"I'm gay"

He's gay.

I felt my blood pressure rising. My hands began to tremble. I don't know why but I felt like i have to leave. Leave before i could say anything that would upset him. I know i would explode on him. I have to get away.

"“……. Donghae I-I think I’m gonna be late for class. I’m gonna go. I will uhh meet you after class?”

I left him. i know it was probably heartless but i need my own time to think. I felt betrayed. He never once hinted at the fact that he was gay not once. 

How does he know he's gay? Maybe he's just confused.....

the entire day passed quickly and it was now time to go to my basketball game. the first half was horrible. I couldn't concentrate. Than I saw Hae standing near the door, watching me. It was comforting knowing he wasn't upset. But he would just stare at me which made me feel a bit uncomfortable; it sent shivers down my spine. A team member of mine shot a 2 pointer that helped up tie with the opposing team. The crowd was going crazy so i figured Hae would also be cheering but instead he continued to stare with no emotion. I hate it when he hides his emotions.

As the second half was about to start Hae did not move. He did, however, smile and yelled good luck. It felt as if the whole stadium was spinning, it was an odd feeling. 

We ended up having a comeback on the second half and won the game. We exited the building where I spotted a figure next to entrance. I knew I wasn't ready to face him ... not yet.

Instead I went into the bus and headed home.

Back in my room I decided to find out how could I could understand Hae more. A research would help me understand but where could i look up information? I definitely don't want people in the library to think I'm a ert so that's out of the question. I can use my computer but I don't want to get into a weird website. Hmmm ooh SORA! Of course she is a comic freak she would probably know where to look.

"Sora! I need your help!"

knock knock knock knock knock

"What do you want?!!!"

"Let me come in~"

know know knock

"Fine! the door is open!"

"Sora i need information"

"About what?"

"Ummm your gay mangas..."

"What?"

"Your gay manhwas or mangas.."

"My whaaat?"

"Your gay manhwas or mangaaas"

"Which mangas?"

"YOUR GAY MANHWAS OR MANGAS!!"

She quickly sat up and stared up at me... I'm really tired of having people stare at me.

"Pffft... Okay there over there.." she pointed on a shelf of books "the third to fifth row.... are you gay?" (lol she owns a lot XD)

"No Sora." i grabbed a basket that she had laying on the ground. "I can use this right?"

"Mhmm"

"Thanks." I grabbed all the books from third shelf and as much as I could from the fourth shelf until the basket was about to overflow.

"Are you really not confused?"

"No! I-I just need research!"

"Is it Hae?" what?! i began to blush madly.

"Of course not! I'm leaving. Thanks for the books."

As I was closing the door, Sora being Sora, began to laugh out loud.

"What the hell Sora?! You almost made me drop the basket! Quiet down a bit." geez

Finally I was able to get the books into my room, without my parents finding out about my project. I wanted to get to the bottom of this. 

After about ten minutes of reading these mangas, i felt my innocence turn into dust and fly away. How can she read these erted stuff. My eyes feel as if they are gonna fall off.

Wait does that means hae will also... nonono he wouldn't! Hae! you are giving me a headache.

I forgot what time I had fallen asleep because when I awoke I was still sleeping on one of the mangas Iwas reading with drool all over the book. well sora is gonna kill me later.

I got to school and spotted Hae standing close to my locker but I couldn't go near as much as I wanted. I can't face him with ideas still flowing through my mind because of those dumb mangas that my sis let me borrow. I need to talk to a human who would understand me... right when i was searching through the crowds for such i person that Heechul walked through the front doors. I mean sure he can be mean and rude but at least he would be truthful and honest. I really want to know why Hae turned gay.

"Hey Prince Chullie" yeah a long time ago he forced me to call him Prince Chullie after he had finished one of my homework assignment that I forgot was due.

"Hyukkie~! What do you want?"

"huh I wasn't gonna ask for anything.." I wish I hadn't blushed, I hate how i can easily blush whenever I become nervous. 

"Uhuh well if you don't tell me i'll tell Hae that your average grade score is a D." 

" No! Please don't. He'll kill me!"

"Than tell me what you want."

ughh "Fine. Can we go somewhere private."

"Sure follow me." 

He lead me down the hallway to a locked door that no one uses not even the janitor because they had new funding to get a better room. "The old janitor's closet?"

"Yup I transformed it into my hideout. Come on in." He unlocked the door and lead me inside.

As I walked through the door I saw that he actually sorted out the room. He had a desk with his laptop and picture frame and two chairs one on each side. He had plants on each corner of the room and paintings hanging on the wall.

"You did this?"

"Of course, well with the help of Hangkyung. Take a seat. Tell me your problems."

"ok.. umm why are you putting on glasses? you have a 20/20 vision."

"Style!! Eunhyuk when you play a part you need to look the part and today I'll be your therapist." 

"..... okay well ummm this friend of mine confessed to me a secret that was mind blowing and I don't know how to respond to it."

"I see so Hae told you he was gay right? and he said he loved you?"

"Yea he did.... WAIT WHAT?!!! I mean sure he told me he was gay, but he does NOT love me hahaha"

"..... Poor Hae he has to deal with this dimwit."

"hahhahah I mean I'm just his best friend! He stole most of the girls I liked if anything he would rather fall in love with a girl than me!"

"I see... well how do YOU feel about him?"

"Well obviously he is my best friend but after he told me he was gay I began to feel weird as if something was wrong but I- at the same time felt happy. I don't want to lose our friendship but I can't look at him straight into his eyes."

"So how have you been dealing with this new revelation?"

"Well I tried doing research but most of it wass erted and I mean Hae wouldn't do those things ... it would be weird. what do you think  should do?"

"hmmm well first thing is you have to talk to him, try to be in his shoes, because ignoring him will just hurt him more. it will make him think you don't want anything to do with him."

"but thats not true!"

"I know thats why you need to talk to him again and be in his life than you need to check if you really do not have feelings that go beyond friendship. I mean you still have time to answer that question but make sure someone else doesn't get to him before you do."

"I don't get what that means."

"You will.. soon."

HAVE I TOLD YOU GUYS HOW AWESOME YOU ARE?!? no? well all of you are! :')  so this is what hyukkie has been doing. he gets confused easily so of course he doesnt know what those fast heart beats mean lol but heechul just pushed him a bit more hopfully he will understand his feeling more in the future keke next chapter  will be from when Hae sees Hyukkie in his room. maybe if i have enough time ill upload it today but not sure XD cuz this took me all morning since i woke up (from 7:30 am to 3 pm but it was worth <3) to write and rewrite and rewrite and publish lol and i actually made it long this time :D thanks to all you!

Ruka29Hawkes LOL yea i was writing this chapter and the last chapter and thought it was to much angst so i rewrote them lol since this more of a fluffy story XD
