He Was A Fighter
A FarewellAs a kpopper for almost 11 years, this is heartbreaking for me. i saw SHINEE debut and grow together as a group. They were one of the reasons why I loved kpop.
I still can't believe he is gone. My whole system, my heart and my mind refuse to believe that a wonderful and brave soul like Jonghyun left earth and has joined God up in heaven. I guess God really needed him there already. Jonghyun was very different from other artists in more ways than one. He had a glow in him everytime he was on stage. His vocals can comfort you, he was a brother to many artists, he stood up for lgbt rights and for mental health. He was a fighter. I was hoping last night that if i wake up the next day, this bad dream will be over but it wasn't.. unfortunately, this is real. I don't know how i can get over this. i wanna say sorry because i never got the chance to tell you i love you and that you always did well but i hope through this letter, you'll be able to hear this.
Dearest Jonghyun, i know that you have suffered greatly and im sorry that i never got to see you and give you a hug and tell you that you did well. Thank you for sharing your talent and thank you for touching the lives of your family, fans, friends, colleagues, co workers and fellow artists. I hope you can see how many people love and support you! As a person who suffered from depression too, I understand that your pain. I really wished i could have told you comforting words like how you did for me through your songs and through SHINEE. you will always be remembered as shinee's jonghyun, an artist who loved music more than anyone. I know that you will watch your family, friends and fans over up there in heaven. You truly are a star and you will be missed. you did well.
Thank you for everything, Kim Jonghyun. Rest in peace.
