Chapter 16

“Is everything settled?” Taeyeon asked to Yul who looks so nervous.

“Yeah!” Yul said as he releases a deep breath. Taeyeon chuckled seeing his friend’s reaction making the tan guy looks up to him annoyingly.

“What?” Yul asked.

“Why are you so nervous?” Taeyeon asked.

Yul sighs then leans backward to his chair. “I don’t know. I just feel nervous.”

“Listen bro, first you guys are already married so why would she say no. Second I’m pretty sure she likes you too so relax.” Taeyeon explained.

Suddenly Yul’s phone rang interrupting their talk. He furrowed his brow upon seeing the person’s name calling him.

“Yoong?” Yul said to Taeyeon, the latter raised a brow.

“I don’t think it’s the right time to tell him.” Yul said. Taeyeon just shrugged his shoulders. Yul then answered the call.

“Yoong.” Yul said to the other line.

“HYUNG? Where are you?” Yoong asked.

“I’m at the office.” Yul answered.

“Are you going somewhere later?”

“No, I’ll head home from here.” Yul lied. He heard the guy sighs in relief.

“Alright then take care.” Yoong said then hangs up.

“That was just weird.” Yul said.

Yoong didn’t waste any time he walks towards his car. He needs to save his family.

“Seohyun.” Yoong knows that the younger Jung will be home by five so he decided to go to her university. He waited there for hours and when he saw the girl about to leave the university he gets out the car and head to the girl quick.

“Seohyun!” Yoong shouted to get the girls’ attention. The girl creased her brow upon seeing Yoong. Not long enough the guy manages to get to Seohyun.

“What are you doing here Yoong~shi.” Seohyun asked.

“I’m here to fetch you.” The guy said then took the books from her. “Let’s go!” Yoong said then grab her hands with his free ones, they walk towards the car. The girl was still confused with how the guy acted but then she didn’t say a word. The ride was too quiet leaving an awkward atmosphere inside the cold car. When they got home Yoong told her not to go out, then the guy just leaves.

“He’s so weird!” Seohyun shook her head as her eyes follow the leaving Yoong.

Yoong sighs as he turns on the engine of his car.

“Next stop, Jessica.”

Yoong drove to Jung Corp and tries to get there as fast as he could but unfortunately Jessica already left. The secretary said she left with Kim Taeyeon and Tiffany.

“At least she’s not alone.” Yoong thought.

“Why are we going to the mall?” Jessica asked Taeyeon. She was expecting a special place as what Yul said. “And why are you guys together?” Jessica shifted her look from Taeyeon to Tiffany.

“Your attire for your date is not appropriate so we’ll go buy one since it was too tiring if we go to your house.” Taeyeon explained while driving.

“And Tiffany?” Jessica asked again.

“Well I don’t know how girls shops so I asked her to tag along.” Taeyeon said. Tiffany flashed a smile along with her eyes.

“Since when did these two become so comfortable with each other?” Jessica thought, she then just leaned her back and threw a glance outside.

“I just want to see my Seobang right now.”

Yul was looking at himself in front of the mirror. He was at home to freshen up for his big date. Finally he’s going to confess to his princess. He was about to turn around when he noticed a brown envelope. He took it and checks what’s inside. Yul shook his head as he reads the papers. It was the divorce paper his lawyer gave him way back when he asked Jessica to supposedly settle their divorce. Just then his phone rang he took it out and reads the message.

From: Taeng

We’re about to leave the mall get your to the resort now.

Yul laughs at his best friend’s message but then he suddenly felt nervous again. He shook his head and reverted his attention back to the divorce papers.

“This is so not needed anymore.”  Yul said as he threw the paper away and it landed on his bed. He’ll get rid of it later but for now he has a date. Yul leaves his room excitedly and heads to his car. The moment he closed the door of their house he saw the bodyguards lying on the ground. He was about to move when something hard hits his head. His vision blurs as his body hits the ground.

“Take him.” One guy said. The other two followed the guy’s order.

“At least she’s not alone.” Yoong thought to himself while he’s heading towards his car. They just got home from Seohyun’s university. As he gets closer he noticed Yul’s car. His brow twitched. He walks closer towards his brother’s car and noticed a paper on the wiper. He took it and was shocked with what’s written.

“TOO LATE WE ALREADY HAVE YOUR BROTHER.”

Yoong cursed under his breath upon reading the letter. He crumpled the paper as he releases a harsh breath. He don’t know what to do, he was clueless with everything.

“If something happens to Yul I won’t forgive myself.”  Yoong said as he weakly leans on the car. Just then his phone rang. He immediately answered it.

“Hello.” Yoong answered.

“What’s up Kwon Yoong, I’m pretty sure you know what’s happening by now.” The guy from the other line said.

“Where is my brother? If you hurt him I swear I’ll kill you!” Yoong said angrily.

“We’ll It’s up to you if he’ll be hurt or not!”

“What do you mean?” Yoong asked.

“I’ll send you the address after this call so you better be here quick before I lose my patience!” The guy said then hangs up. Not long enough he received a message telling him the address. He did not waste any time he hops in to his car and drove quickly.

…

“We’re leaving you here now Jessica, just wait for Yul.” Taeyeon while smiling at her, she returns the smile and look at Tiffany suspiciously. Tiffany just smiled to her awkwardly.

“Bye Jessie! Have fun” Tiffany said.

“Why do I have the feeling that I won’t be the only one who’ll be having fun tonight?” Jessica said leaving an icy impact on the two.

“Just wait for Yul okay.” Taeyeon said then looks at Tiffany. “Let’s go.”

Tiffany waved at her and followed Taeyeon.

Jessica is now left alone.

“Seobang~ah please get here quick!”

Taeyeon and Tiffany walks in hand in hand as they heads to the dinner Taeyeon prepared on the same resort where Yul will propose. He can’t help but smile since this morning when he heard the good news from Yul this morning. He’s very happy for his best friend.

“You seem very happy for Yul and Jessica TaeTae.” Tiffany said making the guy looks down to her.

“Yes, I am! I’m so happy that he finally thinks of his own happiness. He deserves it. But then the thing I’m happier about is meeting you.” Taeyeon said making the red hair blush.

“But TaeTae what is really the story of the Kwon twins.” Tiffany asked making Taeyeon stops from walking.

“Well……

Yoong walks towards the place with heavy steps. He took out his phone and calls the guy who he called him a while ago. He heard a couple of rings before the guy answered.

“I’m here now, where are you at?” Yoong said.

“Wait a second.” The guy answered. Not long enough he saw two guys heading towards him. One signaled to follow them so Yoong did. They entered an old building and he was shocked when he saw Yul unconscious and tied up in a chair and his head bleeding, he was about to run to him when the guys stopped him.

“Not so fast Kwon Yoong!” A big guy shouted, he was unfamiliar to him, behind the guy is another one hiding.

“Come on little brother come out for him to know who they should not go against with.” The big guy instructed. The smaller guy reveals himself shyly making Yoong laugh.

“So it’s because of this crap?” Yoong said not believing what he is seeing.

“You should not just hit people when you want to!” The guy yelled. “Well it doesn’t matter now.” The guy continued lowering his voice. “because you have a decision to make.”

Yoong gritted his teeth.

“It’s nothing new to you since we’re just going to reenact things.” The guy smirked. He signaled one guy to open the television. It was Jessica. Yoong clenched his fist tightly. The guy signaled again, one guy took a bucket of water and splashed it to the unconscious Yul making Yoong cursed. Yul looks up weakly.

“Let’s begin.” The guy said. “You see we have your brother here who is about to propose to Jessica Jung, and of course you. Familiar situation isn’t it? I’m actually leaving a choice which your brother also had three years ago. The only difference is of course it’s your time to choose. Who’s going to live?”

“I’m gonna ing kill you!” Yoong shouted.

“DENG! Unfortunately that’s not on the choices.”

Yoong tried to escape from the guy’s grip.

“Is it your brother or Jessica?”

…

“So that’s why Yul is so protective to Yoong.” Tiffany asked to Taeyeon after the latter told her the story.

“Yes and he’ll do everything for Yoong. Even if it……kills him.

…

“Geez! What’s taking that stupid Seobang so long? I swear he’ll feel my wrath once he got here!” Jessica hissed. But then she’s still going to wait for him.

“Because he told me to wait and so I will.” Jessica told to herself.

“Yoong choose Jessica.” Yul said weakly as he coughs blood.

Yoong eyed his brother. “hyung.”

sorry if this took so long!!!

gezzz my professor asked us to design a freak'n island resort! LOL i never been to one. if only he doesn't look like shindong I'll hate him LOL..

anyway here you go guys, i hope you enjoy this chapter.. and unfortunately i'm not on the choices either so you can't kill me!! keke.
