Eunhyuk's POV

I had just taken a cold bath to bring myself back into reality but it just wouldn't! I couldn't stop my heart from beating out of my chest. Out of frustration I threw my towel and sat on the edge of my bed, my hands lightly touching the cast on my ankle. 

I wish my ankle would heal soon.

Unlike Hae, who has his future and career in stone, I was still lost in a deep, narrow pit. Basketball was the only thing that kept me from going ballistic in the confined space. It was the only thing that felt real. I know I'm not even close to becoming a professional player but the exciting rush I get while I play is more than enough to make me forget about my dead-end future. Without it, I wouldn't be able to cope with this disturbing fact. 

"HYUKKIE~! SORA~! MOMMAS HOME~ I BROUGHT OVER TWO GUESTS!!" 

I quickly wiped off the watery evidence of my self-loathing and hopped over to crutches. I looked at my reflection in the mirror, making sure my hair was dry enough and my clothes weren't too messy.

I went into my living room but only found my father reading a guide to successfully retire at a young age. He looked up at me. His face slowly turned into a creepy grin as he pointed towards the kitchen. I don't know how my mother was able to fall in love with this man. He wasn't a bad man it's just that his facial expressions were and still are a bit creepy. He even got into many misunderstandings such as "asking" to start fights with other people by simply "glaring" at them, of course he has gotten better since this all only occurred when he was younger. Girls would usually think he hated them or was unapproachable. He wasn't bad looking, in fact, I heard from my mother and her sister about how popular he was, back in the days, with the girls. Mother on the other hand, is as sweet as an apple pie... with whip cream, gummy bears spread as a topping, chocolate syrup drizzled on the pie, and a cherry on top. Her sweetness can give anyone and everyone a tummy ache. 

I walked into the kitchen were my mother was siting around the table, facing me, smiling from ear to ear. Sora was siting next to her, fidgeting with the bow on her white blouse. Both guests had their backs facing me. My mother began clapping hysterically as she quickly arose from her chair. 

"Hyukkie~ hon! look who came to visit us! Kyu and Sungmin!"

"Huh?!"

Kyu, who sat in front of Sora, turned around with a grin on his face. Sungmin, who sat in front of my mom, on the other hand looked as if he was about to attack me at any moment. I stood still for a while not know how to handle the dark aura coming from Sungmin, everyone else seemed to be oblivious. Kyu stood up from his spot and wrapped his arms around my waist. I blushed from the sudden contact, trying to avoid making eye contact with Sungmin, who was barely holding onto his patience. If looks could kill...

"Hyuk!! I know I just saw you like two days ago but it feels like it's been forever! I missed hugging you!" He chuckled. I could feel his happiness begin to rub off on me because unconsciously I began to smile, showing my gums. Usually I would try to cover it up but seeing Kyu this happy, compared to how he looked on Friday, made me feel like I was in pure bliss. 

I pushed Kyu off of me since Sungmin had a timer ticking its last few seconds off on top of his head. 

"HA HA HA Kyu stop messing around... seriously." I made my way over to the empty chair at head of the table, next Sora and Kyu. i didn't want to be anywhere near Sungmin.

"H-hey Sungmin."

"...." Rather than responding he started squeezing the glass in his hands only answering with a simple nod.

"S-soo what bring you guys here?"

"We didn't come to visit. It's just that your mom saw me leaving drom my work place and asked me to follow her home so that we could have dinner together. Sungmin, here, was with me when your mother found me and since he took the bus to my workplace she offered him a ride." Kyu ruffled Sungmin's hair with affection, causing Sungmin to blush noticeably due to his white pale skin. 

Hehe this freak was just glaring at me from jealousy! hmpf! Kyu is a brother to me but Sungmin just made me want to miss with him 

"Sooo Kyu are you still going to come over tomorrow morning?"

"Of course. It was my fault."

I smiled like an idiot making sure my imaginary flowers were hitting Sungmin in the face. 

"Thanks Kyu!!! I appreciate it!"

"Haha its no problem. its the least I could do."

"Oh! Hon I almost forgot you have to go to the doctor tomorrow but your father and I won't be home so instead I'll leave money for you to take a cab."

"Mrs. Lee it's fine. I'll take him."

"Bu-"

"No but's. It's perfectly fine. I should help you guys. If it weren't for you and your family I don't know if I could have ever been this happy."

"Ow Kyu.. sweetie you keep making me fall for you!" My ran to his side and started squeezing him tight.

"MOM!" Sora and I screamed in unison. 

"DAD! MOM IS BECOMING EMOTIONAL AGAIN!"

My dad came into the room in a swift motion began to drag my mom away from poor Kyu and the kitchen.

"Nooooo Kyu wait for me~" I rubbed my temple in frustration.

"Sorry Kyu mom is a bit...."

"Weird" Sora finished for me.

"Yeah..."

"It's no problem. I thought that was cute"

"Of course you would think that." I rolled my eyes.

"Kyuhyun are you going to stay over tonight?" Sora became extremely shy when she spoke to Kyu. Oh god... I hope she doesn't

"No I'm busy. I was just going to stay for dinner and go back to my apartment."

"Ahh I see... Well I leave you three to talk on your own while I get mom to come back to her senses and cook food." She is! I watched Sora in disbelief as she walked out of the kitchen with her shoulders slumped. 

"So.... i didn't know you worked."

"Pssh Than you don't know much about him..." I could see Kyu smirk in amusement.

"I didn't tell you because I didn't want to worry you or for you to tell your mother." He winked and patted my hair. I could feel Sungmin sending poison arrows towards my head. 

"But I thought you said you didn't need to work?"

"I don't. It's just because I want to do it. I like getting away from certain people at least once in while."

I could tell he was directing his comment towards the person next to him by the way he was becoming timid. Usually I would feel bad for the people Kyu scolds but Sungmin has been sending me daggers for no reason.

"what the hell Kyu! I only followed you because I care about you!" Sungmin yelled while keeping his eyes directed at mine.

"Stalker... leave me and Hyukkie alone for a bit."

"But-"

"Go."

"Fine you heartless bastard!" Kyu scoffed in response.

Feeling guilty I felt the need to apologize. "Sorry Sung-"

"And you!!" he stood up angrily and pointing his trembling index finger at me. "Don't you DARE make a move on him!" 

"I-" I couldn't even get a word through to him before he had stomped his way out of the kitchen. 

"You know Kyu your Friend seems to hate me. Did you tell him something?"

"Nope."

"Oh..."

"Well I kinda told him that I used to have a crush on you when we were kids."

"WHAT?!!?"

"Don't worry... I liked you but not to the point were I was in love."

"Kyu what the hell? Couldn't you have consulted me before you said anything." I gripped one of the plastic fruits on the table to stop myself from punching Kyu.

"It's not like they were your feelings. There's no need to get angry."

"But it involves ME! Why didn't you tell me?"

"Well it's not a big deal. I've already have someone else and so do you. There is no point in hiding something that isn't relevant." He's right. I shouldn't be getting mad; but the thought of Hae finding out might cause some unneeded drama. I hate it when Hae gets depressed. 

I let go of the innocent fake fruit and took deep breathes to calm down.

"Fine. But please just stop telling everyone."

"Whatever. I won't tell Hae." He chuckled as he started patting my back.

".... by the way Kyu... what is going on between the two of you?" I eyed him.

"Nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Mhmm" I could see a light pink color form on his cheeks. 

"You guys are to close to be friends, to close to be best friends, but different than brothers... I know you guys are DAT-"

"Shut up!!!  Don't say it!"

"Why?" it was now my turn to grin.

"Oh! I get it. Our Kyu is shy!" I patted him on the back.

"No!" He started trembling and blushing madly. 

"Soo cute!"

"Hyukkie Don't you dare make fun of me!"

"Or else?"

"OR ELS-"

"HYUKKIE! KYU! WE ARE GOING OUT TO EAT! HURRY UP AND GET YOUR JACKETS!"

"Your safe... for now." Kyu scrambled up and hurried off to the front door.

The rest of the day was a bit of a blur. My mom thought it would be funny to get drunk and forced my father to do the same. Sungmin seemed to have gotten used to my family except for myself. He continued to cling onto Kyu; making Kyu's sadistic side come out by creating more skinship contact between him and I, compared to his usual amount of contact. I think overall I had the worst night; dealing with two inseparable drunk parents, death threats from Sungmin, dealing with a unusually shy sister, and a sadistic brother. 

Kyu was the designated driver and ended up driving Sungmin to his house before dropping off my family and going back to his own apartment. Sora seemed to have been in a happy mood so I decided to not break to her the news of her beloved already dating someone else and that someone else being a man. 

After bidding our farewells to Kyu, my parents knocked out on the couch while my sister skipped to her room. I threw myself on my bed without taking off my clothes. I had taken a shower earlier today and since it tomorrow is Monday I decided to just wake up earlier to take a shower. Today I wanted to rest from dealing with 5 of the most bothersome people on the planet!

I slowly drifted off to sleep, thinking about my schedule for tomorrow. I would wake up thirty minutes earlier, take a shower, eat, go to school, than to the doctor to finally take off my cast. I couldn't wait. I yawned one last time before my eye lids heavily caved in on me, blocking out the bright full moonlight coming in through my curtains and transforming everything into darkness.

"HYUKKIE HYUKKIE WAKE UUUP~!"

"mmm" I grabbed my comforter and covered my head to block out the noise and light. 

"COME ON! IT'S GETTING LATE."

"Leave me alone Sora."

"Sora? I'm not your sister nor am I girl"

"Whatever. Whoever you are leave me alone damn it" I didn't feel like registrating their voice. I was to tired to even move my head. Last night really wore me out. I have never torn two lovebirds from each other. Only my mom would dare to get physical violence... and she did.

"Come on Hyukkie. I am NOT going to speed to get your on time. I don't care if it will ruin your chances to play your game this Friday I wont speed so better get up and change."

"Kyu? ... What the hell? You're early."

"No I'm on time! YOU are the one who is a bit late." I pushed off the comforters and stared up at him wide eyed.

"B-but I set my alarm!"

"No.. no you didn't. Look."

I looked at my clock and realized it was already 7:20am. 

"What the hell!!!?" I was supposed to be at school by 8.

I grabbed a pear of clean jeans from my drawer and a plain grey v neck shirt. I hopped into my bathroom and washed my hair and face. I quickly changed into new undergarments and put on my clean clothing. I didn't feel like styling my hair, since I was already very late...

I checked the clock. 7:48 crap. I grabbed my backpack and my vans that had no shoe lace. I tried running/dragging my leg to the kitchen, where Kyu was siting next to Sora and eating breakfast.

"Come on Kyu let's go! We're late!" He slowly turned to face me.

"No were not."

"Yea it freaken 7:50!"

"Correction its 6:50" He waved his hand towards the empty chair in front of him, beckoning me to eat breakfast.

"What?" I stood there dumbfounded. I couldn't understand what he had just claimed. It was nonsense! "But my clo-"

"I changed it." He turned his attention back to his food.

"What?"

"I CHAAAANGED it." He stuffed his mouth with potatoes.

"B-but why? how?" I spat.

"Mmm Because today we have to go early to sign me up for a club. How? when I arrived here abooout thirty minutes ago. Your mom asked me to wake you up because she had a hangover and didn't want to get out of bed so I took the liberty of making sure you would be ready."

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?!"

"Didn't feel like it."

"You- YOU BUFFOON!! I didn't shower!!" I felt my whole body set on fire.

"Bleh. Not my problem. You should have done that yesterday. Bye sweet Sora~" he smiled at her causing her to blush uncontrollably... I need to remember to have a talk with her later tonight. "Let's go Hyukkie." Kyu clicked he tongue as he pushed right pass me and out the front door.

"AAAUGHHH!!!" I kicked the wall on my way out of the kitchen but ended up falling to the ground as I soothed my aching foot

"Crap shouldn't have done that!"... don't want another broken leg.

"Moron." I heard Sora chuckle inside the kitchen.

Sweet my . 

I walked, well more like sped hopped, out of my house only to collided with a statue Kyu.

"What the hell are you doing Kyu? gahh my nose!" I rubbed my nose angrily

"Morning Eunhyuk."

 Surprised by the voice I held onto to Kyu hopping it wasn't true. Unluckily they were there. Hae stood in front of Kyu's path staring at Kyu directly in the eye. It's not that I didn't want to see Hae... I really did... I just hate having him get all emotional over Kyu vise versa.

"H-Hae what are you doing here?"

"Nothing... I was going to wake you up so that we could walk to school together alone and I also came to greet your parents." Making sure he emphasized 'alone' as he looked at Kyu from head to toe.

"You didn't have to do that."

"Yeah Hae. You weren't needed. If you want to go greet his parents go inside. We are going to school." Freaken Kyu! Damn it he doing it on purpose just to push Hae's buttons.

"Kyu thats not what I meant." I pinched him on his back to which he replied with a small chuckle.

If I could choke this guy!... No. Eunhyuk breathe...

"Oh really? than I'll go too." He glared at Kyu's sparkling eyes. Hae's eyes quickly softened once he face me. "I know you didn't mean it like that Hyukkie."

"Pssh whatever jealous freak. Lets get going." Kyu pushed past Hae and onto his car. I muttered a sorry as I walked passed him towards Kyu's car.

"WAIT!" we all simultaneously turned our attention towards Kyu's "Best Friend" as he ran up to catch up to us. Kyu rolled his eyes but I could tell deep down he felt giddy... like a school girl.

"Oh great. The evil one is back." I mumbled to Hae as he looked at Sungmin and Kyu with curiosity.

"Kyu! Don't you dare leave me behind as you run off with this... THIS THING!" he pointed at my direction.

"Well if you don't want me to escape with Hyukkie you better keep up." He smirked as he started his car and walked over to my side to help me in.

"I can do it." Hae grabbed my hand and put it over his shoulders while carrying the crutches using his other hand. My heart sped up with the mere skin contact. 

Before he could close the door Sungmin ran up to the door and pulled my collar towards his face. He leaned into my ears whispering "Don't touch my Kyu. I can tell you like Hae so don't you dare use Kyu to tease Hae or else I'll make sure that we can never become friends." 

He skipped to the back seat acting as if he had not just threatened me.

What kind of threat was that? Friends? What is he? A middle schooler?

"Hyukkie you alright?" Hae snapped  me out of my thoughtful moment.

"Yea I'm fine sorry about that."

"It's fine." I could tell he was feeling a bit moody by the way he looked at the ground as he closed the door.

Ahh what did I do to deserve this? Now I have to deal with two emotional people and an evil brother. I hope I can play basketball soon...

Ahh finished hehe I was sick this week (supposedly this occurs after finals lol)  my stomach was in pain so every time I tried to write I would make it depressing lol so I tried not to write to much. Even in the opening you could probably tell it was depressing lol but don't worry I'm sure a special someone will help Hyukkie keke hope to update regularly from now on since im on vacation woot woot~!  I have some bad news ... I gave away one of my babies if you guys didn't know I had two babies (kittens) I gave one away yesturday and next week i'll give the other one away .... ahhh its so heart breaking. so right now I feel a bit depressed but I have to move on but still a bit sad lol anyways THANK YOU SUBSCRIBERS <3 I LOVE YOU (> >.< <) ACCEPT MY LOVE! LOL jk jk
