NOTE: the map ontop is similar to my school's map hahah except it was a middle school and an elementry school! hahah that is how i kinda imagined hyukkie's and hae's school for this fan fic. if you imagined it differently than disregard this pic since i would rather leave how things look up to the reader. the reason i made this map was to avoid confusion ^^

Eunhyuk's POV

I paced outside my coaches office thinking about whether I should just be a coward and run out the exit and never look back or to be a man and face his wrath.

"I really want to be a coward..." I mumbled as I chewed on my nails. 

"Ugh!!" I scratched the back of my neck before swiftly opening the door without knocking for permission.

Now or never Eunhyuk!!!

"I'M SO SORRY! I CAN'T PLAY IN TODAYS GAME! MY LEG ISN'T HEALED AND EVEN IF IT WAS I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT I CAN'T EVEN MAKE THE DUMB SHOTS FROM THE FREE THROW LINE! PLEASE FORGIVE ME! I KNOW I HAVE LET YOU AND THE ENTIRE TEAM DOWN! GO AHEAD AND MAKE ELI CAPTAIN I KNOW I DON'T DESERVE TO LEAD SUCH A HARD WORKING TEAM WITH MY LACK OF CONFIDENCE AND USEFULNESS!"

I looked up and saw my coach with his mouth open and a sandwich in mid air. 

"Uhhh."

I could tell the coach was in utter shock since he continued to blink, trying to absorb what I had just confessed.

"Coach?"

"Well Enhyuk I knew you wouldn't be able to play since you were released from the doctor. The only reason I let gave you  a chance to play was because I knew you would be angry if I had prohibited you from playing. I mean come on Eunhyuk you barely got your cast removed! If you think you would be able to play with your full ability... I'm sorry but you can't at least not now. Anyways... Eli won't be captain. The rest of the members already look up to you and respect you. Even if you can't play today you need to be there for moral support."

I could feel the tears in my eyes begin to gather together.

"C-coach.."

"Shh! Don't cry Eunhyuk! Go take a rest... Basketball season my be over but we still need to raise money at the next carnival, which you will be in charge of, and have a farewell party for the seniors. You're gonna be the one planning it along with another member. You under-  Get off of me! I'm trying to eat you punk!" I squeezed my wonderful coach in a tight embrace.

I could feel his muscles twitches which was a warning to get the hell away from him.

I ran out the door before my coach made me wax the court for hugging him like he usually does when I annoy him.

Once I was outside I checked my watch to make sure I had time to find Hae.

I knew he was hiding from me and I felt a bit bad for blaming the whole thing at him... maybe it was a bit my fault.

"Hyukkie!!" 

Sungmin came running towards me. I backed up from the shivers that I was getting from the crazy smile that he had on his face.

"W-what?"

He jumped up and tackled me to the ground.

"Hyukkie! Lets be friends! The best of friends!"

"What the heck is wrong with you? Didn't you hate me?"

"No well I mean just as long as you don't touch my Kyu we will be fine." He smiled while looking dead at my eyes and crushing my wrist in his palm.

"Whatever I never hit on him!"

"Lets keep it that way." He giggled before getting off of me and skipping away.

"What the heck is going today?" I got off of the ground and headed towards the other side of campus to get to Hae. 

He may be a genius when it comes to his school work but when he hides its obvious to where he goes. I ran across the courtyard and climbed the fence. and walked a bit through the forest until the familiar place came into view. 

I grinned as memories began to flood my mind.

I never once had thought that the friend who saved me that time would end up meaning the world to me. 

I examined the area in search of Hae who was probably soaking and crying his eyes out.

Of course I was right. Hae was sitting next the cave entrance with his head in hanging low, in between his legs.

A small smile found its way to my face. 

Only Hae could be so devastated over a little fight.

"Hae? Are you okay?"

He quickly looked up with a bright smile but it soon faded into a frown.

"Hyukkie... I'm so sorry!"

"Hae. It's fine you dumby! I was at wrong you shouldn't be apologizing stupid. If you don't remember I'M the one who came onto you" I grabbed his hand and led him out of the cave.

"Hyukkie..."

"Come on lets go to class." He intertwined our fingers and swung them as we slowly made our way towards the school.

It was completely quiet except for the sound of the children yelling and laughing at a distance.

"Hae... I wish we could stay like this forever." I felt my cheeks begin to flush at my sudden confession. I could feel his gaze at me as squeezed my hand.

"We will. As long as I'm here, in this world, I won't let you escape. You're stuck with me." 

"Hmm than does that mean you're going to lock me up?"

"If I have to." I looked up at him, surprised at his response. "No Hyukkie. I'm kidding I couldn't do that but I will do my best to make you keep looking at me and not at someone else so that you won't have a reason to go."

I looked down at our hands that were intertwined. It was a bit weird to look at them since they were both strong and well defined hands. Both had scars and bumps that were proof of the hard, rough work we had been through. They didn't look like the hands, that hold each other, that is usually seen in public or read about in stories. One wasn't beautiful or soft or being well protected by the other but rather they both seemed to be equally matched in strength, size, and roughness. 

"Hae I feel like I robbed you from becoming a father."

"What? What are you talking about?" Hae turned to look at me with confusion written all over his face.

"I-I what if you weren't meant to be with me? What if you were actually meant to be with a fine and a kind woman who would have bore children you would have loved?... I can't help but think about this. If I had just kept ignoring you or not have looked back would you have met her?"

"Hyukkie..."

"Hae I'm afraid that I ruined you."

"Eunhyuk look at me." I looked back him as he tenderly smiled at me. He cupped my face and covered my eyes with butterfly kisses.

"I should be afraid not you! Look I made you confused. I stole your innocence. I destroyed your world and forced you into mine. I forced myself into you heart and burned myself deep inside it so that you wouldn't leave me. If anyone stole or ruined someone it would be me. I can't say I'm sorry because I'm not. I have you and thats all I ever wanted. You are my world. I love you more than my friends, cousins, family, parents. Please don't ever feel insecure about my feelings for you. Don't ever think you've done something wrong. If what we are doing is wrong than I am at fault not you."

"Hae." 

I wrapped my arms around his waist and pulled him close. "Hae" I whispered on his lips before gently pressing my lips onto his. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders. Holding me close. Neither of us tried to deepen the kiss but rather we felt each other warmth, trying to convey our love for each other at the moment.

He slowly  pulled away and grabbed my hand once again as we proceeded back to our destination.

~*~ AFTER SCHOOL (lol after school xD you know like the kpop girl group) ~*~

"EVERYONE ON THE COURT IN 5!"

I glared at Eli who was smirking as he was tying up his shoes.

"Sorry Hyuk but it seems like you have to sit this one out!" He laughed and jogged out the door along with two of my other teammates who muttered their apologizes. 

"Hae one day I will murder Eli and when that day comes I want you to hire the best lawyer!" 

"hahah comere' Hyukkie." Hae spread his arms open. I slowly made my way to him. Once I was in front of him he quickly pulled me into a tight embrace.

"At least you get to spend time with your handsome boyfriend."

"Uhuh spend time cleaning dirty towels" He tilted my chin slightly to the left while slowly closing the distance between our lips.

"But we can always sneak away to have a bit of fun to ourselves." I could feel my body begin to tremble and my face begin to flush.

"I do like the sound of that." I wrapped my arms around his neck. Staring intently at his thin yet inviting lips.

"HEY YOU LOVE BIRDS WE NEED YOU ON THE COURT!" Eli laughed wildly "HAHAHHA DON'T YOU GUYS DARE TO MAKE OUT NEXT TO MY LOCKER!" 

"I'M REALLY GOING TO KILL YOU ELI!!!"

"Catch me if you can slow poke!!" He quickly ran out the locker room as I tried to chase after him but was quickly pulled back.

"What the heck Hae?!"

"Hyukkie your leg isn't healed yet don't run to much." He smiled at my pouting face. "Hahhaha cute Hyukkie kill him later... I'll help you dig a hole." Hae held a serious look that made me wonder whether he was really joking.

"Ha. Ha. Ha. Anyways Hae lets take this towels to the team." we carried the buckets of water and clean towels to the court where people had already begun to gather in the audience. 

The guest side also had a group of fans already gathered.

"Eunhyuk gather the team." Coach commanded as he stood beside me.

"Guys huddle up!" I yelled at the top off my lungs. Despite not playing I still had my jersey on and was supposed to give pet talks throughout the game.

"It looks like the other team, the warriors, are already on campus and headed to the gym. Before they get here which should be in at least six minutes, every single one of you has to warm up by doing a lap around the gym! Now go go go!" He pointed towards the indoor track.

I laughed at Eli who was desperately trying to catch up to Nick, despite knowing that Nick was a hundred times faster than him. Once everyone finished their lap they separated into doubles where they each spotted each other while they did their stretches.

I looked at the audience and noted that we had a complete full house. Maybe it was full of energy because this was the final game of the season or because we would be facing the team who took nationals but nonetheless it felt amazing to be part of this event.

The opposing team where the ones who had stopped our road to the championships and we knew this would be a way to be able to redeem ourselves. Just the thought of being able to come out victorious had me shaking in excitement.

I really wanted to play. 

"Don't worry I'll lead the team to victory! We will avenge you Hyuk!" Eli grinned. He punched my shoulders, a bit to hard, while running to catch up to Nick who was clearly ignoring Eli's rants. 

"That hurt! You better win or I will have your head!" I spat out.

I glanced at the clock displayed on the scoreboard.

5 minutes left till the game starts.

The other team had already arrived and were finished with their stretches as well.

"Line up!" I yelled at the top of my lungs and the team quickly gathered. 

"I won't be playing today but Eli will lead you guys. I know he can do it! He must do it for you seniors who will be moving on. As easily tempered as Eli is I know he won't disappoint. Keep in mind this isn't just a chance to redeem ourselves but also a chance for us to have one last official game with our five graduating seniors... Jaejoong, Yoochun, Yunho, Junsu and Changmin." We loudly clapped and cheered for the group.

"HUDDLE EVERYONE! 1! 2! 3! BEEEARS!"

I looked at Hae who simply gave me a reassuring smile. I looked at the crowd who were going crazy as all the staring players walked onto the court. I could feel all the energy in the room begin to explode. It sent shivers down the spin. It filled me up with excitement and desire to join the rest of my teammates however It also felt good to become a part of the audience rather than be the focus of their attention and to be able to watch my friends become basketball stars.

The game ended as quickly as it began. It was our victory. The one that the seniors could remember as they cross through the graduation stage. An incredible and amazing memory that proved we had a never yielding spirit.

The team headed off to the local hamburger joint in town for a mini-celebration party. The location was designed to look like the restaurants back in the 80s. Not only was the interior carefully designed but the food was amazing. 

Hae was busy talking to Eli he didn't realize the girls at another table were eating him alive, not literarily of course but with their eyes. I threw a glare at one of the girls but she simply scoffed! 

How dare she!? 

She flipped her long brown hair and slowly started getting up while smirking at me. She pulled her mini skirt higher, if possible, and pushed her bangs out of her eyes.

I knew what she was doing. 

I looked at Hae who was sitting beside me as he continued to chat with Eli meanwhile the girl was making her way around our table. All our teammates, except Hae and Eli, stopped eating and watched the bizzo make her way to Hae. She was only a few feet away from Hae in mere seconds, talk about desperation!

"Hey " she stood directly behind Hae. 

I watched as her hand was slowly moving towards Hae's shoulder.

Without thinking I grabbed Hae's head and forced him to face me. I didn't give him a second to react because I than crashed my lips onto his without warning. I nibbled on his lips asking for entrance and he quickly complied. He even took the initiative to pull me closer by the waist. I smirked into the kiss. I pushed him away quickly, smiling lightly at his shocked face. 

"W-what was that for?" He asked with a flushed face.

"No reason. I just felt like it BABE." I made sure to emphasis the last word. I smiled sweetly at Hae who looked a bit confused. After a few seconds he grinned in return and gave me a quick peck on the lips before returning his attention back to Eli. 

I looked back at the who stood at the same spot with a shocked face. It slowly changed from surprise to anger. 

She opened as if to say something but changed her mind since she turned her heel and stomped her way back to her table. I could tell her friends were equally as shocked. 

I felt victorious and proud that is until I remembered that my teammates and my coach had all seen that display. I swallowed the lump in my throat and turned to look at them. They were all chatting within themselves as if nothing had happened.

"I told you they wouldn't care." Eli said for his seat. Nick, who was sitting in front of me and next to Eli smiled lightly "No need to worry now."

I looked at Hae who looked completely lost and looked towards me asking for an explanation.

I smiled at him before returning my attention back to my food.
