“Taehyung, do you remember anything?”

Namjoon splashes water to his face before looking himself at the mirror as he tries to connect every details they have.

“Besides, he is the only one who knows who made the deal with me.”

“…something might change if he remembers everything he lost.”

“How did you know about your parents’ death anniversary? Did someone tell you?”

Taehyung was about to answer Yoongi’s question but he could not. He does not even remember how he knows the date.

“No one … did.”

“I’m pretty sure he remembers something. He even knows everything but couldn’t point it out correctly. There’s no other better explanation than this.”

Namjoon said.

“We need to tell him the truth.”

“NO!”

“Why not, Hoseok? She even said that something might change if he remembers everything. Shouldn’t we do something about it?”

“What if it’s a trap? What if she wants us to make him remember so she can make it worse?”

“Seriously hyung, how worse can it be than this?”

Jungkook questions Yoongi.

“You saw her by yourself. She’s freaking planning something behind. Why on Earth would she tell us on how to make this better?”

“I don’t know. She’s tired perhaps.”

“She makes a deal for a demon, for God sake!”

Hoseok exploded, shutting everyone from any comments.

“If we’re inside of the demon’s game, we need to do something to get out from there.”

Namjoon said.

“And what do you suggest?”

Jimin asked.

“Let’s make him remember.”

Namjoon bites his lips as he waits patiently for the elevator to stop at the Taehyung’s apartment level. He takes a deep breath as he takes his steps towards Taehyung’s apartment. Frankly speaking, Namjoon is afraid. For the first time, he does not have any plan no matter how much he want to. What if Taehyung does not remember? But what if Taehyung remembers? What happens then?

Namjoon does not know.

He was about to knock the door but Taehyung is a split second ahead of him, opening the door with a bright smile on his face. Somehow, Namjoon’s worries washes off after he saw the younger welcoming him into the apartment.

“I’m sorry for coming after such notice.”

“Nah, totally fine. Glass of water?”

“Sure.”

Taehyung walks into the kitchen, pouring water into the glass before putting it on the kitchen bar, in front of Namjoon who is sitting on the stool across him.

“You sounded … urgent. What’s up?”

Namjoon takes a moment to find exact words to say to the younger.

“…Do you remember how you got into the accident in the first place? Do you know how your parents died and how weird it is for people back in Daegu for not knowing you?”

Taehyung furrows his eyebrows as he finds it weird for Namjoon to ask such question.

“Why, out of sudden, with these questions?”

“… Out of curiousity. Maybe I can help you to regain back your memories, a bit.”

It would be a lie if Taehyung did not try to remember things in the past. It was killing him to know about his parents, about his life back in Daegu and about himself that died past 6 years in the accident. He was lonely without his identity, his memories and was trying so hard to find himself within the society. When Taehyung knows 6 of them, it keeps Taehyung brighten all day, making him forget the lost past he was looking for.

But when Namjoon resurfaces it, it makes Taehyung wonder.

What will happen if he remembers?

“They said I wasn’t allowed to leave the house when I was child. My parents were rich that they hired a teacher for me. The only thing they knew about me is my existence.”

“Not even your name?”

Taehyung shakes his head.

“They just called me, the Kim’s son.”

‘A hidden child. No wonder.’ Namjoon thought.

“So they didn’t know much and my parents worked in Seoul back then, so it wasn’t helpful at all.”

“The accident?”

“I don’t remember how it happened but the nurse told me it was a big accident. I was in the bus to the city, perhaps going to my parents’ office, and got crashed into a few cars.”

Namjoon knows the accident.

He was there in the bus, with all 5 of them, but Taehyung was not inside of the bus. He was in the car with his parents – where everything started to change, the moment when the clock of game is ticking.

“I don’t know how they died because the files were caught in fire, both in hospital and police station. I can’t even search for their pictures everywhere when the only thing I remember about them is their name.”

Namjoon widens his eyes and shoot up on his feet, grabbing Taehyung’s wrist as he looks at him.

“You remember?!”

Taehyung is quite taken back by the loud voice of Namjoon which freaks him out a bit. Of course, Taehyung knows the name from the urns, he does not have to remember to know it but Namjoon could not think straight. He is too nervous.

Too scared. Worried.

Taehyung watches as Namjoon takes out his phone and searches for something, before shoving his phone screen to Taehyung’s face.

“Do you remember them?”
