Eunjung groans in agony as her head is killing her at the moment. It gives her a lightheaded and her vision is quite not clear but her memories work extremely fine. She does not remember to sleep in a strange room with a man next to her. In fact, she was in the other side of the world so there is no way she went to sleep before.

Eunjung tries to get her sense back and figures out what happened and where she is at the moment but the lightheaded she got is not much helping. The dark grey comforter that wraps around her and a heavy muscle arm across her waist. Eunjung tries to remove it but the owner of the arm whines, refuses to let her go.

“Come back to sleep. It’s still early.”

The voice – it’s familiar. But Eunjung can’t grasps whose voice is that. She takes the man’s arm off her slowly before slides off the bed. The man turns around to look at Eunjung with sleepy face still on him – she gasps.

“Jung-ah, where’re you going?”

“C-Ch-Changwook-ah…”

“Hmm, why?”

A sudden static noise seeping into her ears, taking over the shock she had before. Eunjung covers her ears and yelps out of the discomfort. Changwook shouts her name and jumps off the bed to get her in his arms, checking on her. Eunjung saw the same worry look on him despite of the mature grown up looking he is now after years they’ve met, before she loses her consciousness.

“Are you feeling better?”

Changwook asked, gives her a cup of warm tea in bed after she wakes up from unconsciousness. Changwook sits at the edge of their dark grey bed, close next to her side and holds tight onto her hand as watching her sipping the tea carefully. Eunjung looks pretty pale compared to yesterday.

“What happened?”

“Seungkwan accidentally hit you with the van when he was trying to pick you up after you gotten into a fight with those guys.”

“Fight? What fight and why?”

“You don’t remember?”

“Honestly … I can’t remember.”

Realising the situation, Changwook surprised and getting more worried on her condition. As he was about to ask her to go to the hospital, the lights at the front door turns on showing there’s someone coming in before Seungkwan in with bomber jacket and apple in his hand, walking into their studio apartment. He brightly greets them both in bed (thank God they are not ) before saw the Changwook’s expression and blank Eunjung.

She never had that kind of looking before.

“What happened?”

“Seungkwan-ah … she can’t remember.”

“… Eh?!”

Eunjung stands under the faucet rain shower as her eyes are keeping close, trying to get herself back in the situation despite the voices outside of the bathroom are clearly talking about her losing her memory. She is 100% sure she remembers everything because she still remembers her life in the other world. The last thing before she woke up here, Wonwoo mentioned about Vernon taking someone’s freedom for her.

Changwook, Seungkwan and two new persons stop talking when Eunjung makes her way to the living room after changing into a dark blue with white line comfortable sweater and sweatpants.

“Noona, do you remember us?”

Eunjung looks at the kid with dark brown hair who asked her and then moves her gaze to the lady with blonde hair before she shakes her head. Seungkwan tries to brighten the serious dull environment, standing up and smiles.

“Ok, let me do the introduction. My name is Boo Seungkwan and you know your boyfriend- I feel hurt. This young looking boy is Dino and that noona is Qri. We are your partners.”

“Partners?”

“We … err, how to say- Four of us are doing are working together, doing errand for the client. Any kind of instructions that is very confidential. I mostly work behind the screen, Qri noona do the delivery things and you and Dino always get your hands dirty. We called ourselves as Healers.”

“Healers?”

The same loud static seeping through her ears, making her groans in pain as she lose her strength on her legs but thankfully Changwook manages to catch her from following. The static sound is being replaced with a whisper of familiar voice. It is talking too fast it hurts Eunjung’s head, could not see the panic face on everyone.

“Abraxas.”

“S-Stop.”

She said with her trembling eyes, making everyone to stop moving and looks at her with concern. Ignoring the tears trailing down her cheeks, Eunjung catching a breath as she holds onto her boyfriend tight. She steals a glance down to her wrist and like what she expects, the mark is gone.

“I … I remember now.”

Vernon took those guys freedom and exchanged it with her life as Elsie in the other side of the world, making her lose her power and ability – making her as a normal human being. The timeline she is living right now is the continuation from her past, if she did not make such deal and become Vernon’s slave. A life she always dream about and she is living in it.

Eunjung will not thank Vernon for it.

Because it feels like she is going to be happy with Vernon’s action to take those guys’ freedom. Somehow that guilty disappears along with her memory of the other world, making her a completely norm
