Kyuhyun's POV

. This stupid song again...

I lazily lift my hand to search for my phone on the nightstand; after many failed attempts I sat up on my bed and shut off the alarm clock.

It's Saturday.

Unlike normal kids my age, I have a job. I don't really have the right to complain... it was my choice to work. I don't need the money nor do I need it as a reference, I just kept the job to keep me busy. I'm the type of person who hates having free time. I simply don't like having time to think; think about my future, my family, well my deceased family, my so-called friends, especially think about him...

I put on my waiter's uniform, straightened my hair to the side, and grabbed my backpack with extra clothing located inside the backpack.

I didn't bother making my breakfast. I went straight to my car and drove for more than an hour. I parked at the employ parking lot and clocked in.

I was still early, like usual, therefore my boss told me to organize the stock room. He never complains about me coming in early or leaving late. I've been working here since I was 16. Despite moving away from this town I didn't quit my job; like I said... I like staying busy.

"Ahhh Kyuhyun! You’re early... like usual haha." Crap it's Yesung. 

"Mmm" I continued to throw out the vegetables that were beginning to rot.

"Never much of a talker... but that's what I like about you." Speaking of ROT... Yesung is a rotten jerk. I felt him walk behind me and wrap his arms around my shoulder. It sent shivers down my spine.

"Get your ing hand off of me." I growled at him.

"Aww babe you're in a bad mood..." He whispered into my ear. "Let me make you feel better" I could feel his disgusting hands begin to caress my shoulders.

"Go away before I beat the out of you and tell you're en boyfriend about you flirting with anything that moves!"  I shoved his arm off of me and continued to do my job. I could hear him cursing as he left the room.

Finally. That left. I quickly finished organizing the room. I walked to Kangin's office.

"Oi! Kangin hyung, I finished cleaning out the stock room." Kangin shook his head without looking up from his stack of papers.

"Mmm! good! It’s a slow day... Yesung is already taking orders but it seems like he has it under control. Go to the kitchen and see if they need help! if they don't go to the wine cellar and organize it... Yoona mixed them up last night, since shes new and all."

"Yeah" I opened the door and took a step outside before Kangin called me back into his office.

"Wait! Never mind once you finish with the kitchen teach Yoona how to fix the wine cellar."

I clicked my tongue loud enough for him to hear.

I really don't mind teaching others how to do things... that is if you aren't like Yesung. That's right Yonna is the female version of Yesung. It’s pretty damn annoying.

I slowly walked into the kitchen where the chiefs where cooking. I grinned as soon as I spotted a certain shorty, by shorty I mean height, washing the dishes.

I wrapped my arms around  you ’s waist making her drop the silver dish. Keke

"ahh!!! Omo! Freaken Kyu!!! I should just punch that smirk off your face! Noooo it was one of the authentic ones.... Kyu. Now my pay will be deducted because of you!!"

"ahaha that's not my fault!"

"HOW is it NOT your fault!" you  put her hands on her hips. Lips pouting and eyebrows furrowed.

Cute.

I put on my innocent facial expression. " you I just wanted your attention..." I looked at you  directly in the eye. I could see a thin shade of pink take over her cheeks. 

"Whatever."  you  angrily mumbled as she began picking up the glass off the floor. 

"I'll help~" I sang and grabbed the broom off of  you  hands. 

After a couple of minutes we finished cleaning up and you went back to drying the rest of the dishes.

" you thank you for forgiving me~! Let me hug you!"

"No! You think you can hug me after the stunt you pulled?! You’re lucky I'm in a good mood... punk." She threw up a fist towards my face, stopping a few centimeters before making contact.

She smiled; I had to admit it was a really beautiful smile. A smile that can make you forget your worries. She had the power to make some one feel full of confidence and optimism, simply by smiling.

It'd be great if I could fall in love with you....

"What?!" I saw you quickly drop the plates back into the sink. She swiftly turns around to face me with her eyes bulging out of her eye sockets.

"Huh? What?"

Crap I hope I didn't say that out loud! I felt my face feel hot like a furnace set to 1000000 degrees!

"I forgot to tell you.... crap wait here!"  you ran off before I could even say a word. 

Well... at least it's safe to assume that I could still keep that a secret. 

I shook my head while waiting for you . What the hell are she doing...?

I saw her run back inside the kitchen whispering something to the other chiefs. I got closer but  you  caught me and began sending glares at me. I took a few steps but curiosity took over my body. I took small steps closer to the group. Curiosity kills the cat. you  literally sent a knife flying my direction, landing only a feet away from me.

. I think I'll just stay put.

"Wait over there Kyu!!"  you dragged all the workers, except for me, out the kitchen. 

After what seemed forever you  finally walked back into the kitchen.

“What the heck took you so long?!” If you hadn’t been born a girl… ugh I could really settle for a punching bag right now. How dare someone make the grand Kyu wait for half an hour!?

It's Kyu's birthday! How could I forget?

Ahh he really is lucky to have a friend like me, come on I even forgave him for practically getting half of my paycheck deducted from me.

I walked into the kitchen with a huge grin on my face. I could tell Kyu was getting angry with me. He was sending daggers through his squinting eyes. hahah so cute~!

I'll admit I had a crush on Kyu when I first meet him, which was about two years ago, even now I can feel a small fire light up in my chest every time I see him... HOWEVER, sadly, he already has someone in his heart. It hurt finding out especially on the day I was about to confess. On my birthday ...

Flashback-8 months ago

Yesterday I went to the mall to pick out the best outfit I could find at the stores. Not to be conceited or anything but I looked pretty damn good. 

I put on my outfit and double-checked my reflection in the mirror to make sure there wasn't some type of clothing malfunction. Pleased with the image I skipped out my room and towards the park where I would meet with none other than my loveable kyuuuuuu~

I was thirty minutes early but it didn't matter to me... I just want to spend time with him, without my having anybody disturb us. I walked towards the fountain located in the middle of the park. I could hear a rude guy yelling at some old man.

Geez some people... no manners. I walked closer to the arguing couple. I got ready to use my fists to knock some sense into this useless guy...

"I saw what you did OLD man!"

"Leave me alone or I'll call the police!"

"What the ! Don’t threaten me! Do it! Do you have a phone?! No?..." Wait... I know this voice!! It's Kyu! I can understand his vulgar way of speaking! I quickened my pace.

"Here! use mine! You useless piece of sh-" 

"Kyu!!" I slapped his hand away from the old man's face.

"What the hell!" He scrambled to pick up his phone from the ground.

"What's going on?" I asked the guy snickering at Kyu's misery. I tried to ignore Kyu’s fireballs coming out of his eyes, directed to me of course.

"This punk came up to me and just began making fun of me because I'm old! H e even called me dirty for blowing my nose in front of him!"

"Kyu, is this true?" He refused to look up at me, trying to pay full attention to his phone as he mumbled some more informal language.

"Kyu! Answer me!" Kyu glanced at me, full of anger.

"No you idiot buffoon! That old man was taking pictures of the girls walking by! One of the girls even told me he tried grouping her but she ran off because she was traumatized from by this ugly snot face of a ROACH!"

"YOU LIAR!! I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH PROFANITIES!" I saw the old man getting ready to smack Kyu with his cane. I grabbed the old man's cane before he could touch Kyu. 

"Sir. I may not know exactly what happened but I know Kyu is no liar, using violence to quiet someone is not the best solution.” I maneuvered the cane back to his side.

“WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? You should just act like other normal girls and go shopping! This is a man’s conversation!”

“Ha! By your attitude it seems like you’re really just an old fart.”

Ahh it’s official I’m becoming a mini-kyu.

“You don’t know who you’re messing with!!”

I stayed quiet for a while; watching him fume and clench fists, almost snapping his cane in half. I hate confrontations. I may look tough on the outside but right at this exact moment I can feel my body trembling but only ever so slightly.

“Are saying you’re going to hurt me? If you did… I could go to the police right this instance and have you locked up… Even for just the night... Leave before I call the police to report your wrong doings…”

“Tch… you two better watch you’re backs… You really don’t know who you’ve just messed with…”

He turned his back to us and threw his damaged cane into the fountain. I watched him leave the park.

I could tell Kyu was a bit shocked about my actions.

You see at work I’m always the cute bubbly type of girl; however, I hate it when any type of injustice occurs in front of me… When it does occur in front of me I tend to lose my control.

I breathed in deeply.

 “Oh my god…”

My legs cave into the ground. The only support that kept me from landing on my face was my trembling hands.

I felt my eyes begin to water. I didn’t want Kyu to see me like this… I like him thinking that I’m stronger than I really am...

Get a hold of yourself.

“you ?”

“Hahahha sorry Kyu I’ve never done that before. It’s your fault so now you have to take responsibility!”

I couldn’t bring myself to get up. I had no energy.

Warm arms suddenly wrapped around my neck. I could feel Kyu’s steady heart beat against my back. It helped steady my own heartbeat, it felt like I was under a magic spell… a warm and beautiful magic spell.

“Thank you” came out of my as a very faint whisper.

He melted away all my nervousness and anxiety in record time. I pulled myself together and grabbed his hands into my own.

“Lets go buy drinks!”

He smirked “We’re underage”

“Oh Kyu quit acting all innocent I know you have some type of fake ID!”

“hahah you know me too well”

Yes I do.

Kyu grabbed my hand and lead me to a local liquor store across the street.

We successfully bought them and headed back to his apartment.

“Uhhh Kyu maybe we should have gone to drink these at my place.” I said holding a beer can with my quivering hands. I felt Kyu breathing on my neck.

“Don’t worry I live alone. Hehe”

“No! Not like that! I did not mean it like that!” My face began to sweat uncontrollably.

“hhahaaahha” He laughed his off and threw himself on the grey carpeted floor. “I know! Ahhahah Don’t worry I don’t plan on touching a flat chested girl like you!”

Hmpf! How dare he insult me! I know I’m flat but I’m not TOO flat either! I chugged the whole can of beer out of frustration.

The rest of the night was spent with us just drinking and goofing around.

Today I learned that Kyu is a horrible alcoholic. It’s pretty cute but foolish. His first stage is singing girl group’s music, than he would dance some of their famous dance steps.

Unfortunately the worst part was right before he would pass out.

He always felt the need to tell anyone around him about his worries and secrets. That day he decided to tell me about a certain someone; the luckiest person in the world, the owner of his love.

“You’re lucky you, YOU don’t have to be in love with someone whom you can’t have.”

Oh if you only knew.

“It hurts so much!” he clenched his chest. “You’d expect long distance would make everything easier! But NOPE! It just makes it harder!”

He reached over the trash and patted my shoulders.

“I know you might have a crush on me, you”

OH MY GOD!  How the heck did he find out! I started spazzing out by dropping my beer can to the ground.

My heart felt full of hope…. Maybe he was always looking at me? Isn’t it okay to hope for this?"

“but I’m warning you DON’T. Just STOP before you get in deeper!”

But I’m already deep… Kyu don’t talk to me like this…

My vision became blurry, my throat was clogged, my body shook…

“But Kyu I lov-“ My voice trembled.

“NO! ... No but’s…. I can’t ever love you. Only him…. I love only him…”

He killed me.

He fell to his side tipping over his beer bottle.

My vision was no longer clear.

“Kyu… why? You’re so cruel…”

My voice was failing me.

Kyu’s hands, his beautiful hands, were twisting and suffocating my weakened heart.

“I-I…. I don’t understand!”

I broke out into uncontrollable sobs.

“Why today? You !!” I crawled to his inviting open arms. Leaving tracks of tear stains on the carpet.

“Kyu… please don’t forbid me…” I wiped the tears off my eyes. His sleeping face looked so angelic… so beautiful.

“You bastard….”

I started punching his chest with the little strength I had...

I laid down next to him, ignoring the beer liquid that was moving closer to my body. I snuggled closer to his chest inhaling his unique sent. It calmed my fast heartbeat. I grabbed the collar of his shirt wiping away my tears.

“You deserve this…”

He killed me.

Tomorrow he will wake up with no relocation, no guilt, no regret. Tomorrow I will wake up with a shattered dream, shattered heart, and unbearable pain.

I pulled his body closer to mine, knowing this would be the first and last time I would ever be this close to him.

NOTE I used Yoona because I was watching a video of her from strong heart and her name just popped onto my head while I was writing the fanfic. I do not hate Yoona or dislike her :3 in fact I think she is a kind person (not that i've ever meet her xD) just had to say this to avoid misunderstandings :)) Idk why i also used yesung XD his name also just popped in my head lol

:D okay so i decided to add some kyuhyun pov since i told a couple of my readers I would do it soon. AND i wanted to add you (the readers) in my story :3 I plan on continuing from where I left off (from after the flashback on the next chptr.) than the chptr after that will be about eunhae<3 keke I hope this wasn't bad o.o I have two tests next week -_- one chemistry and the other psych. ALSO I WILL FOCUS MORE ON EUNHAE after this arc (which won't be to long lol I just wanna clear the kyumin pairing XD)
