The young woman looked at her reflection in the mirror, admiring the sleeveless satin gown with a slight bustle leading down to a medium-length train she adorned. Her hair was curled at the ends, parted in the middle, and hung down her back in shiny waves. A veil sat atop it. A diamond teardrop necklace decorated her neck. Her make-up was light just as she preferred it.

All in all she looked ravishing. Breathtaking even.

“You look beautiful.”

Her maid of honor grinned from ear to ear, the lady next to her nodded her head with a smile of her own as she wiped the tears that fell from her eyes with her hanky.

“Don’t cry, you’ll make me cry as well.”

The bride took the woman’s hands in hers, trying to keep her tears at bay.

“I’m just so happy for you my dear.”

She affectionately patted the girl’s cheek, “Thank you for letting me be a part of your life,” Mrs. Kim smiled, “For letting me share this joyous moment with you.”

She pulled her in a hearty embrace, “I’m sure your parents are very proud of you, I know I am.”

The bride blinked back her tears as she tightened her hold on Solji, “I might not be your biological mother but I hope you’d consider me as such.”

The bride looked at them with a nervous smile, “I can’t believe I’m getting married.”

Her friend chuckled, “Well, you better believe it sweetheart you have an anxious groom and a room full of people waiting for you out there.”

A tap on the door was heard before a red-headed beauty poked her head in, “How’s the bride to be holding up?”

Emma bit her lip, “I don’t think I can do this.”

Areum blinked and looked at Rei who motioned for her to come inside.

The brunette who was wearing a blush off-the-shoulder gown with an embellished bodice placed a hand on her friend’s shoulder, “Yes you can and you will.”

The bride took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

Areum went up to Emma and took the girl’s hand in her own, “You and Kai were made for each other. I have never seen a more perfect couple than you two.” The red-head said with a smile that the bride to be couldn’t help but mirror.

“Really? What about you and Baekhyun then?” Emma said in a soft teasing tone, “Or you and Sehun?”

Areum smirked, amusement twinkling in her eyes, “I thought it was a well-known fact that we’re perfect together.”

Rei nodded her head in approval, “Damn right it is.”

Soon enough laughter erupted in the once quiet room.

“But you two are truly meant for each other,” the brunette added with a genuine smile.

Mrs. Kim couldn’t help but agree, “You are. You tend to bring out the best in each other and most importantly you make each other happy.”

Baekhyun hugged the said girl and placed a chaste kiss on her forehead, “Kai won’t be able to take his eyes off of you,” he whispered with a smile before taking Areum’s hand in his own and interlacing their fingers together.

Rei shot her a playful wink, “I second that.”
