the other line

“going…home… 2 streets… away from … our house” he answered

But before I can answer I heard a loud thud

“kyu?! Kyu!!! Kyu!!” I yelled on the other line as he didn’t answer on my yelling

I look at kangin and I know my tears where falling

“angel.. don’t cry.. where’s kyu?” kangin said as he hold my hands and he smile

“2 streets away from his house” I answered as I look on my hands as I don’t know what to do

As we reach the street we got off the car and started to walk so we can find kyu easily.. as we pass on a certain light we saw a figure on the ground like he fainted or something.. I ran on that figure as my mind was telling it was kyu.. as we got nearer I saw the face of my dongsaeng with his eyes close and in pain

“kyu!!” I said as I grab his body to rest on mine

“wake up.. please kyu wake up” I said as I cried myself up and hug him

“angel.. we need to go to the hospital to monitor kyu’s condition let’s go!” kangin said as he get kyu’s body on mine and he run towards the car and I followed him as I reach the car I saw kangin placing kyu in the back seat as he set on his area and I run to my area and settled down..

“kyu” I said as my tears can’t stop from falling as I saw my dongsaeng in pain

“call siwon angel..” kangin said as he was looking on the drive way

I look at my phone and to him.. this guy beside me is really like a father.. if he was not with me I wonder if I can do this or even think on going to the hospital or even calling his brother..

I dialed siwon’s number and waited for him to answer

“hello?” siwon said as he answered my call

“siwon?” I ask

“ne hyung?” he said as he was waiting for me to say something

“come over to the hospital where you got confined kyu fainted and we are now going there” I said as I heard him rushing on the other line and a minute after he ended the call

I look at kyu in the mirror as I look at his face..

Kyu.. be strong.. you can do it.. don’t ever think on leaving us everyone will be sad.. Specially hyuk.. be strong for us.. you’re happy life will just starting kyu.. you need to be strong.. you dotn want to leave your brother and hyuk right? Please kyu

As we arrive on the hospital we immediately go out and kangin get kyu in the back sit and rush inside

“help!” I yelled as the nurse rush towards us

“what happen?” the nurse said as he look at kyu and to us

“he has a tumor in his brain.. he got fainted due to the pain” I said as she look at me

“get the stretcher palle!!” the nurse said as he instructed to the others as they immediately get one and place kyu on it as we all look at kyu lying on the stretcher

“you can’t come in.. please just wait outside” the nurse said as they faded as she close the door

“be strong” I whisper and kangin look at me and hug me

Minutes later I saw siwion rushing towards us and stop as he catch his breathe

“what happen hyung?” he ask me and I look at him

“he just called me a while ago asking for help.. I rush where he was and saw him lying on the road” I said as he look at me and loosen his balance good thing kangin was there and catch siwon

“is everything alright?” he ask again looking at me as he sit lifelessly on the floor

“I don’t know.. they are still inside as they were checking on hiim” I said as I look on the floor and tears came out again

Silence occupied all 3 of us as we just stare on space as we are waiting on kyu..

-KYUHYUN’S POV-

I open my eyes as I saw only a white ceiling and a familiar smell which I once smelled when I was confined for the first time with siwon hyung..

I look around seeing kangin hyung, siwon hyung and leeteuk hyung sleeping on the coach.. I look at the clock and it was midnight..

All I can remember is the pain in my head as I was walking going home and darkness claimed me..

I close my eyes as I feel weak but happy as the pain was gone already.. I open my eyes when I hear a rustling sound and saw leeteuk hyung standing and saw me looking at him

“kyu!!” he yelled and that was the time the 2 sleeping person beside him open their eyes looking at leeteuk and to me

“oh my god! Are you ok?” leetuek hyung ask as he run towards me and so does siwon hyung

“ne.. the pain is already gone” I answered as I look on their worried eyes

“are you sure?” siwon hyung ask as he look at me

“ne hyung” I said and smile

“aish!! Yah kyu.. you make me nervous right there!! You almost killed me!!” leetuek hyung said as he look at me

“don’t worry hyung.. you will not I’m the one dying here remember?” I answered jokingly as I laugh

As I laugh hard on my joke I didn’t notice the hand flying towards me and all I can feel is the pain on my cheeks as someone slap me hard

I look at who was it and saw leeteuk hyung glaring t me furiously and tears was on his eyes

“don’t you ever say that again” he said as tears flowing non stop

I got shock on what leeteuk hyung did and lowered my face as I look on my hands

“mianhe hyung” I said as I was just looking on my hands as I can’t look on leeteuk’s eyes

I saw leeteuk hyung stand and leave the room and kangin hyung rush to follow him

“kyu.. never say that again” siwon hyung said as he was looking t me

“leeteuk hyung said was really upset on what you said.. as you can see he was dead worried on you.. and keep on crying nonstop ever since we got here.. and all he can here was those lame joke of you.. that’s really a bad idea kyu” he continued

“I’m sorry hyung” I said

“you will not die kyu remember that” he said as he look at me

“no need to tell those things hyung.. I know I will die no one survive this kind of disease” I said as I lie down and stare on the ceiling

Siwon hyung didn’t say anything as he just stare at me while I show an expressionless face and close my eyes

“be strong” he said as he grab my hands but still I didn’t want to open it

As time goes by I heard the door open and I know it was kangin hyung and leeteuk hyung who came in

“angel.. sleep now” kangin hyung said

I think they thought I was sleep..

“I don’t want kangin” leeteuk hyung said

“sleep angel.. you keep on crying and you’re exhausted” kangin hyung said

“I said I don’t want” leeteuk hyung said again

I open my eyes looking on leeteuk hyung

“listen to kangin hyung leeteuk hyung.. he was worried on you.. don’t let him feel those things..” I said and leeteuk hyung got surprised and look at me

He just sigh and grab kangin hyung’s hand and lie down on his lap and close his eyes.. kangin hyung smiled at me and I nod as I close my eyes again

Morning came and we waited for the doctor to came as he leeteuk hyung said that he will be telling us something important..

As we chat on things the doctor came and look at us..

“mr. cho kyuhyun?” he said as he look at me

“ne” I said to him

“I’m dr. han I’ll be the one in charge in your condition” the dr. said as he bowed on me

As I look at the dr. he don’t look like he was a Korean.. I smiled at me and he smiled back

“soo.. how was my condition?” I ask  I don’t mind knowing my condition since I already prepared on that

“as you can see mr. cho.. you’re condition is not normal.. your illness is one that it is hard to be cured.. but we are trying to find ways for your sickness.. but right now just cherish everything and the people around you” dr. han said as he lowered his head and sympathize my condition

I look at him and tears flow in my eyes

“how long does my life last?” I ask as I look at him

I hate to hear everything but I know that I need to know my condition

“I really don’t know mr. cho just cherish everything” he said

“excuse me” he said as he leave the room

I just stare at the door and think about everything.. as the doctor said I should cherish everything.. but how?? Knowing I have limited time how should I do it?? Tears keep falling in my eyes as I think about the things I don’t want to do specially the fact of leaving hyukie behind.

As I cried on my situation I can hear teukie’s cry on kangin’s arms as he cried on my condition.. I know leeteuk hyung is the first one who will cry on my situation since he’s a cry baby.. but when I look at siwon hyung he just stare on the floor as I can see droplets from his eyes falling and I know that he’s thinking about it..

Being with them somehow makes my feeling a bit ok but as soon as hyukie crosses my mind I feel hurt..

“everything will be alright kyu.. if this hospital will never cure you.. we go somewhere where they can cure you even if it’s in America” siwon hyung said as he holds my hand

I smiled on him as he said those words but I kow that this illness is without cure.. yes! Since the time I heard about my condition I started researching about this disease and I know that having this illness will make my body suffer and will leave everything behind as the body started to weaken and give up..

“hyung.. no need.. there’s no cure” I said as I look at him

“YAAAHH!!! DON’T YOU EVER SAY THAT!! WE WILL DO ANYTHING TO MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER!! TO MAKE FEEL ALRIGHT!! WE SAY EVERYTHING TO YOU TO MAKE YOU FELL HAPPY AND NOT TO BE SCARED!! BUT LOOK AT YOU ALWAYS SAYING THOSE WORDS!!!” leeteuk hyung stood up and yelled at me

I look at him as I heard those words I can’t help to shout and cried

“I know.. you want me to be strong.. you want me to fight.. but how come can I fight if I know I have nothing to fight with?! This illness is no cure hyungs.. everyone with this disease will die!! I’m afraid to leave all of you.. I’m afraid to leave hyukie and my child!! I’m a father now!! I want to see my child to grow up and not to grow without a father.. but how can I do that if my lifespan is short because of this damn sickness!!” I said as I punch the pillow to release my anger

Everyone shut their mouth as I relase everything and only stare at the space..

I sigh as I lay down on my bed and but the cover on my face

I feel like I have a sand time.. hearing those sands goes down as my lifespan shorten..

Tictoc..

Everything now is a mess.. I want to tell hima bout my condition but I know it will hurt him and as long as I’m leaving and he’s with me everything will be a mess not only on my life but also to him.. it may also cause for the miscarriage.. I don’t want to lose my child.. if ever I will no longer be here he will take care of hyukie and will make him remember me..

As I close my eyes the last tears came out from my eyes..

The light coming from the window makes me wake up and the door shut open revealing dr. han

“good morning” he said as he smiled back

The people around us slowly wake up and look at him

“good morning” I answered back but just show my poker face

“can I leave now?” I ask as I look at him

“I believe you can’t.. we need to monitor your condition” he said as he was looking at his folder

“but I need to! You said to cherish every moment.. I need to do something!” I said as I glare on him

“but..” he said and look at me

“let him” siwon hyung said as he lok at dr. han

And after he thinks for a while he nod but reminded me

“if anything happen immediately go here. Also we can only give you time for doing everything since you need to stay here so we can monitor you” he said as he look at me

“ne.. I understand” I said

Dr. han nod at me and smile then leave

“what’s your plan?” siwon hyung ask me

“I don’t know.. but I will make sure that whatever hyukie might feel about this things I will make it last for a minute.. I don’t want him to suffer for the hurt I will give him” I said as I get my sandals and put my clothes on

“but whether you like it or not he will get hurt” leeteuk hyung said

“I know but I will make sure what I will do will lessen the pain” I said and look at them as I open the door

“where are you going?!” kangin hyung said as he look at me

“school.. I need to go there..hyukie might be suspicious why I’m not there” I said

Everyone look at me and nod then accompany me to the school as we go to our respective classes

But all those time I never listen to class all I think is the plan I need to do.. since my time has a limit I need to do it as much as possible.. I need to do it.. I need it

As I think about it.. tears come up to my face and cried

“I need to do it.. even though it’s killing my heart”
